Chapter 3 – Her Golden Finger Arrives

“Ah!”

The two siblings, who had been hiding behind the door to watch, were knocked to the ground by the force and clutched their chests, fearfully watching Qin Yian retreat.

Qin Yian swung her stick at the two of them, eliciting screams more pitiful than a pig being slaughtered.

Qin Jinbao trembled in fear beside her, covering his face and turning away, not daring to let out a peep. He held his breath, trying to minimize his presence.

Qin Yian washed her hands and went to Liu Guifang’s room to check something.

Then she went into the kitchen, closed the door, and took some pastries from the cupboard to eat. She also found some malt extract and boiled some eggs. After satisfying her hunger, the pain in her head eased, and her tense nerves finally relaxed.

Qin Yian took out the pendant she had snatched from Qin Niannian’s neck.
