Jin Zhao almost thought she had misheard. When did she tell anyone she was Wei Ting’s fan?
But when she met Wei Ting’s scrutinizing gaze, she suddenly remembered something amiss.
She seemed to have just acted as a keyboard warrior online and used Wei Ting’s name as a shield.
“What!” Jin Zhao quickly took out her phone.
When she saw the glaring “Design Department—Jin Zhao” ID on the screen, her heart truly sank.
How could she forget that Jingda University, because of the diverse student body, was prone to cyberbullying and online violence, so everyone on the forum used their real names.
And she had just brazenly used her real name to say she was Wei Ting’s fan.
Sure enough, the comments had piled up several floors.
“Who said she likes Lu Sichen? I wouldn’t say things like ‘delete the picture’ to someone I like.”
“That insult was indeed harsh, stealing the insult and using it against my brother’s rival.”
“Isn’t the point that she said she’s Mr. Wei’s fan… How dare she? Mr. Wei is truly in danger now.”
“But putting Lu Sichen and Mr. Wei together, the poster deserves to be scolded by Jin Zhao. It’s indeed an insult.”
Jin Zhao was utterly hopeless, her legs feeling weak.
She simply rested her head on Wei Ting’s shoulder.
“I forgot it was real-name registration…” she explained weakly.
Before, she had always said she wanted to keep a distance from Wei Ting in public. Now, she had exposed herself as Wei Ting’s crazy fan.
Wei Ting felt the sudden weight on his shoulder, his body stiffened, and he looked down at her.
“My fan? Even arguing with people online for me?”
Jin Zhao raised her head and looked at him pitifully. “Does Wei Corporation refuse employees from publicly chasing stars—no, chasing the boss? Do I still have a chance to join Wei Corporation?”
She should have agreed to use the back door.
No wonder Qin Zhuli could get the backup so quickly. Now, no one in Wei Corporation’s PR department didn’t know her.
She single-handedly brought Wei Ting from financial news to gossip magazines. She couldn’t imagine how many news stories would appear when she went to Jingda tomorrow.
Wei Ting’s eyes darkened, the corners of his lips rising.
“Deal with your big news first, then we’ll talk about other things.”
Jin Zhao obediently nodded. “Okay—”

The next day, when she went to Jingda, Su Yi was in a great mood. Even if the plot didn’t go as planned, wasn’t Jin Zhao still her defeated opponent?
Even if the stupid Jin Zhao from before was gone, a smarter one would still be played around by her.
Public opinion was still fermenting. Her actions were already enough for the public to condemn Jin Zhao. Unexpectedly, Jin Zhao added fuel to the fire with Wei Ting’s matter.
It was really fate.
“Sichen, I’ve been a little busy lately and haven’t had time to spend with you. Are you angry?” Su Yi asked softly.
The bag collaboration should be finalized soon. She was about to become the first female star to have a big-name collaboration right after her debut.
“No.” Lu Sichen replied casually. He frowned, looking at the news on his phone.
Jin Zhao had clung to him before, but now she was publicly scolding him online, saying he was inferior to Wei Ting. He had met Mr. Wei once when he was negotiating a deal. He was indeed a top-tier figure.
But Jin Zhao might not even know Mr. Wei, yet she openly scolded him for Wei Ting.
He remembered when he first met Su Yi. Jin Zhao was a bit like Su Yi, who had looked down on him back then, which had attracted him.
Su Yi snuggled against him, acting coquettishly. “Then send me to Jingda today.”
Lu Sichen’s company was getting bigger and bigger. He had just bought a new car yesterday.
“Mm.” Lu Sichen instructed the driver to drive directly into Jingda.
Su Yi was ready to be comforted and envied by everyone as soon as she entered the school. Jin Zhao could only be her foil, to be despised.
She hadn’t received news about Wei Corporation’s lecture yesterday, but she was going today. After all, opportunities to interact with people of that class were rare.
She was still immersed in her joy when Lu Sichen saw a crowd gathered at the entrance of Jingda, all looking up at the giant screen at the entrance.
Lu Sichen glanced at it through the car window and suddenly pointed at it, asking,
“Yiyi, is that you on the screen?”
“Huh? What?”
Su Yi was puzzled. When she opened the car door and got out, she saw everyone looking at her. She looked up in confusion.
The screen was looping a familiar video, focusing on the part where she saw Jin Zhao walking over and deliberately bumped into her, knocking her phone to the ground.
Especially her line, “I didn’t expect Miss Jin to be so rich that she still wants others to pay for a phone,” was made into a sped-up, looping clip.
She was still wondering when a particularly eye-catching red Ferrari stopped opposite Lu Sichen’s car, very arrogant.
The door opened, and Jin Zhao, in high heels, got out of the car.
She wore a form-fitting red dress, with waist-length curly hair. Before she even reached them, a refreshing rose fragrance wafted over.
“I spent the whole night editing this. Are you satisfied?” Jin Zhao tilted her head, looking at the pale-faced Su Yi.
Everyone was stunned by Jin Zhao’s aura and beauty, whispering to each other.
“If she deliberately bumped into someone, she should compensate. I don’t know what that pitiful look is about.”
“How do you know Su Yi did it on purpose? Maybe it was all planned by Jin Zhao.”
“You again?” Lu Sichen stood in front of Su Yi, speaking with confidence.
One woman targeting another woman only proves jealousy. Su Yi was just a poor nanny’s daughter. The only thing Jin Zhao could be jealous of was him.
A perfect boyfriend.
“Forgot to slap you again?” Jin Zhao felt annoyed seeing Lu Sichen. She hated him the most when she read the novel.
Arrogant, domineering, and patriarchal, he often looked down on the female lead, thinking she was just a parasitic vine clinging to him, his mind full of work and sex.
Now that she’s in this world and sees Lu Sichen in person, thank you, even more disgusting.
“Sichen, I really didn’t mean to bump into Miss Jin that day…”
Lu Sichen’s self-esteem was satisfied. He comforted Su Yi domineeringly, “It’s okay, it’s just a phone. We’ll compensate you.”
Su Yi nestled in his arms, her eyes looking at Jin Zhao.
Jin Zhao ignored their provocative gazes and immediately responded, “Really? She didn’t tell you that she also damaged my bag? 13 million. I’m being merciful by letting you off the hook for the phone.”
“13 million?! Jin Zhao, don’t push your luck.” Lu Sichen felt a little embarrassed and looked coldly at the person in his arms.
Su Yi felt uneasy under his gaze.
Jin Zhao sneered at his expression. “What? A small amount becomes a large amount, and Mr. Lu gets angry? Didn’t you just tell your girlfriend it was okay?”
“I was just teasing you two. I don’t need your paltry sum.”
“Miss Su, use this money to get your eyes checked.”
Lu Sichen felt the awkwardness of his secret being exposed and felt humiliated.
As they were at a stalemate, a black car suddenly brushed past Jin Zhao’s red sports car, leaving a small scratch.
Jin Zhao was about to turn around to see who was causing trouble when she saw the familiar license plate.
? What does he want?
In full view of everyone, Qin Zhuli got out of the car and walked to the car window. The window slowly rolled down.
Revealing the man’s sharp and clean profile, a straight nose, and a noble temperament.
Qin Zhuli looked serious and businesslike. “Sir, we accidentally scratched a Jingda student’s car.”
Wei Ting’s eyes were cold and indifferent. He casually scanned the people present, his aura oppressive.
Then, a cold, slender hand reached out, the distinct knuckles holding a black card, seemingly handing it to Qin Zhuli impatiently.
“Compensate her.”

Long time no see, Mr. Wei, showering money again.
