The Unlucky Yu Family of Three

Grandma Yu was starting to feel regret. After all, if she had treated her daughter or Ye Mo a little better, she would have received good returns.

Grandma Yu certainly wanted to go to Main Planet One, but her son’s silence was filled with uncertainty, making her reconsider. It seemed there would be no benefits in going after all.

Her son had never provided her with any support; in fact, he might even ask her for money. It was worth noting that she had already caused a rift between her daughter and granddaughter because of him!

Her only option now was to rely on this son.

And now, when online users urged him to bring her to Main Planet One, he remained completely unresponsive. Did that mean that even if she went there herself, he would ignore her, leaving her waiting outside the ship?

Yu Fengqi was essentially being propped up by the online community. He had intended to bring his mother to Main Planet One, but Yuan Lili had changed his mind. After all, Yuan Lili and Grandma Yu had a relationship fraught with conflict!

The tension between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law was palpable. Living together would mean endless strife.

Thinking of such a life, Yu Fengqi fell silent. He was now too afraid to even check the internet.

Viewers noticed Yu Fengqi withdrawing like a turtle and couldn’t help but question Grandma Yu, “Was it worth it to abandon your daughter and granddaughter for such a son?”

When Grandma Yu saw those comments, her heart trembled.

She quietly waited, believing her son wouldn’t be so cruel, but reality proved her wrong—her son had cut off all contact, even deleting his online account.

The online community was filled with disdain.

Qin Lin was about to explode from frustration. He called Yu He over, “Have I not provided you with enough support? I give you so much living allowance every month, and what have you done? You can’t even support your grandmother?”

Yu He lowered her head. “Your Highness, it’s mainly because my mom and grandma can’t be in the same room without fighting. My dad found their constant arguing annoying and stopped paying attention to the online situation.”

“He even deleted his online account. What a thorough escape! You’ve really put me in a bind here.” Qin Lin was infuriated.

Now, online users have started to scrutinize his account since Yu Fengqi was technically his father-in-law, especially after he had just promoted Yu He to a concubine.

Qin Lin felt like he was about to bleed from anger, but he couldn’t take it out on Yu He.

He also had no desire to bring that old woman over, especially since she had never treated Momo well.

Deep down, he still considered Ye Mo as family. As for what the rest of the galaxy thought, that had nothing to do with him; he wasn’t from this galaxy anyway.

Thus, after Qin Lin’s outburst, Yu He returned to her room, and her grounding extended.

Once back, she had a heated argument with her parents. With parents like these, she felt exhausted.

Not only could they not help her, but they also seemed to be dragging her down. How could she tolerate that?

Yu Fengqi initially thought about creating a new account, but Yu He forbade it. She even cancelled her mother’s account and confronted her parents, “Mom, Dad, since you’re not good with the internet, just don’t use it anymore. I’m not asking you for much; just don’t make things harder for me! Right now, I have His Highness’s favour, but because of you, all my efforts are wasted! Do you understand?”

“Do you know that I’ve become a concubine? I should be attending many gatherings, but now because of you, I’m grounded! By the time I’m let out, who will even remember me? How am I supposed to integrate into high society?” Yu He was on the verge of tears from her parents’ foolishness.

Yu Fengqi and Yuan Lili were left speechless. Yu Fengqi’s earlier outburst had made their family notorious across Main Planet One. Now, neither he nor Yuan Lili dared to step outside; strangers often lingered near their home.

“What do we do now? Can we even go out anymore?” Yuan Lili felt a bit aggrieved.

Yu He shot her a glare. “Mom, what’s there to be aggrieved about? If it weren’t for you, would my dad have kept quiet? If he had even mentioned bringing Grandma to Main Planet One, we wouldn’t be in such a passive position now!”

Yuan Lili couldn’t help but cry at her daughter’s disdainful gaze. She hated that old woman. If she came, it would ruin her good days. Why should she be brought over? Was it to make her miserable?

While Yu He struggled in turmoil, on the other side, Ye Mo’s six little ones had started waking up one by one. The first to wake was Qianqian, as she had the lowest cultivation level among them, allowing her to merge more quickly. Then came Yueyue and Beibei, followed by Niuniu and Baobao, with Guaiguai being the last.

Guaiguai emerged as a junior ghost general, a significant leap in his development.

As for Baobao and Niuniu, they had reached the peak of high-level ghost warriors, teetering on the edge of advancing to the Golden Core stage.

Beibei, Yueyue, and Qianqian are almost there as well,  the three of them are all in the middle stage of top-grade ghost warriors but they weren’t in a hurry to cultivate. After waking, they each rushed off to play in the valley.

Baobao and Niuniu were the most diligent, determined to push themselves to reach the Golden Core stage!

However, Ye Mo did not dare to let them cultivate further, especially with so many interstellar soldiers around. Low cultivation levels could actually be a disadvantage. If they wanted to practice both yin and yang, it would be much harder for them than for those at higher levels.

After all, they hadn’t even properly started their initial training yet and were now expected to tackle another layer of cultivation, which was truly too much for them!
