General Yan’s question left Mo Mo in a tough spot. He knew exactly why his wife had given birth so early—it was so she could follow him to the Beast Clan’s territory. But now, the real issue was that they had six children. Could she really go with him?

How would they ensure the safety of the six children? If it were just one or two, Mo Mo was confident he could protect them. But six?

Of course, Mo Mo couldn’t make the decision himself and just tell Ye Mo she couldn’t go. He was genuinely worried. If he left his wife and children behind, he might return to find them all gone. His little wife was definitely capable of such a move.

It was troubling. Taking his wife and children to the Beast Clan was undoubtedly risky, but how could he stop her from going?

Frowning, Mo Mo went to find Ye Mo. Seeing his expression, she asked, “What’s wrong? Why the long face?”

Mo forced a smile. “Nothing.”

Ye Mo circled him, studying his face. “Something’s up. Has District Seven been pushing you? Is it time to leave?”

Now that she had given birth, Ye Mo was finally free to accompany the army.

“Ye Mo, we have six children now. Taking them to the Beast Clan is far too dangerous. If they realize you’re with me, they’ll target you.” Mo Mo spoke seriously. “Maybe it’s best if you don’t go.”

“No way! I said I was going, so I’m going!” Ye Mo turned her face away, upset. Why else would she have had the children early if not to go with him? She could keep the kids safe. If needed, she could place them in her personal space, which had everything they needed—mountains, rivers, and even nannies. They wouldn’t suffer.

“It’s too dangerous, Ye Mo!” Mo Mo frowned. “Please, be good and stay here.”

“No! I said I was going, and I’m going! If you don’t let me, I’ll sneak there myself.” Ye Mo’s eyes widened in defiance. She had accepted not going while pregnant, but now that the babies were born, there was no way she’d miss this chance. Otherwise, what was the point of coming to this galaxy?

“Ye Mo, it’s two star regions away! Traveling alone is too risky. You could get lost, and I’m worried the children will get sick from the unfamiliar environment.” Mo Mo tried to reason with her, hoping she’d reconsider.

But Ye Mo was stubborn. She wasn’t giving in at all.

“I have a way to protect them,” Ye Mo said seriously.

Mo Mo thought of her special space but still feared for her safety. The Beast Clan’s territory was full of unknowns.

Just then, Aunt Yu rushed in. “Ye Mo, hurry! Something’s wrong with Guai Guai.”

Ye Mo immediately sprinted toward the courtyard, with Mo Mo following closely behind.

When they arrived, they heard the children crying non-stop. Ye Mo ran over to see Guai Guai drenched in sweat. The nanny robot tried to pick him up, but it was as if his body was electrified. The robot couldn’t get near him.

Ye Mo wanted to hold him, but Mo Mo stopped her, taking Guai Guai in his arms instead. He suppressed the wild energy coursing through their child.

Ye Mo anxiously grabbed Guai Guai’s wrist. Finally, the chaotic energy inside him settled, but the child had been deeply affected.

Ye Mo took Guai Guai into her arms, cradling him as he slept. She gently stroked his small head.

Once Guai Guai was calm, the other five children also stopped crying. Seeing Ye Mo, they all felt at ease.

After laying Guai Guai down and seeing that the other children were asleep, Ye Mo pulled Mo Mo outside.

“What’s going on with them?” she asked.

“The energy inside them is too powerful. They can’t control it, which is why this is happening. And their energy is different from ours, so we can’t help them.” Mo Mo clenched his fist. Though he’d temporarily suppressed Guai Guai’s energy, it was only a matter of time before it erupted again.

Ye Mo tightened her grip. “How do we fix it?”

“We need to go to Star One,” Mo Mo replied. “There might be cultivators there who can help.”

Ye Mo hated feeling so helpless. Given the situation, Mo Mo no longer needed to convince her. She couldn’t go to the Beast Clan now, not with the children in this state.

“Fine, I’ll take them there!” Ye Mo exhaled deeply.

Mo Mo immediately pulled her into a hug. “I’m sorry. I should be with you during times like this.”

Ye Mo sighed and wrapped her arms around his waist. “I know it’s out of your control. I’ll take care of them.” There was no room for her to act stubborn now.

However, she knew that going to Star One would bring its own dangers. Ye Mo began planning how she’d protect the children. If people saw them, they’d surely draw unwanted attention.

This time, Ye Mo decided not to bring Aunt Yu. Someone needed to stay behind to manage the valley, and Aunt Yu had been doing an excellent job. Ye Mo didn’t want to disrupt that.

Having made up her mind, Ye Mo quickly began packing. There was no time to waste.

When she returned to the room, Aunt Yu was by the children’s side. “Ye Mo, is there a solution?” Aunt Yu asked, clearly worried about Guai Guai.

“I plan to take them to Star One. There might be a cultivator there who can help with Guai Guai’s condition.”

“Alright, I’ll pack my things and go with you!” Aunt Yu immediately stood up, ready to prepare for the trip.

“No, Aunt Yu, you need to stay. Someone has to manage the valley, and you’re the best person for the job.”

“I can’t let you go alone!” Aunt Yu insisted.

“Aunt Yu, Grandma’s still here. If we all leave, who will take care of her?” Yemo leaned her head on Aunt Yu’s shoulder. “This valley is our home, our refuge. Only if you stay behind to protect it can I feel at ease.”

Aunt Yu hugged Ye Mo. She understood why Ye Mo was so uneasy. Ever since Ye Mo became pregnant, the attitude of those around them had been suspicious enough to keep them on alert. Even Aunt Yu worried that if they all left, the valley might be discovered.

“Don’t give me anything to worry about, Aunt Yu!”

With those words, Aunt Yu knew she couldn’t argue anymore. Hugging Ye Mo tightly, she promised, “Don’t worry. I’ll protect this place. No one will set foot here! This is our last safe haven, and I won’t let anyone touch it.”
