Chapter 195 : Someone wants to harm the baby

Lu Yunyao’s curiosity was piqued. “What surprise?”

“You’ll find out when the time comes.”

Lu Yunyao sighed in exasperation. “Wanqing, you’re teasing my curiosity but not telling me anything. That’s just unfair!”

Ye Wanqing laughed. “Once you know the truth, you definitely won’t blame me!”

As Lu Yunyao’s friend, Ye Wanqing was well aware of her obsession with looks. For someone who was a deep admirer of beauty, if she thought her husband was unattractive but then opened her eyes to find he was actually a stunningly handsome man, what a huge surprise that would be! She recalled the first time she saw Fu Sichan; she was stunned for a long time and almost fainted from his good looks! Yunyao was truly lucky; others could only envy her. But thankfully, she also had Lu Shao now.

Lu Yunbai was young and handsome; although he couldn’t compare to President Fu’s striking appearance, he was still much better looking than the average guy!

That day, after class, someone suddenly came running to find Lu Yunyao.

“Lu Yunyao, the teacher asked you to wait for him at the third teaching building.”

“Which teacher?” Lu Yunyao asked.

The classmate’s eyes flickered. “The one who teaches the class.”

“Is it the physics teacher?” Lu Yunyao inquired.

“Yeah, yeah, hurry up! He’s waiting for you in Classroom 101 on the east side of the third teaching building.”

“Okay, I’ll go now.”

With her backpack on, Lu Yunyao followed the unfamiliar classmate to the third teaching building.

“That’s Classroom 101,  the teacher is inside,” the classmate said.

Lu Yunyao walked in without any defenses.

The classroom was empty and filled with a pungent smell.

“Teacher?”

She called out but received no response.

“The teacher isn’t here? You said he was waiting for me!”

As she turned to leave, the door suddenly slammed shut behind her.

A clanking sound followed, someone was locking it from the outside!

Panic surged in Lu Yunyao as she rushed to the door, tugging at it, but it wouldn’t budge.

“What are you doing? Who sent you here?”

The unfamiliar classmate locked the door from outside and closed the windows.

“Lu Yunyao, just stay inside for a while. I’ll come back to open the door in two hours.”

Lu Yunyao was confused about why this person was locking her in the classroom.

What was their motive?

Suddenly, she remembered that the third teaching building was new, and all the desks and chairs inside had just been moved in.

Could it be… formaldehyde?

Lu Yunyao’s pupils contracted.

Oh no, this room was probably filled with formaldehyde!

She was pregnant, and if she were locked in this room for two hours, her baby would surely be in danger!

“Is anyone there? Help! Someone, please!”

She shouted loudly a few times, but the location was too secluded, and few people passed by.

The doors and windows were locked tight.

If she stayed here any longer, she might not be able to keep the baby safe!

Lu Yunyao held her belly, her eyes turning red.

But now was not the time to think about that.

No, for the sake of her baby, she had to fight back!

She picked up a stool and slammed it against the window.

With a crash, the glass shattered, and fresh air rushed in, dispersing the formaldehyde smell.

Encouraged, Lu Yunyao smashed all the windows on both sides of the classroom.

The strong wind poured in, and the formaldehyde odor had become negligible.

Lu Yunyao breathed a sigh of relief as if she had survived a disaster.

She had held her breath and hadn’t inhaled much formaldehyde, hoping it wouldn’t harm her baby.

The sound of her breaking windows attracted some students.

By coincidence, it was Li Siyu!

“Yunyao, what are you doing here?”

“Siyu, is that you?”

“Yeah, I was going to the playground to play badminton. I heard glass breaking and rushed over to check, and here you are!”

Lu Yunyao quickly explained, “I was locked in this classroom, it’s filled with formaldehyde. Can you help me call someone to open the door? My bodyguards are outside the school, please bring them in!”

Upon hearing that the classroom was full of formaldehyde, Li Siyu didn’t hesitate and ran to get the Fu family’s bodyguards as fast as she could.

“I’ll go get the keys from the teacher!”

Li Siyu sprinted towards the teacher’s office.

But the office was empty, and she couldn’t find anyone to get the keys, making her anxious.

“Ma’am, please step back and cover your ears.”

Lu Yunyao retreated to the corner of the classroom, covering her ears.

After a few loud bangs, the door was opened, and the bodyguards rushed in to assist Lu Yunyao out of the room.

Once outside, Lu Yunyao took deep breaths of fresh air.

She had been protecting her belly the entire time, silently praying

Please, let my baby be safe… let nothing be wrong…

Otherwise, she would never forgive herself for the rest of her life!

Tears filled her eyes, but she bit her lip, holding back the tears.

“Ma’am, we’ve informed Mr. Fu about what happened here, he’ll be here soon.”

“Mr. Fu wants to speak with you…”

The bodyguard held the phone to Lu Yunyao’s ear.

After hearing about the incident, Fu Sichan rushed back from the company.

His voice was filled with clear anxiety and worry. “Are you okay?”

Upon hearing his voice, the tears Lu Yunyao had been holding back fell uncontrollably.

“Mr, I’m so sorry… It’s all my fault, I put our baby in danger.”

Fu Sichan’s heart sank, and his eyes turned red with emotion.

He clenched his fists, trying to suppress the anger boiling inside him.

Keeping his voice gentle, he was careful not to frighten her.

“This isn’t your fault, don’t be afraid. I’ll have someone take you to the hospital for an examination right away.”

“Yunyao, this isn’t your fault, you don’t need to feel guilty about it.”

“We’re still young, we’ll have more children in the future. As long as you’re okay, that’s all that matters.”
