“What was that…”

I stood there, shocked at the sheer overwhelming power.

“Keigo! Behind!!”

Juno shouted as he pointed at something behind me.

When I looked behind me, I saw the Kobold King, riding an Armored Lizard, charging towards me at an incredible speed. It seemed after seeing me unleashed that Glacies Nova before, the Kobold King decided to target me now. His long tongue lolled out to the side and he had a very demonic expression on his face. He looked very menacingly intimidating. To be honest, if I didn’t have Fear Resistance skill, I would be petrified on the spot from fear, unable to move even if I wanted to.

Then, from the corner of my vision, I saw a shadow flickering. An idea came to my mind. If my enemy didn’t have any opening, then I just needed to create that opening myself. 

“Well, usually, I’d definitely avoid doing this kind of thing but oh well…”

I drew my Hellfire Sword out and charged towards the Kobold King.

The Kobold King clearly didn’t expect I’d be charging at it head-on. Flustered, he quickly stood up and swung his battle axe horizontally towards me.

In response, I slid under it, narrowly avoiding its axe attack. I still took some damage from the shockwave of his blow though. If I hadn’t cast Stone Skin before, I would have sustained a significant injury.

But, this is my chance.

At the same time, the Blue Wolves that I had spotted earlier, all of them leaped onto the Kobold King. Of course, I didn’t expect the Blue Wolves pack to defeat the Kobold King but at least, the Kobold King must be very distracted by them now. Not to mention, the Kobold King had just swung his battle axe, so his side was wide open.

Seizing this opportunity, I leaped onto the Kobold King’s chest and infused all of my MP and vitality into the fang.

For some reason, a series of images flashed before my eyes. Yurina-san, Tanya, Ash, and everyone I had encountered in Resta, their images appeared in my mind.

Apparently, I lost my consciousness for a split second. However, even after I regained my consciousness, I still couldn’t make out the situation clearly. My ears were ringing and my vision was blurred. But, one thing for sure, I was still clenching the fang in my hand.
