A Tremendous Benefit
Guaiguai was eagerly absorbing the energy from the tribulation lightning outside. Initially, he intended to suppress his own cultivation, but as he continued to absorb the energy, he realized he was on the verge of transcending to the Nascent Soul stage. He decided not to hold back; after all, his tribulation was much easier than his parents’ Out-of-Body stage lightning.
Mo Mo and Ye Mo were still undergoing their tribulations when they noticed their son’s Nascent Soul tribulation mixed in with theirs.
They felt a bit helpless, but quickly guided their son to successfully form his Nascent Soul. Honestly, they were far more concerned about Guaiguai’s tribulation than their own.
Fortunately, Guaiguai’s innate lightning affinity made the process feel effortless.
Once Guaiguai successfully transcended to the Nascent Soul stage, the entire Ye Mo family reaped significant benefits. The altar beneath them was destroyed by the lightning and could no longer receive that immense power.
The Ye Mo family had truly gained an incredible advantage. From start to finish, the tribulation lasted two full days and nights. When the family disappeared, the beast clan members realized that not only was their altar gone, but the surrounding area had also been reduced to a barren wasteland, covered in dark ash—an unsettling sight.
“Leader, everything here has been turned to ash. The humans undergoing tribulation should be no exception,” one said. Initially, they had no idea what had disrupted the altar, but once Mo Mo appeared, even from a distance, they saw human figures.
Thus, the entire beast clan learned that a human had come to their altar to undergo tribulation, and had even successfully received the Beast God’s blessing!
The beast clan leader was furious, nearly choking on his anger, but the thought of the intruding humans possibly being reduced to dust brought him some solace.
Yet, despite this, he was heartbroken. Ye Mo’s actions had caused severe losses to the entire beast clan. This altar had been the only connection to their Beast God, and now it was completely gone. Rebuilding it? Ha, they would need someone capable of doing that.
The Ye Mo family had effectively severed the beast clan’s lineage, undoubtedly offending them deeply.
But was the Ye Mo family afraid?
Not at all!
This single experience propelled Mo Mo to the late stage of the Out-of-Body state, while Ye Mo had reached the middle stage of the Out-of-Body state.
Guaiguai shot up to the early Nascent Soul stage. He had initially tried to suppress his progress, but he couldn’t control it any longer.
Baobao and Niuniu advanced to the late stage of Golden Core, while Beibei, Yueyue, and Qianqian reached the middle stage of Golden Core.
Most importantly, their dual cultivation had shifted, as their internal energies had become even purer. Though it still resembled yin and yang, the energies on both sides seemed to align perfectly.
They had made tremendous progress.
When the family returned to the valley, they found the others in the pool starting to awaken.
Taking advantage of the moment, Ye Mo replaced the pool water with that from her space. While the yin-yang pool still existed in the space, the water on both sides now contained many more of the same things.
Furthermore, Ye Mo’s space had upgraded again, and the butler had reached the early stage of Golden Core, while his subordinates had mostly advanced to the Foundation Establishment stage.
They had all improved using puppet bodies, which proved to be incredibly powerful.
Ye Mo and Mo Mo discovered that the newly replaced pool water was even more conducive to absorption and accelerated everyone’s training.
Mo Mo began assisting each person individually. This time, everyone smoothly entered the dual cultivation stage, with even Jiang Ming, a newcomer, reaching the sixth layer of Qi Refinement—an impressive leap.
Among the others, ten entered the Foundation Establishment stage, while the remaining twelve, although not entering that stage, also made significant improvements. Everyone was quite pleased.
Next, Mo Mo began to summon his teams to the valley in batches. He only brought people from District Eight, leaving those from District Seven for now. Although he had a good relationship with Yan Mingke, it didn’t mean he could take his people without permission.
The second batch was led by Zhu Jun, totalling two hundred people. Mo Mo’s first order was for them to sit cross-legged by the creek and cultivate, and then after the black energy entered their bodies, they went directly to the pool to practice.
This process mirrored the previous group, but to Ye Mo and Mo Mo’s delight, this batch found it even easier to enter the dual cultivation phase.
Ye Mo pondered this. It could be related to their tribulation experience; since their return, they had altered the water in the valley’s pool, likely connected to the current improvements.
Zhu Jun’s group managed to complete their mission in under ten days!
Mo Mo continued to rotate groups, bringing in a hundred people every ten days.
This situation greatly frustrated Yan Mingke. “General Mo, Madam, isn’t this a bit selfish? Look, most of your people have already advanced, yet none from our District Seven have participated!”
“General Yan, this decision was made after careful consideration. The people from District Eight will eventually leave with me,” Mo Mo replied.
Yan Mingke furrowed his brow. “Leave? Where to?” He was anxious, fearing District Eight planned to abandon them.
“General Yan, we might leave the interstellar space. I can’t disclose specifics now, but there’s a good chance we won’t return. Therefore, I can’t bypass you and make choices for the soldiers in District Seven,” Mo Mo stated seriously, knowing he couldn’t take too many people, given many had families.
Yan Mingke fell silent but quickly turned to Mo Mo and Ye Mo. “Can I leave with you? Now that I’ve started cultivating, I feel staying here holds no future.”
This was Yan Mingke’s genuine feeling. He noticed that following Ye Mo or Mo Mo allowed his cultivation to flourish, but when he relied on himself, his efficiency dropped to zero.
“General Yan, as a leader, can you abandon your soldiers?” Ye Mo asked earnestly, noticing the struggle in his eyes.
“I’ll think it over at home and will give you an answer by tomorrow at the latest!” Yan Mingke replied seriously.
