Chapter 14 I Can’t Find That Tool!

“A towel won’t do?”

“It’s not that it’s no good, but… I want a magic tool that can dry my hair faster.”

There are many magic tools in this world. Refrigerated boxes that use ice magic, air blowers that use wind magic, and other things that resemble refrigerators and electric fans exist as magic tools.

These magic tools have magic stones built in that can be obtained by defeating monsters. By imbuing them with magic in advance, anyone can easily use the magic tools.

Also, magic stones that have already been imbued with water magic are cheap and are on the market, so even ordinary citizens who can’t use magic can easily take a bath.

However, there is no magic tool called a “hair dryer” that can dry hair quickly.

Until now, I’ve managed to do it with towels, but if I can’t wipe it off properly, the bath water gets cold.

That’s why I’m thinking about making one…

The only way to get a magic stone is by defeating monsters, and since all of them have been sold directly to magic tool laboratories or manufacturers, it is almost impossible for ordinary people to purchase one.

“Wow. That seems like a useful tool. I thought I could do everything with just a towel.”

Luke nodded in admiration.

Tools that were common in the previous world are often considered rare in this world. I think it would be useful to have a hair dryer, but no one has thought of it yet.

“Actually, Lydia-sama, don’t you think it would be better to make it look a little more stylish?”

“Huh? How?”

“For example, something like this.”

He drew something like a dragon’s wing on the part of the hair dryer that blows air. It’s something that boys would like.

The two of us got into a heated argument, and each of us started drawing their own designs for the hair dryer on paper.

 A dragon-shaped hair dryer, a hair dryer with angel wings, a gun-shaped hair dryer, a pretty hair dryer with lots of hearts…

The two of us mass-produced things that made people want to say we were elementary school kids. What is this?

“Wait a second. This one is definitely cooler.”

“This one is cuter.”

I was so engrossed in the action that I didn’t notice the figure standing with her arms crossed behind me.

“Lydia-sama, Luke. What are you slacking off on?”

“Ah.”

I turned to face the gruff voice and saw Lina smiling. However, her eyes were not smiling.

 “I was trying my best to clean the bath. I didn’t think you two were playing around with graffiti.”

“Oh, no. Lina’s mad. Seriously.”

“Oh, no.”

“I’m not mad at all. I just thought you were playing around even though you hadn’t finished cleaning.”

“Sorry.”

After that, I asked Lina to rest, and Luke and I worked hard to clean up and tidy up.

When we spend time like this, it’s hard to tell who’s the master.

But in the end, it’s nice to have her treat me like a friend.
