Chapter 3 : The old lady asked them to get the certificate

As soon as she entered the room, Gu Qingyu froze for a moment.

The girl lying on the bed had no makeup on, her cheeks were pale and so tender it seemed one could almost squeeze out water.

She lay quietly with her eyes closed, bathed in the sunlight coming through the window, looking as if an angel had descended to earth. At the foot of the bed was an old, shabby yellow duck backpack, clearly of little value.

A flash of jealousy quickly crossed Gu Qingyu’s eyes. She rushed to the bedside and ripped the IV drip from the girl’s arm. “Bitch! Do you think you can dream of President Fu?”

Mu Qianqian winced in pain and let out a soft hiss.

She turned her face toward Gu Qingyu’s direction but kept her eyes closed.

In Gu Qingyu’s eyes, this was a clear sign of contempt for her.

Gu Qingyu, flustered and angry, said, “Who do you country bumpkins think you are, looking down on me with your stinky appearance? Do you know the Gu family’s status in the capital? With one phone call, I could ruin your entire family!”

“I—I didn’t seduce anyone,” Mu Qianqian clutched the blanket and replied in a panic.

She just came to the hospital for treatment, when did she seduce anyone?

“How can a country girl like you live in such a high-end private hospital? Mr. Fu is my fiancé, how dare you seduce him? I will tear your face off.”

Gu Qingyu raised her hand high, about to slap Mu Qianqian.

“Stop!” A deep, cold voice came from behind.

Fu Sichan had just finished dealing with work and was about to check on Mu Qianqian when he happened to witness this scene.

Mu Qianqian clutched her injured wrist, her brow furrowed in pain.

Back in the hospital room.

“Qianqian?” Fu Sichan called her name.

Mu Qianqian released her hand, her left wrist was glaringly red, a mark left from when Gu Qingyu had yanked the IV tube earlier.

Fu Sichan frowned imperceptibly, then called for a nurse to come in, attend to Mu Qianqian’s injury, and restart the IV.
