Chapter 162: Dreaming of Creating a Unique Wedding (Part 1)
After Tang Feng hung up the phone, Su Xiaoli asked somewhat nervously, “Is there something wrong?”
“It’s nothing. A record company called, wanting to sign me,” Tang Feng answered.
“It’s amazing how business-savvy some people are. It hasn’t even been two hours since the welcome party ended, and they’ve already called,” Su Xiaoli laughed.
“The essence of business is information disparity. To make money, you must be more aware and quicker than others. Otherwise, by the time you’re ready to act, everything will already be over,” Tang Feng responded.
“That’s true. What are you thinking?” Su Xiaoli inquired.
“I’ve arranged to meet with them at 8 a.m. tomorrow at the school’s south gate,” Tang Feng said.
“Shouldn’t we find a quiet place to talk?” Su Xiaoli suggested.
“We’ll see when we meet. There are two coffee shops nearby; if not, we can talk there,” Tang Feng replied.
“You’re now a public figure. Wherever you go, you’ll attract attention. Why not have them come to our house? If the living room feels too stuffy, we can sit in the yard. There’s also a place to have tea there,” Su Xiaoli suggested.
“That’s a good idea. Otherwise, before we even start talking, I’ll be surrounded by a crowd. That would indeed be a bit awkward,” Tang Feng agreed.
Back at the villa, Tang Feng and Su Xiaoli went to the bathroom to wash up briefly, then bid each other goodnight and returned to their rooms.
Lying in bed, Tang Feng couldn’t fall asleep for a while.
He was thinking about meeting Song Lei tomorrow.
His idea was simple: to establish a new record company and then invite Song Lei to join and manage everything.
After all, he had many things to do and couldn’t devote a lot of energy to managing the company.
With Song Lei’s years of experience and network in the record company, he was the perfect candidate.
Once the record company was established, he believed it wouldn’t take long to release an album.
He also planned to find suitable candidates in places like Jingcheng University’s Music Department and Jingcheng Conservatory of Music, tailor a few songs for them, and thus, his record company would stand out in a short time, becoming the best in Huaguo and even the world.
Thinking this, he felt somewhat excited.
Since his rebirth, he had mastered many skills and achieved great success.
He hoped to achieve even higher accomplishments in more areas.
Only then could he feel satisfied after each breakthrough.
He was well aware that he had reached the pinnacle in many fields.
Continuing to participate in similar competitions would not excite him as much as before.
Even winning a championship might not make him very happy.
He seemed to understand the old saying: being invincible is so lonely.
Unless a stronger opponent appeared, easy victories would not bring him much satisfaction but would feel like a waste of time.
He must make breakthroughs in different fields!
Only then could he continue to find happiness.
With these thoughts, he involuntarily opened the system panel.
The system had not assigned him any new missions recently.
He felt somewhat empty inside.
Although he could still sign in every day, the points he received were not many.
With the points he had saved before, he now had a total of 48,523 points.
He had been reluctant to use these points.
“System? Are you there?” Tang Feng tried to communicate.
“I’m here,” a familiar voice emerged.
“Why haven’t you assigned me any new missions?” Tang Feng wondered.
“It’s not that I haven’t assigned you new missions. It’s that you have a lot to do right now! Once you fully utilize the skills you currently have, I’ll assign you new missions. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have enough time every day,” the system answered.
Tang Feng didn’t respond.
“This is a great era! You possess a variety of top-notch skills! I hope you can do your best to create an even greater era and make the world a better place!” the system continued.
“I’ve always been working towards that,” Tang Feng replied.
“When the time is right, I’ll assign you missions with higher difficulty! I hope you won’t disappoint me,” the system stated.
“Don’t worry! I’ll give it my all!” Tang Feng promised solemnly.
“That’s good.”
The system’s voice disappeared again.
Tang Feng eventually drifted off to sleep.
When he woke up at 7 a.m., Su Xiaoli was sitting by his side, quietly watching him.
“When did you come?” Tang Feng slowly sat up.
“I’ve been here for a while. Are you okay? You don’t seem to be in a good mood,” Su Xiaoli expressed concern.
“I’m fine,” Tang Feng shook his head, “Probably because I went to bed too late last night.”
“What were you doing last night that made you sleep so late?” Su Xiaoli continued to inquire.
“Nothing much! Just fantasizing about the future,” Tang Feng answered.
“The future? Our future together?” Su Xiaoli became interested.
“Yes,” Tang Feng nodded, “I was imagining how to hold our wedding.”
“How else to hold it? Isn’t it usually held back home? Then find a larger hotel, and invite relatives and friends to attend the wedding,” Su Xiaoli was puzzled.
“That’s the traditional wedding. Ours has to be different,” Tang Feng replied.
“Different? How do you want it to be different?” Su Xiaoli asked.
“How about holding our wedding in the sky?” Tang Feng suggested.
“The sky? Do you mean on an airplane?” Su Xiaoli guessed.
“No,” Tang Feng shook his head, “I plan to build an aerial castle! Then we’ll hold our wedding in the castle!”
“An aerial castle? That sounds too sci-fi! I feel like it won’t be realized in my lifetime,” Su Xiaoli was surprised.
“I believe it will definitely happen! Of course, it requires a lot of effort from many people!” Tang Feng smiled slightly.
“Are you running a fever?” Su Xiaoli instinctively touched his forehead.
Tang Feng took the opportunity to grab her hand. Then, pulling her forward, he directly embraced her in his arms.
Su Xiaoli didn’t struggle; she quietly lay in Tang Feng’s arms, enjoying the peaceful moment.
Time passed by.
Neither of them knew how long it had been.
