Chapter 303: A Masterful Secret Affair
Seeing Long Qing’er’s concerned gaze, Ye Wenxin felt somewhat awkward and had to say, “Senior Sister, don’t misunderstand. It’s just that I’m not interested in Fairy Fengya, so she agreed to come up.”
After she finished speaking, Ye Wenxin felt like she was just talking nonsense. But Long Qing’er, unaware of the love-hate relationship between Ye Wenxin and Fairy Fengya, thought her own enthusiasm might have intimidated Fairy Fengya. So, she invited other true disciples who didn’t have flying magic items to join her.
Seven or eight flying magic items soared majestically, causing quite a stir when they reached the meeting point. Ye Wenxin’s use of the Phoenix Fire was particularly astonishing.
Ye Wenxin smiled and introduced this flying magic item to everyone, while hiding Jin Xiaoqin’s figure. Instinctively, the others also blocked Fairy Fengya from view, but as the flying magic items were so dazzling, no one noticed Jin Xiaoqin and Fairy Fengya.
Seeing that the situation had stabilized, Ye Wenxin scanned the surroundings. She originally wanted to see if Madam Yu and Qiao Ni would show up at this lively event, but then she remembered that the Azure Wings Sect had taken Green Isle Manor’s spot, which made her lose interest even more.
Instead, she spotted Xi Mengxuan of Beast Taming Garden in the crowd. Xi Mengxuan also looked at her and gave her a polite smile.
Other than that, Ye Wenxin didn’t see anyone else she knew, so she stood there quietly, waiting for the other important figures to arrive. After about half an hour, the important figures from the Ten Great Immortal Sects arrived fashionably late, each with pleasant smiles on their faces.
Apart from the Manor Lord of Green Island Manor and the already deceased Cave Master of Broken Dragon Cave, the eight sect leaders appeared together on their swords, creating a grand spectacle. The highest cultivation among them was only at ninth-stage Nascent Soul, which was, to Ye Wenxin, as easy to deal with as slicing a cucumber.
With this thought, she glanced at Fairy Fengya, who stood out awkwardly in the crowd.
Ye Wenxin thought that, in Fairy Fengya’s eyes, she must be nothing more than a cabbage, easily cut down in a few strokes. Perhaps because Ye Wenxin’s gaze had lingered too long, Fairy Fengya’s eyes looked over faintly, as if silently asking what she was doing.
“It’s nothing,” Ye Wenxin mouthed, her gaze continuing to search the crowd until she quickly found a few suspicious figures.
This was definitely the team the demon sects had sent. They were dressed in the uniforms of the God King Sect disciples, and had almost entirely taken over the God King Sect, leaving only a few core members.
The important figures on stage, still oblivious to all this, were discussing various irrelevant matters, making Ye Wenxin feel as if she were back on Earth, listening to yet another long-winded and tedious speech by the principal.
One sect leader speaking was already more than enough, but now each sect leader had to take a turn, wasting a tremendous amount of time. Jin Xiaoqin yawned and leaned on Ye Wenxin.
“Master, at least try to look like a master,” Ye Wenxin said, glancing at Jin Xiaoqin beside her. As she had reached the Nascent Soul stage early, Jin Xiaoqin still looked around twenty-six. Her long hair casually draped over her shoulders, her face free of makeup, giving her a natural beauty.
However, the way she talked and her actions were those of a complete tomboy.
Having seen many ladies from prominent families, Ye Wenxin found Jin Xiaoqin’s personality unique. Seeing the disdain in Ye Wenxin’s eyes, Jin Xiaoqin yawned again and said discontentedly, “When you were groping my butt, you didn’t think about respecting your master, did you?”
Ye Wenxin felt embarrassed, thinking that if she ever developed a bad habit of groping people, it would definitely be Jin Xiaoqin’s fault. Seeing Jin Xiaoqin bring up this matter, she couldn’t help but retort.
“I only did it once. How many times have you done it?”
Jin Xiaoqin blinked innocently. “I was just checking your physical condition.”
Ye Wenxin gave a half-hearted smile and added quietly, “If you were a man, you’d probably have had your hand chopped off by now.”
Jin Xiaoqin didn’t care. “Well, too bad no one could ever chop off my hand.” With this, she patted Ye Wenxin on the butt again. Bored, Ye Wenxin joined Jin Xiaoqin in making mischief.
Despite being two old ladies, Ye Wenxin felt they still acted quite young. As they played around, Jin Xiaoqin seemed to become a bit overwhelmed. Additionally, noticing the Sect Master’s gaze, she quickly left Ye Wenxin’s side and started wandering around.
Ye Wenxin didn’t bother to remind Jin Xiaoqin that she had already identified those demon sect members.
As she was not a part of either the demon or immortal sects, Ye Wenxin felt indifferent. As long as these people didn’t harm those she cared about, she didn’t mind what fate befell them.
As time passed, Jin Xiaoqin continued to wander, and a new figure approached Ye Wenxin’s empty side. Ye Wenxin was certain it was Fairy Fengya. Seeing Long Qing’er in the distance, also searching for suspicious figures in the crowd, she understood why Fairy Fengya was now standing beside her.
She seemed to have something to say, so she chose this moment to appear. But for some reason, even though they were just having a private conversation behind Jin Xiaoqin and Long Qing’er’s backs, it felt like they were having an affair.
Ye Wenxin pretended not to notice Fairy Fengya beside her, and mischievously reached out to touch her butt. “Master, why does your butt suddenly feel so good?”
To be honest, Fairy Fengya’s butt felt exceptionally nice. It didn’t seem to have much flesh, but the elasticity and feel were so nice, that Ye Wenxin couldn’t help but squeeze it.
After doing this, she turned around, pretending to have just noticed Fairy Fengya’s presence, and quickly withdrew her hand.
“Sorry, my hand slipped.” Ye Wenxin hid the smile in her eyes, suddenly feeling very clever. But when she looked back, she saw that Fairy Fengya hadn’t even glanced at her. She said calmly, “I thought you weren’t planning to let go.”
Faced with Ye Wenxin’s mischief, Fairy Fengya’s attitude remained indifferent. She didn’t care at all about Ye Wenxin groping her. Seeing Fairy Fengya like this made Ye Wenxin feel a bit unsettled. However, this time, instead of eating a Heart-Cleansing Pill, she took out a few bottles of them from her bag of holding.
“Here.” Ye Wenxin offered the bottles of Heart-Cleansing Pills. Fairy Fengya didn’t accept it. Just like she hadn’t even blinked at the sight of the Phoenix Fire, she certainly wouldn’t care about these pills.
Ye Wenxin then looked at the demon sect assassins that had been arranged this time. They were much more formidable than the previous batch. While Fairy Fengya could protect those around her, she might not be able to protect everyone.
She would need to use more qi, which would accelerate the risk of Qi Deviation.
