The store manager asked, “What did they do?”

“This is our café’s fault for not training our staff properly. Please forgive us. How about this, once your friend arrives, feel free to order anything, and we’ll waive the cost.”

The manager then moved them to a better, quieter table and served them the most expensive coffee and desserts.

“If you need anything, just let us know. Your and your friend’s expenses today are on the house.”

Lu Yunyao and Fang Yanran felt much better now.

“We just wanted to enjoy a nice coffee outing and ended up in this mess, what bad luck.”

Lu Yunyao comforted her, “It’s okay, at least it’s resolved.”

If the manager hadn’t been reasonable, she would have had to refund the several thousand yuan worth of drinks they had ordered, which would have been a shame.
