If he hadn’t tasted that sweet honey from the beginning, he could have endured it, but now that he had, how could he possibly let go? Gu Xuanze stood up, his mind still in chaos, but he decided to meet with Youze first.

If… Lu Youze’s cold gaze flashed in his mind again, and the thought of being looked at with that same expression made Gu Xuanze’s heart ache more than before.
