Chapter 23: If He’s Not Happy, No One Else Will Be! 

After making up his mind, Lu Sian went to look for relatives on his mother’s side of the family, specifically on the side of Chen Hui Ru’s father.

Wang Xiaoyun’s previous husband, Chen Jun, was a security guard at the Imperial Capital University’s security department before he passed away.

Lu Sian smiled slightly, “It doesn’t matter if you don’t know me. It’s enough that I know you.”

Chen Xiaobing straightened up, no longer smoking. He pointed at himself, “You know me?” He didn’t remember meeting anyone like him!

The man in front of him was dressed in clothes without a single patch, his skin pale and smooth like a girl’s, glowing under the sunlight. If it weren’t for his short hair and masculine voice, he might have doubted his gender.

A man who looked more beautiful than a woman—he could only be a pretty boy!

But Chen Xiaobing could sense that he was not a simple person.

Lu Sian didn’t bother to hide his identity. He directly said, “My name is Lu Sian, and I’m the biological son of your aunt’s new husband, Lu Zhao.”

When Chen Xiaobing heard the name Chen Hui Ru, he froze for a long time before realizing who Lu Sian was referring to.

Chen Xiaobing led Lu Sian to a secluded alley far from the Chen family house.

He asked warily, “Are you really going to give me a job?”

Lu Sian nodded. “As long as you do as I say, I’ll make sure you get a legitimate job once it’s done.”

Chen Xiaobing became suspicious. “What do you want me to do? I’ll tell you, I’m a good person—I don’t do illegal or immoral things!”

But to avoid revealing his other identity, he held back.

Since he had decided to look for Chen Xiaobing, he wasn’t going to beat around the bush anymore.

He got straight to the point.

“To be honest, I don’t have a good relationship with Wang Xiaoyun and her daughter. Recently, they did something that really upset me.

I’m not one to let things go when people wrong me. I’ll make sure to return the favor.

To leave a strong impression on Chen Hui Ru and her mother, I plan to take her job at the mechanical factory and give it to you.”

Chen Xiaobing didn’t expect Lu Sian to be so straightforward.

Chen Xiaobing was shocked. This person really knew his background well!

Chen Xiaobing looked at Lu Sian with a more serious expression than before.

Lu Sian nodded. “I need to hear that Chen Hui Ru was fired by noon tomorrow.” From his understanding of Chen Xiaobing, he knew this wouldn’t be difficult for him.

With the old man urgently wanting him sent away to the countryside, Lu Sian figured it would happen in just a few days.

He needed to make sure Chen Hui Ru lost her job before he left for the countryside.

“Once it’s done, I’ll find a way to get you a legitimate job. I keep my word.”

He asked, “How will I let you know once it’s done?”

“You don’t have to notify me. Someone will inform me.”

Once Chen Hui Ru loses her prideful job, she’ll definitely rush home to get help, so there’s no need for Chen Xiaobing to notify him.
