Chapter 7: The World of Two
Suddenly, when Lin You saw Qin Lang, her mind went blank, and she found herself at a loss for words, standing foolishly at the door.
They had been intimate many times and had shared many honest moments, but every time she saw him, she still felt an inexplicable tension and shyness.
Qin Lang, on the other hand, appeared to be in a good mood, with a smile spreading across his lips and the corners of his eyes, seemingly oblivious to her embarrassment and awkwardness. He naturally took Lin You’s hand, their fingers intertwining, leading her into the house while gently closing the door behind them.
The moment Qin Lang’s hand touched Lin You’s, her body felt like it was pierced by an electric current, a tingling sensation quickly spreading throughout her being. This feeling left her somewhat flustered because they had never held hands like this before, their physical interactions had only included Qin Lang’s affectionate embraces.
However, Qin Lang was unaware of her feelings. Upon entering, he noticed many warm little details in the room. A beautiful hook was hanging on the door with a set of keys, a delicate tablecloth covered the dining table, the aroma of cooked food filled the air.
Qin Lang couldn’t help but turn to Lin You and ask, “What did you cook? It smells amazing!”
“Braised pork. Do you want to try some?” she said, pulling him toward the table, breaking free from his hand to fetch a bowl of rice from the kitchen.
“Why did you divide the braised pork into two portions? Are you planning to give it to someone?” he asked.
Lin You placed the bowl of rice in front of him, handed him chopsticks, and sat down across from him, responding, “I made too much, so I was planning to give some to Sister in law.”
“Sister in law? Which sister in law?” Qin Lang asked, taking a bite of his food.
“It’s the captain’s wife. She’s been coming over in the evenings these past few days,” Lin You answered honestly, sharing how Sister in law had taken care of her.
“Should we buy something to thank them for their hospitality these days?” Lin You suggested.
“Sure, let’s do it tomorrow,” Qin Lang replied as he ate. Watching him devour his food, Lin You wondered if he hadn’t eaten for several days. Despite his fast and hearty eating, he was not at all rude, instead, it made her feel that the food was particularly appetizing.
Qin Lang quickly finished one bowl of rice and went to the kitchen to get another bowl. He came out and asked, “Is this all you cooked?”
Lin You nodded, thinking to herself that she hadn’t known he would be back today, and that two bowls of rice would be too much for her alone. Knowing his appetite, she casually said, “There’s still some noodles in the fridge, do you want me to cook more?”
Qin Lang looked at her, considering, and replied, “No need, there are plenty of dishes, right? Are you still planning to take some to Sister in law?”
“Maybe not. You should eat it all,” she said.
After dinner, Qin Lang took the initiative to wash the dishes, while Lin You cleaned the table and then walked to the balcony to wash her hands.
When Qin Lang finished putting away the dishes and washing his hands, Lin You had just come in from the balcony. Their eyes met, and Lin You found herself at a loss for words again.
Qin Lang raised an eyebrow and, with a mischievous smile, stepped forward to embrace her tightly, his posture one of complete possession. His hands found their way to her slender waist, and as he squeezed a little, he noticed she seemed to have lost a bit of weight. He frowned slightly, dissatisfied, a woman should be a bit fuller to be healthy.
Lin You tried to squirm a bit, but it was futile; he held her as if he were trying to merge their bodies into one. She thought to herself that he was at it again and quietly complained, “Qin Lang, you’re too tight, I can’t breathe.”
He loosened his grip just a little but still held her firmly, not letting her escape. He rested his head on her shoulder, feeling her soft body and inhaling her scent.
Soon, Qin Lang grew unsatisfied with such a simple embrace. His lips began to nibble on her earlobe, causing Lin You to gasp. The moment Qin Lang heard her sound, his whole body reacted instantly. He swept her up in his arms and hurried toward the bedroom, placing her on the bed and immediately pinning her down.
Their bodies pressed against each other, their faces very close; he could even see the fine hairs on her face and smell her faint fragrance. His breathing became heated, and unable to restrain himself, he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers. He noticed the glistening in her eyes, the blush on her face, and the tiny beads of sweat forming on her nose, her adorable appearance making it hard for him to resist as he lowered his head to capture her lips, entangling his tongue with hers, greedily savoring her essence and exploring every inch.
His actions were both domineering and tender, leaving her feeling numb all over. Her head swirled as she completely forgot to resist. Unconsciously, her hands wrapped around his neck, and she began to respond, forgetting the unease she felt inside.
Sensing her response, his gaze became fervent, and his lips traveled down to her neck. However, because her shirt was always in the way, he yanked it hard, and the buttons flew off, landing on the floor with a crisp sound that jolted the two immersed in their passion back to reality.
At that moment, Qin Lang also saw that she was wearing a tiny halter top underneath, which clung to her perfect chest. Although her delicate waist was concealed, it fit snugly, revealing her slender, fair arms.
Qin Lang thought to himself that it was a good thing she wore a shirt over it, otherwise, he wouldn’t have been able to control himself.
Seeing her dazed expression, he couldn’t help but lower his head and kiss her lips again. He loved the way her eyes were filled with only him. Soon, they sank back into each other’s desire, and just as they were about to take things further, a clear knock sounded at the door.
Lin You glanced at the clock out of the corner of her eye and guessed it was Sister in law arriving. She hurried to push Qin Lang away from her, but it was as if he hadn’t heard the sound at all, he showed no sign of wanting to get up and answer the door, still igniting passion all over her body.
The knocking at the door was persistent, forcing Qin Lang to get up to open it. He ruffled his hair haphazardly, threw on a shirt, and looked at Lin You’s slightly drooling mouth and the moisture in her eyes with satisfaction as he quickly walked to the door and opened it.
Just as Lin You had suspected, when Qin Lang opened the door, he saw Sister in law standing there.
At that moment, Qin Lang’s eyes blazed with fire, and Lin You was nowhere to be seen in the room. Sister in law immediately understood, aware of what the two had been doing at that moment. She quickly said, “Qin Lang, you’re finally back!”
Qin Lang raised an eyebrow slightly and responded, “Yes, Sister in law, is something wrong?”
Sister in law smiled awkwardly and replied, “Actually, it’s nothing urgent, I was just a little worried and came over to check. I thought you hadn’t returned yet. Now that you’re back, you didn’t even let me know.”
Qin Lang sensed her implication and felt some of his displeasure dissipate. He gratefully said, “Thank you, Sister in law, for taking care of Lin You these past few days. I will definitely come over to thank you properly another day. The captain hasn’t met me yet, so please don’t blame him.”
Sister in law waved her hands repeatedly, indicating it was unnecessary, and hurriedly said goodbye before leaving.
Qin Lang returned to the room and found Lin You staring at her ruined shirt in a daze. Her eyes had regained clarity, devoid of the earlier desire. Qin Lang realized that they could not continue, because he could only lure her in when she was still in that dazed state, unresponsive to his return. Once she regained her clarity, she would only reject him.
He had been pondering whether her thoughts of divorce stemmed from the fact that every time they met, he only sought her out. As for any other reasons, he truly couldn’t think of them. He simply could not control himself when he saw her, and she had always cooperated as well.
He moved forward, yanked the shirt from her hands, and tossed it into the trash bin. Lin You felt it was a pity, but there was nothing she could do, it was beyond repair.
She turned her gaze away from Qin Lang, instead looking at the ruined shirt.
Qin Lang inwardly chuckled bitterly as he embraced her and sat down on the edge of the bed. He said, “It’s just a piece of clothing, I’ll buy you another one later.” Lin You thought to herself that he had never bought her anything, but she kept her mouth shut.
