Reborn in the Interstellar World as Cannon Fodder Chapter 3

Abducted

Ye Mo’s body had undergone some significant changes. Initially, she was just a phantom, but now she had developed a solid, translucent form that didn’t quite resemble that of a typical ghost. Ghost bodies were usually pale, but they only became solid and pale when they reached higher levels. Otherwise, they remained as mere phantoms.

Slowly, Ye Mo climbed out of the lake. Although she wasn’t a water ghost, she didn’t fear water either. Next to the Yin-Yang Lake was a large piece of black land divided into six plots, with a wooden house standing nearby. Inside the wooden house, Ye Mo discovered a strange object—a control screen perfectly positioned for her to operate. The screen displayed the black land outside.

To her surprise, the control screen allowed her to cultivate on the black land. It even showed options for upgrades. There was also an explanation stating that it was a farming game and that the farm currently had six fields. By using the control screen, she could play this cultivation game.

Ye Mo clicked on the black land and discovered that she could cultivate each of the six plots individually. However, at the moment, she could only plant wheat. Wheat matured quickly, and by the time she reached the last plot, the first plot was already ripe.

Since Ye Mo had just come into contact with this intriguing activity, she found it fun and lost track of time. She kept going until she felt tired and finally stopped. It was then that she noticed the farmland had leveled up. Not only did it gain an additional plot, but she could now plant corn as well.

After planting all the corn, she finally heaved a sigh of relief. Harvesting the corn would take some time, so she didn’t have to stand there and operate the controls continuously.

Ye Mo continued exploring the space, but other areas were empty, offering nothing of interest. She even thought that this space was inferior to the cave beneath the rocky beach.

Thinking about her cave, Ye Mo checked the outside of the space, and seeing no ghostly traces, she quietly slipped out. As she stepped out, she noticed the familiar brick at her feet and quickly picked it up, storing it inside the ring. Then, she hurried toward her collapsed cave.

When Ye Mo finally reached the ghostless area, she felt refreshed. However, when she arrived at the rocky beach, she was left in disbelief. Her cave had collapsed, and she couldn’t even enter it anymore.

With a sigh, Ye Mo returned to the space. For the next period, she immersed herself in the farming game. She couldn’t remember how long it had been, but she managed to upgrade the farmland to level ten. At this level, she could plant peas, sugarcane, and carrots.

One day, feeling tired from both playing games and practicing, Ye Mo ventured out alone again. This area was rarely visited by other ghosts, so she could walk around without any worries.

Ye Mo roamed aimlessly, but with a purpose—she wanted to find a comfortable stone bed. However, she couldn’t find one that suited her taste.

As she walked, Ye Mo suddenly felt a chill down her spine, as if she were being watched by something. She looked in the direction of the fierce gaze and was completely stunned. What kind of ghost was this in front of her?

The ghost before her was incredibly handsome and charming, but he was glaring at her with a murderous gaze. Had she offended him?

As Ye Mo took a closer look, she realized, oh my goodness! This handsome ghost wasn’t wearing any clothes…

In the dark realm, getting clothes was a simple matter, but the guy in front of her seemed to have none.

Ye Mo quickly threw a piece of clothing at the handsome ghost and flew to the side, saying, “Hurry up and put it on! Hurry up, or I’ll get pinkeye!”

The ghost’s name was Mo Mo. He looked at the clothes that fell on him, feeling a bit shocked. After all, when the clothes touched him, they didn’t burn. He carefully put them on, noticing that they fit him well. Most importantly, they didn’t disappear or get burned.

Mo Mo looked at Ye Mo, a low-level female ghost. As he observed her carefully, his face instantly lost color. Although her level didn’t seem high, she had a solid form, and most importantly, her solidity seemed to be of a higher level than his. Could she be a second-generation ghost?

Only second-generation ghosts could have a solid form at such a low level. But strangely, after examining Ye Mo carefully, Mo Mo couldn’t see her carrying any treasures. She had nothing, not even the clothes she was wearing, which could have been a valuable item for him.

At that moment, a voice came from not far away, saying, “Haha, Mo Mo, I caught you, didn’t I? Is this your little lover? Haha, it’s rare to see you with clothes on in front of your lover.”

“Qin Lin, give me back my equipment,” Mo Mo demanded. Originally, Mo Mo had a set of equipment that wouldn’t melt on him, but he had fallen for Qin Lin’s trick, and Qin Lin had taken it from him.

“Haha, chase after me if you want it!” Qin Lin was quite wicked. As he left, he even controlled a powerful tornado that swept Ye Mo away. Qin Lin was a Ghost Lord, and Ye Mo couldn’t even enter the space anymore.

Mo Mo saw this scene and immediately got up to chase after them. After all, he wanted to know what treasures this little female ghost possessed.

Thus, one ghost led the way with Ye Mo, while the other closely pursued from behind. Ye Mo quickly realized that the power of these two Ghost Lords was incredibly strong. They eventually ran out of the dark realm and into the human realm, where it seemed like everyone knew magic. Qin Lin was truly malicious—he specifically targeted people’s warehouses to trouble Mo Mo, who was chasing him.

Qin Lin didn’t take anything from these warehouses; he just wanted to destroy them! However, Qin Lin’s actions inadvertently benefited Ye Mo. With her spatial treasure, she had no problem collecting things, even though she wasn’t in control of the situation. Who made this guy in front of her the one who kidnapped her! After all, Ye Mo was quite angry at herself for getting involved in the conflict between these two.

So she waved her little hand and collected, collected, collected! Along the way, she didn’t know how many places Qin Lin had barged into, but she felt like she was gaining a lot! In this world of cultivators, there were truly all kinds of treasures. Perhaps the storage rings in this world weren’t well-developed, but anyway, Ye Mo felt like she was making a fortune.

However, in the end, it wasn’t just Mo Mo who was being pursued by a large number of people shouting and trying to kill them—even she and Qin Lin were followed by a large group of human cultivators.

Qin Lin’s nose was almost twisted in frustration, and he felt a surge of blood and qi in his chest as if he wanted to vomit. “You crazy girl! Are those people’s belongings so easy to take?” Damn it, he was duped! Forget about tricking Mo Mo; now even he was tricked!
