“It’s just a bastard child anyway,” a staff member said, sounding angry, with obvious disdain for Lu Youze.

“You’d better not say that,” someone quietly warned him. “Even if everyone hates Lu Youze now, he still has the Lu family behind him.”

“Does having money mean you can bully people however you want? Does Li Li deserve this?” The angry fan retorted. “Did I say anything wrong? Isn’t the child in his belly just a bastard?”

“Shut up. If you can’t speak properly, just don’t say anything. Li Li, don’t take it to heart. You’re such a good person, you’ll meet someone better.”

“Don’t worry about me, I’m fine. Did they call the ambulance? We can’t let Lu senior get hurt.” Yu Li’s voice still sounded worried, almost on the verge of crying.

Lu Youze felt himself being lifted onto a stretcher. The noisy voices around him made his head hurt even more. He vaguely heard their conversation.
