The Egg Gave Birth To A Baby

Ah Er Sen was standing by the door. His expression looked quite relaxed. It should be that Yang Han was in better condition.

 Su Ce and Tan Tu also breathed a sigh of relief and entered the room with Rui Ensi.

 As soon as I entered the door, I was shocked by the scene.

 Yang Han was indeed fine. Although he was sitting on the bed and covered with animal skins, his face was actually pretty good, even rosy.  But Yang Han’s eyes were focused on a basket.

 And in the basket, there is a snow-white, smooth, shiny, jade-like egg… egg.

He couldn’t help but lean over, stretched out his fingers and gently rubbed the egg skin then ran back as if he was frightened, and said in Su Ce’s ear, “Hey, Ah Ce, it’s hard! It also seems to be very fragile. I was even afraid of breaking it accidentally…”

 Su Ce was a little dumbfounded, and patted his hand, “…Don’t move, listen to Ka Mai and Ah Er Sen.” To be honest, this was the first time he knew that there was such a thing as laying eggs, and he didn’t know if there was such a thing. If Tan Tu is really clumsy and breaks it, the responsibility will be too great.

 Sure enough, after Ah Er Sen hugged the egg carefully, he put it back as if he was afraid, and placed the basket next to Yang Han. Yang Han was ordered not to get out of bed. When he saw his child, even if it was just an egg, he looked at it again and again happily.

 Su Ce was also very happy for his senior when he saw his current appearance.

 After all, with the connection of a child, senior has completely become a person in this world and Ah Er Sen will be his partner and family for the rest of his life.

 Ah Er Sen’s eyes flashed softly, and then he turned to look at Ka Mai.

 Ka Mai understood and smiled and said, “Ah Er Sen, don’t worry, Ah Han is in very good condition and has not been injured at all. He only needs to lie in bed for two days and there will be no more minor pain.” That’s the advantage of laying eggs, unlike Su Ce, who didn’t feel better after lying on the bed for so long.

 Then, he looked at the egg and added, “The child is fine too. Judging from the eggshell, the child’s development is very healthy. Now we just need to wait until he breaks out of the shell and there will be no problem.” He was still in the mood to joke, “Speaking of which, you should thank Ah Er Sen, otherwise the eggshell wouldn’t be so beautiful!”

 Ah Er Sen nodded, feeling much better.

 Ka Mai was also in a good mood. After all, he had been a witch doctor for so many years and had delivered babies to many females. But because of this, he has seen many sad females.  He also saw a lot of bad situations when children were born but these two families are different. Su Ce was raised very healthy by Tan Tu and gave birth to three cute and strong little males at the same time. He actually survived the most difficult first year and can still see the little males are lively and active. Yang Han is also very good. The most important thing when laying eggs is to consume enough calcium. Judging from the good-looking eggs, they obviously did a very good job in this part and Yang Han is also in good health. Even if laying eggs is much easier than giving birth to a baby, it doesn’t mean that the body’s vitality is completely intact. It is quite rare for a female like Yang Han to look good right after giving birth.

 After explaining the situation, Ka Mai teased a few more cubs. They were now put down by Su Ce and were playing while huddled together. Ka Mai happened to rub their heads one by one.

 The little cubs were rubbed so hard that they staggered around. Then they all swung their tails and swooped onto the shoulders of Su Ce and Tan Tu, causing Ka Mai to laugh again.

 Su Ce comforted the little lions, looked back at Ka Mai, and asked, “Ka Mai, are you leaving this egg like this?”

 Ka Mai shook his head, “Of course it will hatch.”

 Ah Er Sen also frowned slightly. He was the only snake orc in this tribe and he didn’t know what to do next…

 But Ka Mai knew everyone was in embarrassment, so he smiled gently and said, “Don’t worry, as long as Ah Han holds the child in his arms every day, it will be fine. The child will come out on his own later.”

 When Su Ce heard this, he felt a little relaxed.  He was still thinking, luckily it was different from those who kept pet snakes on earth. Otherwise, it would have been too troublesome to find glass tanks, sand, and adjust the temperature and prevent moisture. Moreover, this hatching was not  for a pet, if the pet fails to hatch successfully, it will probably be regretted for a while, but this is a biological child. If it fails… Su Ce does not dare to think about the consequences.

 After explaining this, Ka Mai left. However, surprises always come one after another.

 According to Ka Mai, it should hatch in three to five days, but when five days passed, the egg showed no reaction at all.

 Yang Han and Ah Er Sen were extremely worried, but they did not dare to take the initiative. Finally, Ah Er Sen wrapped the snake egg tightly with the animal skin and took Yang Han and the Tan Tu family to Ka Mai’s residence.

 When Ka Mai opened the door and saw this group of people, he opened his eyes in surprise, “…Why are you here? Isn’t the child coming out in the next two days…” He paused, “Is it the child…  “

 Several people quickly entered the door, and then Ah Er Sen revealed the snake egg, which was still a complete one without any cracks.

 Yang Han was also a little anxious, so he asked, “Ka Mai, it’s been five days, but the child still doesn’t respond at all, what should I do?”

 He had some doubts about laying an egg, but he still liked it because it was his own. It’s just that something abnormal happened now, which had to make him make very bad plans in his heart…

 Ka Mai was stunned for a moment, then hurriedly checked.

 He looked at it carefully for a while, then breathed out slowly. When he raised his head, he realized that he was surrounded by many people.

 Su Ce felt a little relieved when he saw that Ka Mai didn’t look bad.

 On the other hand, Yang Han and Ah Er Sen were confused when they were concerned, and they still looked anxious.

 Ka Mai waved his hand and said, “It’s okay, the child is healthy. It’s just that he may be a little weak and can’t get out on his own. I’ll just use the potion to help him.”

 Yang Han was a little hesitant, “…If he can’t get out on his own, is it because he was born with something bad?”

 Ka Mai pondered for a moment, “Not necessarily, it’s possible that the egg shell is too hard… But don’t worry, judging from the condition of the egg, there will be no problem with the child’s health.”

 After receiving such a positive answer, Yang Han and Ah Er Sen breathed a sigh of relief.

 After finishing speaking, Ka Mai walked to a cabinet, took out a tightly stuffed bamboo tube, opened it and smelled it. Suddenly, a strong pungent smell spread throughout the room. Ka Mai came over with the bamboo tube and said with a smile, “Fortunately, the potion I made before is still there, and it works well.”

 Several people came to the front of the egg together. Ka Mai waved his hand, “You guys stand back a little, you will be hurt if you are touched by the potion.” When they heard it, they all took a few steps back. Then he carefully twisted a long strip of animal skin, dip the front end into the bamboo tube, and then gently rub it back and forth on the top of the snake egg.

 Under the eyes of everyone, the area where it was wiped glowed a little yellow, so Ka Mai quickly moved the animal skin away and carefully observed the reaction of the eggshell.

Fortunately, a hole was not made in the eggshell all at once, but it seemed to become thinner very slowly as it dried.

 Ka Mai stretched out his finger and touched the yellow eggshell. He found that the stickiness disappeared, and then pressed down gently.

 Almost immediately, a very subtle sound came from the eggshell, as if something was hitting the net.

 Ka Mai’s face showed joy, “The child is cooperating inside!”

 Yang Han held his breath, he was a little nervous.

 Speaking of which, it was true that he liked this child very much, but thinking that a snake would come out of it later made him feel a little complicated.

 Tan Tu and Rui Ensi watched out of pure curiosity, Su Ce felt curiosity plus joy, and Ah Er Sen felt pure joy and expectation. At this moment, everyone’s eyes were focused there.

 Then, the sound in the eggshell became stronger and stronger, slowly but gradually increasing in strength.

 Finally, with the joint efforts of Ka Mai and the child in the eggshell, a small crack suddenly opened from the yellow eggshell that had been smeared with the potion.

 Immediately afterwards, a small fist was punched from inside.
