The Reluctance of Princess Caser
Qin Lin was genuinely angry, but he also felt a bit confused. Despite his best efforts, why hadn’t he achieved any results?
Suddenly, a thought occurred to him—what if he couldn’t get this woman from the interstellar realm pregnant?
This realization immediately caused him distress. If he truly couldn’t make this interstellar woman conceive, and now that his relationship with Ye Mo was completely over, how would he explain to his family why he didn’t have any children?
Just as Qin Lin was at a loss, Yu He and Yuan Lili brought the mischievous child to the First Main Planet for a shopping trip. Since they were there, Yu He naturally wanted to meet Prince Caser, lest he forget about her.
So, Yu He took the child to visit Qin Lin.
When Qin Lin heard the report, he immediately thought of the connection between Yu He and Ye Mo and summoned her without hesitation.
Although Qin Lin had previously seen these puppet children, he hadn’t taken a close look. This time, when Yu He brought her adopted child before him, he examined the child carefully. Not only did he look closely, but he also held the child for a moment. To his surprise, he sensed a dark aura emanating from the child.
A dark aura? And a familiar one from the Dark Realm, no less.
Qin Lin immediately examined the child more closely. After finishing his inspection, his eyes lit up. He knew that this child was a puppet. He also knew that there were many puppet children across the interstellar world, but he hadn’t expected that the soul within these children came from the Dark Realm.
As long as these children were from the Dark Realm, Qin Lin knew he could make this child his own bloodline. It was a simple process—all he had to do was replace the child’s blood with his own. Whether through dark methods or interstellar techniques, it would be easy to accomplish.
“Leave the child here for a few days. I’ll have someone arrange accommodations for you,” Qin Lin instructed. He had his servants arrange quarters for Yu He in his palace on the First Main Planet.
Yu He hadn’t expected that her visit to Qin Lin would result in her staying there. Who could have predicted such a moment? She had been longing for this opportunity for so long that it seemed like a dream come true.
Elated, Yu He settled into Prince Caser’s palace with her mother and two maids.
However, Yu He’s joy was short-lived. Soon after she moved in, the palace guards arrived to escort her away.
It turned out that the person who summoned her was none other than Princess Caser. To say that Princess Caser was angry would be an understatement. Since Prince Caser’s visit to District Eight, he hadn’t set foot in her chambers. She believed she had been more than understanding, never causing any jealousy or drama. Even when he brought back so many beauties from District Eight, she hadn’t made a fuss. Yet now, Prince Caser wasn’t even sparing her a glance.
It was as if she had become invisible to him, and when he did look at her, it was with disdain, as if she were trash.
Princess Caser couldn’t take it anymore!
Why? Why is this happening to her?
What had she done wrong? Could someone at least write down her crimes so she could understand what she was being punished for?
Was it simply because she is the first wife that she doesn’t deserve his affection?
Why? She is a woman, too!
So, when Princess Caser heard that a woman from District Eight had followed Prince Caser to the First Main Planet and was even staying in the palace, her fury erupted.
She had to see for herself what kind of beauty had captivated the prince. Without delay, she ordered her guards to bring Yu He to her.
But when the guards brought Yu He before her, Princess Caser was disappointed. This woman’s appearance could at best be described as plain. She was far from the stunning beauty she had imagined.
However, Princess Caser soon realized that Yu He had brought a child with her. Jealously, she asked, “You came with a child?”
Seeing her so-called rival, Yu He couldn’t afford to lose. She gently replied, “Yes, Sister Princess!”
Princess Caser’s jealousy flared, but she knew she couldn’t harm this woman. After all, Prince Caser already had a low opinion of her, and if she caused trouble, he wouldn’t forgive her.
Princess Caser didn’t make things too difficult for Yu He. After a few questions, she let her go.
From her conversation with Yu He, Princess Caser learned that of all the women Prince Caser had brought back from District Eight, Yu He was the least remarkable in appearance. As for why Prince Caser had married her, it was mainly because her sister had given birth to six children for General Mo.
Yu He had managed to stir up some resentment, shifting Prince Caser’s focus to the other women from District Eight, including Ye Mo.
Sadly, even though Princess Caser despised Ye Mo, she couldn’t do anything about her. She could watch, but that was all.
Although the Fisherman’s Platform no longer had the rights to broadcast Ye Mo and General Mo’s lives, there were many people on Planet Elf who streamed their activities. As a result, it was common to see Ye Mo and General Mo busy with their work.
Ye Mo, in particular, was often seen leading people in planting crops. Through the livestreams, everyone witnessed Ye Mo guiding a group of wood elementals in planting.
The entire interstellar community could see how Planet Elf was becoming increasingly prosperous, especially with the array of orbs surrounding it. One of the orbs shone like a small sun, illuminating the entire planet.
After sending Yu He away, Princess Caser watched one of the broadcasts featuring Ye Mo. Seeing Ye Mo’s beauty, she couldn’t help but clench her fists.
Is Caser interested in this woman?
Unfortunately, Ye Mo was General Mo’s woman now, and winning her over wouldn’t be easy.
Besides, Princess Caser had seen how powerful Ye Mo was, so she believed it was impossible for someone like Prince Caser, a playboy, to capture Ye Mo’s heart.
She could tell that Ye Mo and General Mo would grow old together, and no one could interfere with their lives.
Princess Caser felt bitter. Why hadn’t she found a love like that, a love between one man and one woman for life?
Was she not worthy of such a love?
Or perhaps she hadn’t married the right person?
At that moment, Princess Caser found herself reminiscing about her childhood sweetheart. If she had married him, would she have received a promise of lifelong devotion?
Princess Caser fell into deep thought.
Meanwhile, Yu He and Yuan Lili were settling into their small courtyard. Since they would be living on the First Main Planet for some time, Yu He quickly arranged for the remaining attendants from Planet Blue Sky to join them.
After all, their little master was quite a handful. It was impossible for the four of them to take care of him alone.
Now that the little one had caught Prince Caser’s attention, Yu He was even more cautious in caring for him. With so many powerful figures on the First Main Planet, she had to be wary of anyone trying to harm the child.
