Ye Mo 1

Ye Mo gently held her child’s little hand, Guaiguai’s legs stopped exerting strength, and as Guaiguai clutched her fingers, he tried to bring them to his mouth. Even though Ye Mo had cleaned her hands, she was still cautious, “Little Guaiguai, no licking!”

She waved her hand, summoned a banana, peeled it, and brought it close to her child’s mouth. The child eagerly sucked on it, making slurping noises, which made the five younger siblings behind them jealous. At this moment, Niuniu decided to roll over, discovering that rolling could change her position, so she immediately started to move.

Unfortunately, she was rolling in the wrong direction, getting further away from Ye Mo. Realizing she was moving away from her mom, Niuniu started crying loudly. The old butler gently adjusted her, “Niuniu, you’re rolling in the wrong direction. Go that way.”

Now grasping the direction, Niuniu rolled toward Ye Mo, quickly making her way over. Ye Mo took out another banana and placed it near Niuniu’s mouth. Though her eyes were still teary, a smile spread across her face as she reached her mom and tasted the treat.

Seeing this, Baobao, Beibei, Yueyue, and Qianqian got anxious. However, they were still too small to get the hang of it. Yueyue tried to roll like Niuniu but ended up just spinning around, unable to get closer to her mom. Watching her four little ones flail around without succeeding made Ye Mo chuckle. Realizing they were not only failing to reach their mom but also being laughed at, the four babies started wailing in unison.

The old butler looked at Ye Mo with a hint of disapproval, “Young Master, you shouldn’t make fun of the children.”

After all, the little ones were still so new to the world, and their hearts were pure. Such mockery was too much for them to handle. The nannies moved in to pick up the children, but Ye Mo stopped them. “Let them be for now!”

Turning to the little ones, Ye Mo cheered, “Come on, Baobao! Go, Beibei! Keep it up, Yueyue! You can do it, Qianqian! Mom is right here waiting for you!” Upon hearing their names called, the four babies stopped crying and renewed their efforts to reach Ye Mo.

At this moment, Baobao seemed to have learned to crawl. Though his arms were still weak, he managed to inch forward, visibly excited by his progress. As for Beibei, he was lying on his back, pushing against the ground with his tiny feet. Although he couldn’t see Ye Mo, he knew he was getting closer to his mom.

Meanwhile, Yueyue and Qianqian, taking cues from their sister, began rolling in the right direction and slowly made their way toward Ye Mo. However, Ye Mo noticed their clothes had inevitably gotten dirty. A bit resigned, she called out toward the Yang side of the pool water, summoning the spirits out.

Hearing the sound of water, the six little ones turned to see the clone that had just emerged from the vitality water, and they were scared. One by one, they hurried to Ye Mo’s side.

Why are there two moms? How can there be two moms?

The six babies were frightened, refusing to eat their bananas, nervously glancing between Ye Mo and the clone.

Guaiguai clutched Yemo’s hand, calling out, “Mama! Mama!”

Ye Mo noticed that all six children seemed wary of her clone. Although it was also her, the children anxiously glanced at her and then suspiciously at the clone.

“Ha, you little smarties, that’s just Mommy’s clone. It’s also Mommy!” Ye Mo stroked each of their tiny cheeks. Though they responded with smiles, they still eyed the clone cautiously.

When the clone started to approach, the babies grew agitated, even on the verge of tears. Ye Mo signalled the clone to stop, and though the children’s bodies were still tense, they seemed slightly more at ease.

“What’s wrong with you six? That’s still Mommy, the very body that gave birth to you. Why can’t you accept it?” Ye Mo found the situation odd.

The old butler interjected, “It’s probably the aura. They’re very sensitive.” He called over the robotic nannies to clean up the six little ones.

Now alone, Ye Mo settled down to cultivate. “Old butler, has there been anything unusual about the clone recently?”

The old butler shook his head. “Nothing out of the ordinary, Young Master. However, the aura of that spirit body doesn’t quite match yours, does it?”

It wasn’t just the kids who were sensitive; even the old butler sensed something was off.

Ye Mo squinted slightly. She didn’t have the heart to practice anymore, she just got up and walked toward where the clone was standing. She grasped the clone’s wrist, inspecting it closely. Her spiritual body seemed fine, but even she sensed something slightly off about its aura.

Suddenly, one of the clone’s hands lashed out at her. Ye Mo grabbed the clone’s hand and, to her surprise, she actually saw the original owner’s soul.

It turned out the original owner wasn’t dead but had been hiding all along. And as the spiritual body continued cultivating in the Vitality Water, the original soul grew stronger.

Ye Mo’s eyes narrowed. “You’re still alive!”

“You are using my body but why didn’t you marry Zhang Yuming? Why did you marry that stranger, Mo Mo?” Yu Mo shouted furiously. “Why did you change your surname? My name is Yu Mo! I’m Yu Mo! Why didn’t you help my father when he got sick, and why did you abandon my grandmother? Why? Why?”

Ye Mo watched Yu Mo with narrowed eyes. “Yes, this was your body, but you gave it up, didn’t you?”

If Yu Mo hadn’t abandoned her body, Ye Mo wouldn’t have been able to take over. Now realizing that Yu Mo’s soul had been residing in the body all along without anyone noticing made Ye Mo uncomfortable.

“You could’ve saved my father! You clearly had the ability!”

“And why should I have? Did you forget that he wanted to sell your child and you as well?”

“The child isn’t even Yuming’s! He can do whatever he wants with it. I only care about the child I’ll have with Yuming.”

Ye Mo clenched her fists. This idiot… “That child is mine now, and so is this body!”

As Ye Mo spoke, she forcibly pulled Yu Mo’s soul from the body. Yu Mo struggled, but she was no match for Ye Mo. Extracted from the body, Yu Mo began thrashing desperately. “Let go of me! That’s my body! It’s my body!”

Ye Mo sneered. “Shall I tell you how you were originally meant to end? Did you know that your precious Yuming and that two-faced sister of yours were going to betray and kill you?”
