Chapter 244
ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー
Because of the sudden chaos caused by the monster invasion, Heinrich was staying at my house for some reason. Rather than staying at my place, he should return to his mansion instead but apparently, there were various complicated issues that prevented him from doing so.
Although he was already disowned, he was still the son of a noble family, a noble family who governed the town even. So I allowed him to stay to avoid further trouble.
However, I didn’t have any intention of letting him stay for free. Just like the last time he stayed over, he either had to help me with the store or with the workshop.
And on one particular day….
Just like usual, a butler with white hair, came and begged Heinrich to return home. I believed his name was Jill-san.
Heinrich had brought the testicles of Red Grizzly and he had asked me to make Egil Recovery Potion but since he was going to help me at the workshop anyway, I told him to make it himself. So in order to level up his alchemy skill, he started mass producing low level potions.
Heinrich was doing his best, leveling up his alchemy skill so he could make Egil Recovery potion by himself but Jill-san was coming everyday, practically kneeling on the floor. Of course when Jill-san acted like that, Heinrich would become distracted so Heinrich treated Jill-san coldly…. This kind of exchange happened almost everyday.
I felt bad for Jill-san so for the time being, I decided to bring him to our reception area so I could listen to what he had to say.
Even though this person looked so cool on the battlefield… With his dual swords, slashing the enemy from the horseback…. But now, he looks so pitiful…..
I was preparing herbal tea made from marble leaves with relaxing properties to calm Jill-san, who was still in tears when the door to our shop suddenly swung open with great force.
“Ah, welcome-“
“Heinrich!!×〇××△!!!! “
An elegant-looking young lady, with mannerism befitting that of a noble, called Heinrich’s name over and over again. This young lady looked pretty strong-willed to say the least. I glanced at Jill-san and to my surprise, he was deathly pale. He was shaking to his bones even.
“M-My apologies but…”
I unconsciously tried speaking formally because it seemed this situation would only make Jill-san’s blood pressure rise even more.
In a situation like this, as the owner of this shop, I should’ve put my foot down and asked her firmly,”How may I help you?” but I felt it would be better if I did not get involved in their problem so I pretended to be tending to the potted plants, like I didn’t exist.
Jill-san’s desperate attempts to block her were in vain. The woman, bearing fierce determination, continued forward, heading towards the workshop while repeatedly calling for Heinrich’s name.
“Good grief…. My herbal tea that I’ve brewed is going to become cold…”
I stood there, holding a teapot in my hand while wearing a cute apron with a picture of an adorable wolf pup embroidered on it.
I placed the teapot set on the table and wiped my hands with a towel before following the determined young lady and Jill-san. After all, there was no point in me staying here.

T/N: You know, MC is not depicted as someone handsome or pretty. He’s just average but I think it’s such a chad move for him to stay true to his preference. He likes cute things so he will wear cute things.
