Chapter 19 : Mr. is not a rich man
The students who had been watching the commotion in the classroom were taken away. Under the supervision of the teachers, they had to write down their names, class, and the name of their counselor.
They had thought that participating in this incident would have no consequences, which is why they had been so reckless. They didn’t expect that such a “small matter” would end up being recorded in their files.
Now, they regretted it deeply.
It was all Sha Pu’s fault. He had spread baseless gossip without knowing the truth, dragging everyone else into trouble.
Fang Yanran wiped her tears and said, “Great news, Qianqian. Now we can finally clear your name.”
Mu Qianqian also felt relieved. “Yes, it’s good that the school leaders were fair and didn’t let those people lead them astray.”
Not long after, a girl rushed over, anxiously calling out, “Qianqian, are you okay?”
“Siyu? What are you doing here?”
Mu Qianqian recognized the voice of her good friend, Li Siyu.
“I didn’t have any classes this morning. I was sleeping in the dorm, and when my roommate told me what happened, I hurried over.” Li Siyu had come to her classroom in a rush, without even putting on makeup.
“What about those gossipers? They’re in college and still using such vicious words to slander a girl. Just wait until I smash their mouths!”
Li Siyu had trained in sanda and had quite a fiery temper, she immediately started talking about fighting.
Mu Qianqian was both touched and helpless. She quickly stopped her, saying, “Please don’t get into fights for me. Don’t worry, those people have already been taken away by the teachers. The ones causing trouble on the forum have been exposed, and they will definitely face punishment.”
“Is the school handling things so swiftly and decisively?” Li Siyu was a bit surprised.
“Never mind that. I just want to go to school in peace and not have anyone trouble me again.”
Li Siyu sat down next to Mu Qianqian and said, “Qianqian, I feel like you look even more beautiful than before.”
Mu Qianqian touched her face and asked, “Really? I don’t think I’ve changed much. I just wore a pair of sunglasses. Did it make such a big difference?”
“You were pretty before, but your complexion was a bit pale. Now, your complexion is much rosier, and you look more lively and refined.”
Li Siyu hadn’t seen Mu Qianqian for a while, so she immediately noticed the change.
The old Mu Qianqian was also beautiful, but because of poor nutrition, she looked somewhat sickly. Now, with her improved complexion, she looked like a delicate flower from a wealthy family, exuding a vibrant and lively energy.
Being praised by her friend, Mu Qianqian was naturally pleased.
She knew in her heart that it was all thanks to Mr. Fu.
“I forgot to introduce you two. This is Fang Yanran, my roommate. And this is Li Siyu, my good friend from high school.”
Under Mu Qianqian’s introduction, Li Siyu and Fang Yanran exchanged contact information.
Li Siyu was scrolling through her phone, “Hey, hey, you two, look, there’s a new post on the forum.”
Mu Qianqian looked over in confusion, only able to see a blur of light and shadow.
“I forgot, you still can’t see clearly on your phone. Qianqian, can you see my face clearly?” Li Siyu asked.
Mu Qianqian shook her head, “I still can’t see clearly. The doctor said I need to rest for a while longer before it gets better.”
It was as if there was a layer of frosted glass, she could only see a rough outline but couldn’t make out the facial features.
“Then I’ll read it to you… this post is from the school leaders.”
“Because some students questioned the legitimacy of Mu Qianqian’s admission to Financial University, the school has released her college entrance exam papers for everyone to see.”
“Mu Qianqian’s exam results are legitimate and compliant, far exceeding the admission score line for Financial University, with no violations.”
“Regarding Mu Qianqian’s application for financial aid, she had voluntarily withdrawn it during the application phase, and did not occupy any other student’s spot.”
“The administrative staff member, Teacher Li, who leaked Mu Qianqian’s personal information, has been dismissed by the school.”
Fang Yanran, with tears now turned into a smile, said, “Great, this finally clears your name.”
“And as for Sha Pu from your class who spread rumors and caused trouble, the school has suspended his classes. He probably won’t be attending anymore.”
Upon reading this, Li Siyu and Fang Yanran both felt greatly relieved.
Serves him right! He deserved it for wrongfully accusing others.
“Qianqian, there are still many students praising you in the comments on the forum.”
Mu Qianqian tilted her head and asked, “Praising me for what?”
“They’re praising your neat and beautiful handwriting, the clean appearance of your paper, and your excellent grades.” Li Siyu felt proud, even more so than Mu Qianqian, “They don’t know that you’re our university’s top student, so getting into Financial University is nothing for you.”
Although Financial University is a key university, not everyone has Mu Qianqian’s capabilities, considering she scored nearly full marks in several subjects.
A top student who is so humble and low-key is still very well-liked.
Mu Qianqian smiled casually, “That’s all in the past. Now I find it quite difficult to follow the classes.”
Li Siyu comforted her, “Don’t worry. You’re just temporarily unable to see the text, so it feels hard. Once your vision recovers, you’ll definitely be the top student in your major. You’ll earn scholarships hand over fist, and those who tried to frame you will be green with envy.”
Fang Yanran also encouraged her, “Yes, Qianqian, the best way to deal with these small-minded people is to show them how well you’re doing.”
With the support of her two good friends, Mu Qianqian’s mood improved significantly.
“Siyu, Yanran, thank you both.”
She felt incredibly fortunate to have met such kind-hearted people like Mr. Fu and to have two genuinely good friends.
After class, Li Siyu had to leave for something and said goodbye.
Fang Yanran accompanied Mu Qianqian to their usual spot and was about to wait with her when unexpectedly, Fu Sihan arrived right away.
Fu Sihan had handled company matters and rushed to the school as quickly as possible.
“Qianqian.”
Hearing his deep voice, Mu Qianqian’s heart warmed, “Mr. you’re here.”
“I… my family has come to pick me up, Yanran, I’m leaving now. See you later.”
“See you.”
Mu Qianqian ran to Fu Sihan’s side, grabbing the hem of his coat, looking incredibly obedient.
Seeing her safe and sound, Fu Sihan’s tense heart relaxed slightly.
“How was your day at school?”
Mu Qianqian initially didn’t want to tell him, but thinking that they were married and shouldn’t keep secrets from each other, she decided to share. “Someone spread rumors on the forum that I was relying on wealthy men. Thankfully, the school leaders were discerning and cleared up the misunderstanding, and those who bullied me have been punished.”
What Mu Qianqian didn’t know was that this wasn’t due to the school leaders’ sharp insight. The leaders were all busy, and they had no time to deal with the matter of an ordinary college student.
The resolution of this issue relied entirely on her husband.
Fu Sihan smiled slightly, “Relying on wealthy men? Whose wealthy man?”
“Of course, it’s your wealthy status, Mr. It seems they mistook your car for an exceptionally expensive luxury vehicle. But Mr, I know you’re a diligent office worker, not some big tycoon.”
Mu Qianqian knew nothing about cars, so she thought that others had either mistaken it or deliberately manipulated images to frame her.
She never considered that her husband could actually afford a luxury car.
“Why, am I not a wealthy man?” Fu Sihan asked with interest.
Mu Qianqian smiled sweetly, her grin as sweet as honey, “Mr. how can a wealthy man live in a residential community?”
