Chapter 29: Ailing Body

Inside the room, Bai Jinxi and Banxia’s smiles vanished instantly upon hearing that Yun Moyi had arrived. They exchanged a look of apprehension.

“Young lady, what is she doing here?” Banxia said with a look of disdain.

Bai Jinxi pondered for a moment and guessed that it must be her unusual behavior today that was reported to Yun Moyi by the servants.

So, she was here to probe her?

A cold smile curled her lips. She gestured for Banxia to follow her instructions later…

“Why is the door closed in broad daylight?”

Yun Moyi stepped into the room, looking around as she casually asked.

Bai Jinxi didn’t answer. She looked behind her, only to see Tiandong carrying two large food boxes, looking quite heavy.
