Solving the Issues of District 4
Mo Mo never expected Ye Mo to speak in such a way. He couldn’t help but ask, “Darling, by saying that, you’ll offend District 3. Even after you saved them, won’t they resent you? Is it really worth it?”
Ye Mo raised her eyebrows and replied, “That wife of the star lord of the third main planet is not a good person. She’s still trying to trick me into going back there to blow up another planet.”
Mo Mo narrowed his eyes. “Are you sure?”
“More than 80% sure. She’s already issued a threat to the people on Garbage Planet, saying they’ll regret it if they don’t leave. Many online users have seen it, not just me.” Ye Mo scoffed. “If I don’t speak decisively, I’m afraid she’ll try to morally manipulate me again!”
“Do you even care about that? Once we return to Planet Elf, we can destroy the wormhole. Without that, how could anyone use moral manipulation?”
Ye Mo winced slightly. “Let’s talk about that later. For now, we can avoid dealing with them if we don’t want to help. But right now, we should focus on stabilizing District Four.”
Meanwhile, the online discussions were buzzing after Ye Mo’s comments.
“This is exactly what District Three wanted. They must be overjoyed now, right?”
“That’s what happens when you slander the General’s wife!”
“I’ve done the math. She’s worked non-stop for four days and nights with only two hours of rest. And somehow, they’re twisting it into her being the villain?”
“Our General’s wife is flesh and blood, not made of iron! It’s completely normal for her to need a short rest!”
“Exactly. Why are they using moral pressure against her? When the wife of the Star Lord is jumping up and down, why doesn’t anyone morally pressure her? She was the first to try to escape and now the first to attack the General’s wife. What’s her agenda?”
“District Three is ungrateful! Everyone, take note of this!”
“Yeah, make sure to highlight this part!”
“Don’t lump us all together! The people of Garbage Planet are deeply grateful to the General’s wife. She’s always treated us fairly, never discriminating against us. I’m so thankful to her because she restored my sense of dignity.”
“General’s wife, please don’t hold a grudge against all of District Three! I’ve never doubted you!”
“Me neither! I’ve always believed in you!”
“No matter what, the General’s wife won’t be going back to District Three. So, the Star Lord’s wife can stop scheming against her. Are District Three’s leaders only capable of using planetary explosions as threats?”
“Exactly! Can the Star Lord’s wife explain why she’s forcing the General’s wife to return to District Three? Why is she threatening the people of Garbage Planet, saying they’ll regret not leaving?”
“Because District Three’s Star Lord of third main planet controls Garbage Planet’s detonation point. Given how whipped he is by his wife, she must know where it is too.”
“Wow, isn’t that incredibly dangerous?”
“Yes, extremely dangerous!”
Ye Mo, who was quietly monitoring the online conversations, felt quite satisfied. After all, no one, especially an impulsive woman like the Star Lord’s wife, should have access to such vital information about planetary detonations.
Though Ye Mo had already dispatched people to disarm the detonation device, it would still take some time. She couldn’t help but worry that the Star Lord’s wife might lash out impulsively. If she acted out because of all the online chatter and actually triggered the device, District Three would be completely destroyed.
After all, every planet in District Three was currently being pulled by the gravity of Garbage Planet.
Ye Mo turned her attention to District Four. The planets here were spinning rapidly, and if their collective rotation speed could be reduced, it would make things easier.
“What are you thinking about?” Mo Mo noticed she had been silent for a while and playfully tapped her forehead.
“I’m thinking about how to slow down the planets in District Four. They’re all rotating at such a high speed, and they’re moving in the same direction. If we could generate a force in the opposite direction, their speed would decrease.” Ye Mo speculated that the planets in District Four were relatively stable.
Mo Mo began to contemplate. Originally, he had planned to set up a massive formation around the planets. However, Ye Mo’s idea of using a counter-rotational force seemed much simpler and would save a lot of effort.
Mo Mo retrieved the ten spheres he had used before and tossed a few to his wife. Together, the two of them spent about ten minutes constructing a formation. As the formation activated, the spheres started to spin rapidly in the space surrounding the planets of District Four.
Thanks to Mo Mo’s efforts, the spheres created a formation that began to orbit the planets in outer space. With their movement, the rotational speed of the planets in Zone Four visibly slowed down.
The rescue efforts in District Four came to a halt as everyone waited in anticipation.
Over time, the people in District Four stood up as they felt the planet’s rotational speed decrease. The gravitational pull of the planets also returned to normal.
Once the situation had fully stabilized, Mo Mo dismantled the formation.
With that, the problems in both District Three and District Four were completely resolved. As for the issue of artificial suns, that was something they could handle on their own.
Mo Mo and Ye Mo had no interest in taking on that responsibility.
With their work done, the couple took their child and returned to Planet Elf. They had no plans to attend the victory celebrations in Districts Three or Four, even though they had been invited. Neither had any desire to participate in such events.
After all, no one in the entire galaxy had as plentiful a food supply as Ye Mo.
When they returned to Planet Elf, they found that the beast tribes were launching their third attack. This time, the leopard tribe had teamed up with the tiger and wolf tribes, increasing their numbers several times over.
Yan Mingke had initially planned to continue using the same defence strategies with his galactic soldiers when he noticed Mo Mo and Ye Mo had returned.
“You’re finally back! The beast tribes are attacking again, and we didn’t use our defence formations to fight before. What should we do now?” Yan Mingke asked Mo Mo.
Mo Mo smiled, “Continue with the previous strategy.” Then he turned to Ye Mo, “It seems the snake tribes didn’t affect them at all.”
“Hmm, we could send the rest of the snakes over.” Ye Mo smiled. Initially, they had planned to leave some room for the beast tribes to survive, but it seemed the tribes had chosen to escalate things.
Mo Mo and Ye Mo left Planet Elf immediately. What they didn’t expect was that the Fisherman Platform had been tracking their movements, automatically starting a live broadcast whenever the couple stepped outside.
As soon as they left Planet Elf, the broadcast went live.
Ye Mo, alerted by the butler, learned of the platform’s actions, leaving her feeling a bit annoyed.
