Cooperation, Part 1

“This process might take a bit longer,” Ye Mo pondered, “It could be a few days, or it might stretch to a month. However, as long as you keep watering it with the nutrient solution, it should live a bit longer.” She reflected for a moment. Even if the plant died, as long as it was watered with the life essence from the sunny side of her space, it would rejuvenate, just like a withered tree blossoming again.

The life force within it was incredibly rich, though naturally, she wouldn’t give away the water directly from her space. She would dilute it with regular water first.

Ye Mo thought for a moment and mixed some water in her space before pulling out a cup. The cup contained half yang water from the Yin-Yang Pool and half regular water. “General Mo, take a look at this,” she offered.

Even from a distance, General Mo could feel the powerful pull of the water. When he finally held the cup of life essence, his hands trembled slightly.

“What is this?” The life force within the cup was so concentrated that he almost wanted to drink it all in one go.

“It’s a nutrient solution! If the human body doesn’t reject it, you should be able to drink it directly.” Ye Mo explained. Although she practiced ghost techniques, her body still needed life force—especially the little one in her belly, who now required a significant amount of vitality. She had to drink a large cup of life essence water every day.

It was fortunate that the Yin-Yang Pool could cleanse itself automatically; otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to drink the water she had bathed in. After all, she had soaked in the Yang Pool when she was just a ghost.

General Mo didn’t hesitate. He lifted the cup and drank the water. The dense life force in the water felt as if it healed him instantly.

After drinking the water, General Mo quietly waited. He could feel changes occurring within his body, and about half an hour later, he noticed his body starting to emit a foul odor. Embarrassed, the general quickly excused himself to the restroom.

The scene made Ye Mo chuckle. Could this general be any more adorable? But was he really the infamous cold-blooded killer? Why couldn’t she sense any fiery aura from him? Was it perhaps suppressed?

Ye Mo narrowed her eyes in thought. If this man was indeed who she thought he was, he must be concealing a tremendous amount of energy within him.

She frowned slightly. Could it be that the interstellar gene health of people wasn’t sufficient, so it wasn’t manifesting? Maybe when the general’s gene health reached 100%, he would return to his original form?

Thinking back to that stark-naked handsome man, Ye Mo shook her head. That guy’s cultivation level was far too advanced compared to hers. It was better not to dwell on it. If he ever found out, her little life might be in danger.

When General Mo reemerged, he looked utterly revitalized. His gene health had risen to 65%, and astonishingly, his fertility value had jumped from 8 to 28. This was crazy!

“Miss Ye Mo, this nutrient solution…” General Mo’s hands trembled as he spoke. He had a hunch that if he drank a few more cups, his gene health might just hit 100%.

“Are you satisfied, General Mo? If it’s just for planting fruit trees, this nutrient solution can be diluted further,” Ye Mo noted, having seen the changes on General Mo’s wristband.

General Mo nodded seriously, “I think trading life essence water directly is a great idea. How about this: in exchange, I’ll give you the most advanced single-person spacecraft. It’s built for both offense and defence…”

He placed the spacecraft in front of Ye Mo. He knew this girl liked to wander around, and having a powerful spacecraft to protect her would give him some peace of mind.

Ye Mo traded a 100-pound barrel of life essence water for the most advanced spacecraft. Although the water was diluted with half regular water, it was still extremely valuable.

In truth, the most important thing was that even though the nutrient solution was only half the concentration of the pool water, its life force was still incredibly potent. General Mo would have to dilute it further before giving it to the plant researchers. If it were used directly, Ye Mo suspected it could spark a war.

At that moment, General Mo handed Ye Mo several sets of interstellar combat uniforms, explaining that they were highly defensive and, most importantly, could render the wearer invisible.

Ye Mo looked at General Mo curiously. “Isn’t this a bit unsuitable for me?” These should be worn by interstellar soldiers, not an ordinary person like her. It seemed rather out of place.

A smile appeared on General Mo’s handsome face. He had moved closer to her now, no longer sitting across but beside her. Leaning in with his striking features, he said softly, “If I give it to you, it’s suitable!”

For some reason, Ye Mo felt as though she had been flirted with. But wasn’t she a pregnant woman? Were interstellar people this bold? She just shifted slightly to the side.

Carefully, she asked, “General Mo, does this mean our transaction is complete?”

General Mo smiled, “Miss Ye Mo, now let’s talk about cooperation. Since you’re providing such precious items to our military, don’t you think you need some personal protection?”

Ye Mo quickly shook her head. “No need! I believe I can protect myself.” She didn’t want to attract too much trouble. Besides, her grandmother and aunt still thought she was just an ordinary pregnant woman. She had no intention of revealing her identity as a transcendent plant master.

“Miss Ye Mo, you should know that right now, the entire galaxy is watching you. Not just one region, but the whole galaxy. It’s even likely that this information has already reached other species, like the Zerg and Orcs…” Although this area was far from the Insectoids, it would be easy for them to create a wormhole to Kamo Star.

“Zerg?” Ye Mo was taken aback. She really didn’t know much about this world.

“Aside from humans, this galaxy is home to the orcs, zerg, and many other species that don’t even have names yet. They all covet humanity, and they need gene health far more urgently than we do.” Humans were somewhat stable, but the genes of orcs and zerg deteriorated rapidly.

This was why there had been fewer wars recently—everyone was focused on self-preservation.

War accelerated the collapse of gene health!

Ye Mo frowned. “And you’re certain you can protect me?” If she was in danger alone, she could always escape into her space, but if there were others around…

Ye Mo frowned again. What about her grandmother and aunt? Knowing that her identity as a master was so dangerous, she wouldn’t have been so reckless before. Now, she had brought all this trouble upon herself.

Ye Mo sighed and looked at General Mo. “I can ensure my own safety, but what about my grandmother and aunt?”

“I can station my men near the villa to protect them at all times.”

“Alright!” Ye Mo agreed immediately. She didn’t want to involve her grandmother and aunt in her troubles; it would weigh heavily on her conscience.

At that moment, General Mo couldn’t help but ask, “How’s your stomach?”

The question caught Ye Mo completely off guard!
