Chapter 11 Welcome to “Bath Cafe Hot”! Part 1

“What, you were attacked by a slime?!”

When I returned to the store, Luke immediately greeted me. When I told him what had happened in town, his face turned pale.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine.”

“Did something shocking happen?”

“I’m fine.”

“I wish I’d been there.”

“I told you I’m fine.”

Usually Luke would say mean things to me, but at times like this he would worry. A little too much.

When I was little, I would get too hot from taking a bath and he would make a big fuss about me. Compared to Luke, Lina was much calmer.

I clapped my hands together to calm him down.

 “More importantly, Luke. We have customers, so I’d like you to guide the men to the men’s bath.”

“Huh? Customers?”

“Yeah. We defeated the slime together with natural salt, and we became a little friendly. I thought I’d take the opportunity to let them take a bath.”

“……Why?”

Luke pondered for a while, then asked a question.

“No, I don’t get it. You defeated a slime with salt? You became friends with the person you defeated it together with, and then you decided to take a bath together? Huh?”

Lina tapped Luke on the shoulder, who was still confused.

“Luke.”

“Why?”

Ignoring the two of them talking, she invited in the customers who were waiting outside the store.

 “Is this the women’s ‘bath cafe’?”

“I don’t know what ‘bath’ means, but it looks like a nice place.”

“I thought it would be a more suspicious place.”

About 10 people came to the shop. The ratio of women to men was about half and half. Most of the people who helped us defeat the slime came to the shop.

“And there are so many of them…!”

Luke was surprised and whispered to Lina.

“Lina, what’s going on? We’re getting customers all of a sudden.”

“I don’t know why this happened either, but I have no choice but to accept it. Lady Lydia is happy that we’ve got our first customers. Isn’t that the best thing?”

“…I guess so.”

Luke raised his hand and said, “Okay.”

 “Well, men, please come over here. I’ll show you around!”

“Women, please come over here. I’ll show you around.”

“Oh, wait a moment.”

When I called out, everyone turned to look at me.

“Since I’m here, I’ll put in some bath salts.”

As a thank you for defeating the slime, a nearby store owner gave me some new natural salt. Since customers have come all the way, I’ll use it.

“Wait a moment.”

I immediately took out the ingredients. I put the vegetable oil in a container and dripped in the aroma oil before mixing in the natural salt.

Actually, it would be better to let it sit for about half a day, but this time there was no choice.

I went to the bathroom and recited the easy-going phrase, “Come, water heated by the power of fire,” Lukewarm water immediately appeared in the bathtub.

I added the homemade bath salts and stirred the water. As I was waiting for the bath salts to dissolve, I heard a voice from behind me.

 “Wait, if you put salt in it and I touch that water, I won’t shrink like slime, right?”

One of the customers came into the bathroom, asking, “What are you doing?”

I answered with a smile.

“It’s the opposite. If you enter, the impurities in your body are detoxified, and it has a beautifying effect.”

“Oh!”

She was surprised and quickly returned to her original place.

“The place we are about to enter has a beautifying effect!”

“Eh, really?”

“Is this a place for getting beautiful?”

“Oh, no. It makes my heart flutter.”

The voices of the women could be heard from outside the bathroom. The men also said,

“I’m not interested.”

“There’s nothing better than beautiful skin, so I’ll accept it.”

They were exercising their mysterious tsundere attitude…

 While listening to these voices, I continued to stir the bath water.

After making sure that the bath salts had completely dissolved, I asked Lina and Luke to guide the customers to the bath.

I want to see everyone’s reaction to the bath, but as the owner of the Bath Cafe, I have to prepare food.

“I feel so relaxed…”

“I can’t believe something so wonderful exists…”

“My stiff shoulders are gone…”

Everyone was in a daze. The bath was so pleasant that they were all soft and squishy.

Some of them had water dripping from their hair, probably because they hadn’t wiped it all off.

“Oh… you smell like flowers.”

“Don’t you look prettier too?”

It was also nice to see the elderly couple blush as they said this.

 “Welcome back everyone. I’ve prepared an after bath meal, so please come and enjoy.”

“Meal?”

“Really?”

Now it’s time for the “cafe” part of the “bath cafe” to take action.
