With Kuang Feng away, Di Kai suddenly felt a bit itchy-handed these past few days.
It’s not that he didn’t have other lackeys, but none of them were as easy to bully as Kuang Feng. Plus, none of them took things so passively like him.
Honestly speaking, even Di Kai himself couldn’t believe that an Alpha could be so pathetic. Even if someone stole his food right in front of him, he wouldn’t make a sound, acting like a complete pushover. Even that Omega was tougher than him.
At the thought of that Omega, a sinister glint suddenly appeared in Di Kai’s eyes. He wasn’t sure how Kuang Feng’s mission was going, but he hoped it would end in disaster, causing Kuang Feng to suffer terribly, going in standing up and leaving lying flat!
The more Di Kai thought about it, the more excited he became. He stuffed a mouthful of rice into his mouth and stood up, preparing to return his tray. But before he could move his feet, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a familiar figure out of the corner of his eye.
Thinking he must’ve been mistaken, he rubbed his eyes with one hand. Yet the more he looked, the more that figure resembled Kuang Feng, who hadn’t returned from his mission yet.
Half-doubting, Di Kai walked a few steps forward, squinting his eyes to a narrow slit, and finally confirmed—it was indeed Kuang Feng.
In that instant, Di Kai’s face, full of rough flesh, darkened immediately. He stared sinisterly in Kuang Feng’s direction, the joints of his fingers cracking loudly as he clenched his fists.
What’s going on? Is he getting bolder, coming back without even informing me?
Just as Di Kai was about to walk over and flip Kuang Feng’s tray, something suddenly came to his mind, causing him to halt abruptly.
He slowly loosened his fist, took a few steps to stand behind Kuang Feng, and spoke in a slow, cold voice: “Back, huh? How’s that Omega doing?”
As soon as the words left his mouth, Kuang Feng’s body stiffened abruptly.
Di Kai stared at his reaction with satisfaction, waiting for him to give an explanation.
Out of Di Kai’s sight, Kuang Feng clenched his fists tightly, the veins on the back of his hands bulging as if suppressing something with all his might.
Although he had already anticipated that Di Kai would come looking for him, the moment he heard that voice, a reflexive fear still gripped him for a split second.
Kuang Feng had grown accustomed to being bullied by Di Kai. His body had developed an instinctive response, where just hearing Di Kai’s voice would make his spine involuntarily stiffen, and cold sweat would break out on his forehead.
Yet despite this, he forced himself to stay calm, stood up, and faced Di Kai head-on, saying, “He’s fine.”
At these words, Di Kai’s thick black brows instantly furrowed together, and the malice in his eyes became almost tangible: “What do you mean by that?”
Kuang Feng felt his scalp tingle under Di Kai’s gaze, but he still forced himself to stand tall, neither humble nor arrogant, as he said, “It means exactly what I said. Li Po is fine.”
“…”
Di Kai’s eyes narrowed to a slit, and a sharp glint flashed from within as he scrutinized Kuang Feng from head to toe.
His gut told him that the person before him seemed to have changed, no longer as obedient and submissive as before.
However, Di Kai wasn’t too concerned. He snorted coldly through his nose, then raised his left hand and placed it on Kuang Feng’s shoulder.
His yellowed fingers gripped Kuang Feng’s shoulder tightly, and Di Kai sneered maliciously, but still pretended to speak in a friendly tone: “Looks like that Omega has some skills, huh? Just one trip out, and you’re already so loyal to him.”
As Di Kai tightened his grip, Kuang Feng’s thin shoulders trembled violently for a moment. He bit down hard, refusing to let out any sound of pleading.
He had intended to endure it, even prepared for Di Kai to dislocate his shoulder. But when Di Kai slandered the Omega with that filthy rumor, he suddenly couldn’t hold back anymore.
Somehow, a surge of strength burst from within him. He abruptly grabbed Di Kai’s hand off his shoulder and flung it aside with such force that even his own hand went numb from the impact.
Di Kai, completely caught off guard by Kuang Feng’s resistance, stumbled backward, crashing straight into the edge of the table behind him.
In that instant, a sharp pain shot up from his tailbone, and the flesh on his face contorted into a grotesque grimace, turning ghostly pale.
…His butt almost split open.
Seeing Di Kai’s miserable state, a surge of satisfaction suddenly welled up in Kuang Feng’s heart. He had always been suffocated by Di Kai, and it had been a long time since he felt so relieved.
He had thought that resisting Di Kai would result in a severe beating, but now it seemed like Di Kai was nothing more than a paper tiger, all bark and no bite.
With a glance at Di Kai’s ugly, contorted face, any remaining fear in Kuang Feng’s heart suddenly vanished. He raised his hand to rub his sore shoulder, and then said with a blank expression, “First of all, there’s nothing between Li Po and me. You should clean up those filthy thoughts of yours. Secondly, that thing between your legs isn’t even worth mentioning. Maybe you should head over to Bai Lou for some medicine.”
After pausing for a few seconds, a cold, meaningful smile flashed in Kuang Feng’s eyes as he added, “You’re obsessed with imagining things about others, but do you even deserve it?”
With those words, he shot Di Kai a mocking glance and walked away calmly.
Left behind, Di Kai’s face, full of wrinkles and folds, showed an expression close to utter blankness for the first time. He stood there, clutching his butt, eyes filled with disbelief.
What was going on? Had Kuang Feng gone mad? Not only had his personality drastically changed, but he’d turned into a wild dog that bites!
Not far away, Kuang Feng walked swiftly. He clutched his wildly beating heart, wiping off the cold sweat that had dripped down to his chin.
That was terrifying, almost got exposed there.
As he walked, Kuang Feng couldn’t help but wonder, did he act Omega-like enough?

Elsewhere, Li Po was sipping on his nutrient drink with an expression that screamed defeat.
Even though he was curious about what Jiang Yu was going to do with him, whenever he thought about what had happened yesterday, his ears would uncontrollably turn red.
How did it end up so coincidentally…
Suddenly, something crossed Li Po’s mind, and his expression turned serious. He quickly drank the remaining nutrient liquid, tossed the bag into the trash can, then cautiously stood up, loosened his belt, and took a quick glance inside.
Phew, still good.
Li Po, feeling satisfied with his size, joyfully fastened his belt and tucked away his communicator. After surveying his surroundings to ensure everything was in order, he got ready to head out.
Fifteen minutes later, he arrived at the Black Tower.
Following his memory, Li Po ascended to the top floor. At this moment, the door to the room was tightly shut. Unable to find a way to open it, Li Po raised his hand and knocked.
“Knock, knock, knock.”
No response came from inside.
Where is everyone? Still asleep? Li Po grew impatient but still knocked again.
Still no response.
Just as Li Po pulled out his communicator to send Jiang Yu a message, a voice suddenly sounded from behind: “Li Po.”
Startled, Li Po turned around instinctively. Upon seeing that it was Jiang Yu, he patted his chest, still shaken: “Sir, how do you walk without making a sound?”
Jiang Yu didn’t reply, just lowered his gaze to look at him, his cold eyes revealing no emotion.
After a while, he looked away and said indifferently, “Follow me.”
…
Li Po was led to the fifth floor of the Black Tower.
To his surprise, there were no divided rooms here, only a massive machine standing in the center, its surface reflecting a cold, piercing silver light.
Li Po stepped forward and curiously inspected the machine: “Sir, what is this?”
Jiang Yu didn’t answer, merely glanced at the Omega and asked, “Do you know how to use mental energy?”
Li Po shook his head. To him, mental energy was like a mystical concept—whether he had it or not depended entirely on luck.
“Place your hand on it.”
Li Po blinked in confusion but followed the order.
There was a groove on the machine’s surface, and Li Po sized it up before placing his hand into it.
The inside of the groove was uneven, and as Li Po’s fingertips touched a cold, raised spot, before he could fully realize what it was, a warm current suddenly appeared in his mind.
At first, the warmth was faint, but as Li Po maintained contact with the machine, it grew clearer. Slowly, the warmth spread beyond his mind, coursing through his nerves and reaching every corner of his body.
The warmth enveloped Li Po completely, filling every cell with comfort. He felt so cozy that he was nearly lulled to sleep.
Just as Li Po was about to drift off, a sharp pain pierced through his head, and something seemed to be implanted inside his brain.
Li Po couldn’t quite describe what it was, but the previous sense of emptiness vanished, replaced by a strange surge of power—a force he could control.
Time passed slowly, and that warmth finally dissipated bit by bit. Once Li Po felt it completely disappear, he withdrew his hand and turned to Jiang Yu, asking, “Sir, what is this?”
“A machine that lets you control mental energy.”
Li Po was momentarily stunned by the answer, finding it hard to believe: “Mental energy can be controlled?”
Jiang Yu nodded: “Only against pollutants.”
“…No wonder.” Li Po pondered for a moment before asking, “Does this also apply to S District training scenarios?”
“It depends.”
“Oh… So, will low-level mental energy still be effective?” Li Po asked with a mischievous glint in his eye.
He wanted to see what Jiang Yu would say. If Jiang Yu dared to say it wasn’t strong enough, he’d… he’d silently get mad!
Sure enough, Jiang Yu fell silent at the question.
After thinking for a long while, Jiang Yu finally spoke softly under Li Po’s intense gaze: “Yes, it’s easy to control.”
…Wow, smooth talker.
But from Jiang Yu’s response, Li Po could tell that the higher one’s mental energy level, the harder it was to control. However, that didn’t bother him in the slightest. What he lacked wasn’t the ability to control mental energy, but the mental energy itself.
Thinking about Jiang Yu’s SS-level mental energy, Li Po felt a pang of jealousy. He pursed his lips, suppressing the competitive urge rising in his chest, and asked, “Sir, is there anything else I need to do?”
Finally, Jiang Yu lifted his eyelids and answered in a flat tone: “You need to implant the self-destruct chip.”
“…?” Li Po’s eyes widened instantly.
What, a self-destruct chip?
Was this the same self-destruct program used by the Alpha in the first pollution case?
To confirm his guess, he asked, “Is it…”
“Yes.” As if anticipating his question, Jiang Yu interrupted before he could finish.
“…Oh, okay.” After getting his answer, Li Po lowered his gaze, a trace of hesitation in his eyes.
Can the chip really be implanted so easily? Would there be any negative consequences? Like…
Suddenly, a cold voice came from beside him: “Regretting it?”
Li Po glanced at Jiang Yu: “Sir, have you implanted it too?”
Jiang Yu stared at him, expressionless, and nodded.
“Then… can I touch it?”
