Chapter 6: Ji Xiaobai Teases His Old Man Online
“Then I’ll go take a shower first.”
“Mm, let me know if you need anything.” Seeing him enter the bathroom and close the door, Lu Tingshen turned around and left the room.
Inside the bathroom, after finishing his shower, Ji Jinbai picked up the white shirt nearby and, like a little pervert, lowered his face close to the fabric.
Not smelling the scent he had imagined, Ji Jinbai felt a bit disappointed. It was a new shirt he hadn’t worn before.
Ji Jinbai put on the shirt, his long, fair fingers buttoning it up one by one, deliberately leaving the top button undone.
The shirt was a bit too big for him, as if he had stolen clothes from an adult. He tugged at the hem and didn’t put on the long pants.
Looking at his flushed face in the mirror, Ji Jinbai nodded in satisfaction.
He had always been confident in his looks. He didn’t believe that even like this, the old man would remain indifferent. He thought to himself.
Lu Tingshen quickly took a shower in his room, drying his hair with a towel. Remembering that the guest room hadn’t been used before, he realized there were no bedding prepared.
So he opened the closet, took out a complete set of bedding, and brought it to the guest room.
Just as Lu Tingshen placed the quilt on the bed, he heard the bathroom door open. He suddenly looked up in that direction.
Under the bright light, the young man who had just come out of the bathroom lazily wiped his hair with a towel, his small face flushed from the steam.
The collar was slightly open, and water droplets trailed down his slender neck into the collarbone and then into the shirt.
The shirt just covered his thighs, revealing his pink knees and straight, fair legs.
Yet, he wore an innocent expression. Lu Tingshen stood still, watching the boy who was unaware of his allure, his eyes deepening.
Unconsciously, his Adam’s apple bobbed a few times, and a dangerous glint appeared in his eyes.
He subtly adjusted the position of his robe.
Concealing the emotions in his eyes.
The man in front of him wore a black robe, the belt loosely tied around his waist, faintly revealing his abs.
Broad shoulders and a narrow waist, his height of over 190 cm made him look like a male model, even more handsome than one.
Ji Jinbai looked at him, his eyes constantly scanning him. What a great figure.
Seeing the man’s expression unchanged, Ji Jinbai felt a bit disheartened. Did he really have no reaction to him? Could it be that he didn’t like this? That shouldn’t be the case.
Ji Jinbai’s expression turned a bit listless. After adjusting his emotions, he walked up to him. Just as he was about to press against the man’s body, the man subtly stepped back.
Seeing the man’s retreat, Ji Jinbai felt a bit unhappy and looked up at him.
“Do you usually dress like this in the dorm?”
He frowned at the thought of the boy dressing like this in the dorm, being seen by others in such a state. He felt inexplicably annoyed, as if his possession was being coveted.
“I don’t dress like this in the dorm. I only do this at home after showering before bed.”
Ji Jinbai didn’t dwell on the man’s earlier action and softly explained.
Hearing this, Lu Tingshen felt relieved and gently instructed.
“I’ll make the bed for you. You can sleep here tonight. There’s a lamp on the bedside table; you can leave it on if you’re afraid of the dark.”
“My room is to the left when you go out. If you get hungry in the middle of the night, there are fruits and milk in the fridge downstairs. You can go down and have some.”
“Okay.”
Ji Jinbai was a bit afraid of the dark, but he didn’t tell the man.
Lu Tingshen quickly helped him make the bed, ensuring everything was in place.
“I’ll leave now. Have a good rest. Goodnight.”
Ji Jinbai threw himself onto the bed, lying face down, hugging a pillow, and tilting his head against it. He gave a soft smile.
“Goodnight, Mr. Lu.”
Ji Jinbai lay on the bed and opened his phone, seeing many messages.
He had forgotten that his club members were still at the hot pot restaurant. They had sent numerous messages looking for him, asking why he hadn’t returned yet.
Ji Jinbai replied to each one, apologizing and explaining that he had to leave early due to some unexpected matters.
“Xiao Bai, why haven’t you come back yet? It’s so late!”
“Where did you go?”
“Xiao Bai, why aren’t you answering me?”
“Damn, did Zhou Yang corner you? Where are you? Send me your location, I’ll come help you!”
“Xiao Bai! Reply to me!!”
He saw ten missed calls from Lu Mian, which he hadn’t heard because he was in the shower.
The last message was sent five minutes ago.
Lu Mian, not seeing him in the dorm so late, had asked around the class, but no one had seen him.
Lu Mian started to panic, fearing that Zhou Yang had cornered him—that scumbag was capable of anything.
Seeing the messages, Ji Jinbai felt warm inside, knowing how worried Lu Mian was.
He immediately replied with a message.
“I’m fine, don’t worry. I ran into my uncle today, so I’m staying at his place tonight.”
Ji Jinbai said this without batting an eye.
Lu Mian would never guess that his Second Uncle was the “uncle” Ji Jinbai was referring to.
“That’s good. I was worried something had happened to you.”
“Now I can relax.”
Ji Jinbai put down his phone, turned off the main light, and left only a small desk lamp on. In the dim, yellowish light, he tossed and turned.
The room felt eerily quiet. He hid under the covers, pulling them over his head, curling up tightly, and closing his eyes. His body trembled slightly.
“Knock knock.”
Lu Tingshen opened the door to find the young man standing outside, clutching a pillow with a pitiful expression.
“I’m scared of the dark. I can’t sleep alone.”
Looking at the boy who was gazing at him with pleading eyes, the man sighed helplessly.
“Come in.”
Ji Jinbai, wearing slippers, pattered into his room.
“You sleep on the left side.”
Ji Jinbai placed his pillow neatly and sat cross-legged on the bed.
Against the black bedding, his skin looked even paler, like a delicate, noble elf.
And yet, he was looking at him with such innocence.
Damn, this was going to be the death of him.
Lu Tingshen went to the guest room to fetch his own blanket and draped it over Ji Jinbai.
“Mr. Lu, thank you for letting me stay. Don’t worry, I sleep very quietly—no snoring, no teeth grinding.”
Ji Jinbai placed his hands on the blanket, smiling brightly as he assured him.
“Alright, sleep now.”
“Okay.”
Lu Tingshen felt something pressing down on him. He groggily opened his eyes and saw a dark figure on top of him, thinking it was a dream.
He had been working overtime and traveling non-stop lately, getting only five hours of sleep a day. Now, he was too exhausted to think about anything.
His hand instinctively wrapped around the slender waist of the person on top of him. It felt soft and comfortable, so he left his hand there.
The young man lying on top of him opened his eyes in the darkness, clearly not asleep.
He buried his face in the man’s neck, carefully placing his hands around it.
Hmph, this old man. Even in his dreams, he’s holding my waist. What a closet pervert.
He couldn’t wait to see how the man would react tomorrow when he saw them like this. Would he be able to hold back?
Yawning and rubbing his neck, Ji Jinbai couldn’t resist the drowsiness and slowly drifted off to sleep.
…
The next day
Lu Tingshen woke up to find someone lying on top of him, with an arm wrapped around his waist.
Seeing Ji Jinbai sleeping on him, Lu Tingshen wondered if he had unconsciously brought him over in the middle of the night.
Lu Tingshen’s eyes were filled with confusion as he opened the blanket and saw the scene beneath it, almost losing his breath.
Not daring to look any longer, the man carefully lifted Ji Jinbai off him and placed him on the bed.
He quickly covered him with the blanket and strode into the bathroom with his long legs, needing a cold shower to calm down.
After freshening up, the man called Assistant Lin.
“Bring a set of clothes suitable for a young boy when you come over.”
“Oh, sure.”
Lu Tingshen hung up the phone and went downstairs to prepare breakfast for two.
Hearing a knock at the door, he opened it and took the clothes handed over by his assistant.
“Boss, I’ll wait for you in the car downstairs.”
“Mm.”
Then he went upstairs, put on his suit, and tied his tie, about to wake up the person still sound asleep in bed…
When he turned around, he saw Ji Jinbai slowly waking up.
“You’re awake. Get up and freshen up, I’ll take you to school later.”
Ji Jinbai initially wanted to laze in bed a bit longer, but then he suddenly remembered he had an 8 AM class.
At the man’s house, he didn’t feel the least bit restrained, acting as if he were at home.
With a quick movement, he sprang out of bed, took the clothes handed to him, saw they were his size, and hurried into the bathroom.
“Coming, coming, give me five minutes.”
The two sat at the table, eating breakfast. Ji Jinbai looked at the sandwiches and century egg and lean pork congee on the table.
“Mr. Lu, did you make all this breakfast?”
“Yes.”
“It’s delicious. I didn’t expect you to know how to cook these.”
Lu Tingshen looked at him, amused by his surprised expression.
“When I was in college, I lived off-campus and didn’t want to eat takeout, so I tried cooking myself. It turned out pretty good.”
“I thought people like you, who are wealthy, usually don’t get their hands dirty in the kitchen.”
It wasn’t surprising that Ji Jinbai was so astonished. His family also owned a company, and he had met some big bosses through his father. They almost always had maids to cook for them and never cooked themselves.
“Cooking for yourself is healthier and more flavorful.”
“Those who just open their mouths and do nothing are the rich ladies.”
Lu Tingshen joked, looking at his satisfied expression.
“It’s getting late, I’ll take you to school first.”
…
“Assistant Lin, just drop me off a few hundred meters from the school.”
Ji Jinbai didn’t want his classmates to see him getting out of a luxury car, fearing it might cause some gossip.
The silver Infiniti stopped two hundred meters away from the school.
Ji Jinbai thanked the man once again.
“Mr. Lu, I’ll be going now. Goodbye.”
“Goodbye, Assistant Lin.”
Lu Tingshen looked at the elegant and handsome young man in front of him and said gently,
“If you encounter any trouble, you can tell me, and I’ll help you solve it. Don’t be polite, after all, you’re also a friend of Lu Mian.”
“Mm, okay.”
Ji Jinbai opened the car door and got out from the back seat, walking towards the school gate.
A minute later, the Infiniti parked by the roadside sped away.
