Chapter 5 – Is This Eating Shit?

“Thank you, I’m fine.”

Qin Yian shook her head firmly and turned to the police officers, pointing at the people on the ground. “Officers, you came at the right time. I’m reporting them for human trafficking. All of them are human traffickers. These people suddenly broke in and tried to take me away, and Qin Dagui, Liu Guifang, and the rest… they’re all human traffickers too.

I just found out that I’m not their biological child, but a stolen child. Now that I’ve discovered the truth, they’re furious and have teamed up to get rid of me. These strangers are the buyers they found to deal with me. Luckily, I fought back and waited for you. You have to help me!”

As Qin Yian spoke, she exposed the accumulated injuries on her body to the police officers.

The police officers were moved by the sight of her injuries.

The neighbors who had gathered to watch, upon hearing Qin Yian’s words and seeing the numerous injuries on her body, were all in an uproar, discussing the matter among themselves.

“No wonder the Qin family beats and scolds Yian every day. It turns out she’s not their biological child, but a stolen child!”

“That’s right. They treated her like a servant from the old society. I’ve always wondered why they were so cruel to her. Now everything makes sense. It turns out they’re all damned human traffickers.”

Someone spat on the ground, “Real parents would never do such a heartless thing. They’re clearly human traffickers. Look at those three, their eyes are so shifty and evil. The police should definitely investigate them.”

Qin Yian immediately told the police, “Officer, listen to her. She admitted it herself. They paid eight hundred yuan to buy me. I don’t even know them, and I have no idea when I got married. All the neighbors know that I don’t even have a boyfriend. Besides, Liu Guifang and her husband stole me. Now they want to sell me again. Officer, they’re using the dowry as an excuse to cover up their human trafficking crime.”

The neighbors nodded in agreement. “Yes, yes, we can testify that what Qin Yian said is true. We’ve never heard of her having a boyfriend or getting married.”

“You, you…” Zhao Xiaohong was speechless and turned to shout at Liu Guifang, “Liu Guifang, you…”

“Hmph, there’s nothing to say. You heartless human traffickers!” The onlookers were filled with righteous indignation, and someone secretly threw a stone, hitting Qin Dagui on the head. The stone bounced off and hit Liu Guifang on the forehead.

“Ah!” Liu Guifang cried out in pain, waved her hands wildly, and stumbled to her feet, shouting angrily, “You all shut up! Qin Yian is my biological daughter. You’re the human traffickers. It’s normal for a family to scold their children. I was just disciplining my own child. Why do you all care so much?”

Liu Guifang realized that Qin Yian knew something she shouldn’t. She couldn’t let this little bitch keep talking.

“And me, I lost a tooth,” Qin Dagui pulled the knocked-out tooth from his mouth. There was a wriggling parasite on it, but he didn’t notice. He was too busy explaining to the police, “Comrade, we are indeed her biological parents. It’s normal for parents to discipline their children when they’re disobedient. Look at her, she’s so disrespectful, she even hit her parents. We found a good family for her, but she treated us like this. It’s so heartbreaking.”

The couple’s words were so disgusting that everyone covered their mouths and retreated.

“Oh my god, did Liu Guifang and Qin Dagui just eat something?”

The onlookers had been ignoring the smell earlier, but now that they saw something coming out of their mouths, they were disgusted.

“Oh my god, they actually ate shit!”

“Human traffickers are so disgusting!”

The crowd, covering their noses and cursing, continued to watch the spectacle. It was a “flavorful” scene, one that people couldn’t tear themselves away from, no matter how strong the stench was.

The entire courtyard was in chaos.

The police officer, leading Qin Yi’an, took a few steps back and then shouted, “Everyone, quiet down! Whoever causes trouble will be taken away. You all, separate!”

The scene immediately fell silent.

“Look at what you all are like. Now, listen to my instructions. If I haven’t told anyone to speak, no one is allowed to speak,” Officer Xu, who was leading the team, motioned for Qin Yi’an to speak first.

Qin Yi’an was not at all polite and once again repeated everything she had said earlier, leaving nothing out in her report.

Before she had finished speaking, Liu Gui Fang beside her hurriedly interrupted, “Comrade, that’s not true, I don’t admit to it…”

“Shut up, did I tell you to speak?” Officer Xu shouted, furrowing his brows. He then turned to Qin Yi’an and calmly asked, “Please continue.”

“Comrade, everything I said is the truth. I have evidence to prove that they deliberately stole from me. This time, they were going to sell me because they found out that my real parents from Beijing had come to look for me. They wanted to have their own daughter replace me and go back to claim the family, living a good life. They even took the money they got from trying to sell me and used it to buy Qin Jinbao a job at the supply and marketing cooperative. The money is all spent, and I have evidence of the purchase as well. Please wait for me.”

Qin Yi’an turned around, entered Liu Gui Fang and her husband’s room, and came back out holding a large iron box.

Liu Gui Fang and Qin Da Gui’s expressions changed dramatically when they saw this, and they were so agitated that they tried to rush over and snatch it. However, a police officer who had been keeping a close watch on them kicked them over, controlling them in the same way as Liu Bing had been controlled, and also managed to control the others on the ground: “Everyone, behave yourselves.”

Wang Dajun, the neighbor who had brought the police, had a clever little daughter named Wang Xinxin. She was considerate enough to bundle up a pile of dirty socks that had been left on the laundry table in the yard, and shoved them into the mouths of the restrained Liu Gui Fang and Qin Da Gui, sealing them tightly. When she saw that the police officer wasn’t paying attention to her, she happily covered the mouths of the others as well, before washing her hands and standing to the side, winking at Qin Yi’an.
