Chapter 24: The Lustful Rabbit
This was the first time he had seen his junior sister, who was usually only focused on cultivation, sleeping so comfortably in the grass.
He didn’t transform into human form, but remained in his fox form, slowly walking over.
The fox paw that stepped on the grass lifted and landed on the girl’s tender cheek.
“Tsk.”
Qi Chaoye sighed.
The girl used her storage bag as a pillow, one hand resting behind her head, her lips slightly parted as she slept comfortably.
The setting sun fell on her face, making her cheeks blush slightly.
Her crow-blue eyelashes trembled unconsciously in her sleep, casting a shadow on her eyelids.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew. Perhaps feeling a little cold, she frowned slightly, her hand hanging by her side reached out unconsciously and touched Qi Chaoye’s fluffy, fiery red tail that was resting on the ground.
The fox tail had an excellent feel, making her unconsciously relax her brows in her sleep. She rolled over, her cheek escaping from under Qi Chaoye’s fox paw.
She wrapped her arms around his fox tail and even tucked it into her fox.
“So comfortable…”
She hummed twice.
Qi Chaoye was stunned, then he was amused by her behavior of using his tail as a blanket.
He shook his tail, trying to pull it out of her arms.
However, Su Jiu was holding on too tightly. Two of his fox hairs fell out, and she still wouldn’t let go.
Qi Chaoye was a little annoyed.
He was the esteemed young master of the Demon Clan!
A nine-tailed fox who could transform from birth, and now he was being used as a blanket by a human woman!
A disgrace!
His fox eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of killing intent flashing within them.
Qi Chaoye raised his paw, aiming at her round, beautiful head, casually thinking about where to strike so that her head wouldn’t burst like a watermelon, splattering juice everywhere.
It would be unsightly to stain his pink paw.
However, before he could aim, he saw Su Jiu loosen her grip on his tail, gently rubbing her eyes, as if she was about to wake up.
Qi Chaoye’s paw paused.
He could easily kill the girl under his paw in an instant.
And no one would suspect him.
After all, he was just the second disciple of Shen Xianjun on the Undying Mountain, with a flamboyant appearance and mediocre talent.
What kind of grudge could he have against that quiet and gentle junior sister?
However, before those eyes opened, Qi Chaoye retracted his paw and transformed himself into a white rabbit.
Exactly the same as the rabbit that had tried to provoke him before it ran away.
Qi Chaoye thought calmly, he hadn’t suddenly softened his heart.
He just remembered that Shen Wangchen seemed to be quite fond of his only female disciple. If anything happened to her, he would surely investigate the Undying Mountain thoroughly.
That would be unfavorable to him.
Su Jiu opened her eyes and felt a tingling, warm sensation on her fingertips.
She was stunned for a moment, sat up, propped herself up with one hand, tilted her head, and looked down. She saw a small rabbit, white as snow, curled up with its four short legs, tilting its head just like her, looking at her with its ruby-red eyes.
Its pink nose twitched rhythmically, its small appearance was incredibly cute, instantly hitting Su Jiu, a furry animal enthusiast.
She gasped.
“This rabbit…” She paused, leaned down, gently picked up the rabbit that was squatting obediently in place, and gently stroked its soft fur with her fingers, feeling the hot temperature of the animal’s body beneath the fur.
“Little rabbit, it’s almost dark. Why are you still here? Where are your family?”
Rabbits in the back mountain are known for their instincts; they return to their burrows before dark and usually don’t linger outside for long.
Su Jiu picked it up and looked around but didn’t see any other rabbits.
She let out a small sound, standing up while holding the rabbit, hesitating for a while but not daring to put it down.
After all, the rabbits in Mengxi Valley are notoriously timid. She was afraid that if she set this one down, it would scare itself to death trying to find its way home.
Such things had happened before.
Although the rabbit in her arms seemed unafraid, even lazily yawning and squinting its eyes as if it were about to fall asleep.
“Alright then.” She raised her hand, intending to pat its head, but it turned its head away.
Her fingers rubbed the fur beneath its neck.
“It’s getting dark. I’ll take you back now, and tomorrow morning, I’ll bring you home.”
As the sky gradually darkened, Su Jiu carried the rabbit back to her room.
Originally, her neighbors were Mu Yunqing and Qi Chaoye, but one was at the Thinking Cliff, and the other hadn’t returned yet, leaving both sides dark.
Sitting alone in a large space, Su Jiu felt quite content.
Once inside, she placed the rabbit on the soft couch by the window. Although she knew that rabbits generally wouldn’t venture out at night, she was still worried it might jump out the window, so she used a talisman to seal it shut.
There was no other choice; she couldn’t use any spiritual power at the moment.
“Alright, you stay here quietly. I need to go take a bath first, and I’ll hold you again when I’m done, understand?”
Su Jiu lightly tapped its forehead with her fingertip, but it raised a paw and pushed her hand away. A glimmer flashed in its ruby-like eyes, and it turned its head away, resting its paw on its chin and lazily closing its eyes.
Generally, rabbits in Mengxi Valley are very clingy, often hanging onto the arms of the disciples, but this one was strange. Instead of clinging to her, it seemed to be saying, “Don’t bother me,” making Su Jiu feel a bit awkward.
She withdrew her hand and walked to the screen, taking off her outer clothes.
Even though she knew the rabbit had gained some intelligence, people didn’t treat them as fully conscious beings, so there was no need for gender separation.
Su Jiu was the same.
Once she removed her outer garment, she was left wearing only a halter top in begonia color and a light skirt.
It was now May, and the weather was getting warmer, so she wasn’t wearing anything under her skirt. Besides, she was going to bathe soon, so it was impossible to wear clothes.
Hearing some rustling, Qi Chaoye opened his eyes and saw this scene.
A young girl was facing him, slightly turned to the side.
Her skirt fell to the ground, revealing two long, slender, and fair legs.
The girl’s skin was extremely white, and her legs, which had rarely seen the sun, were even more dazzlingly pale. Every inch of her skin seemed to have grown just right, neither too plump nor too thin.
Her calves were smooth and beautiful, and her ankles and arches were very attractive.
A small red mole was marked on the inner side of her left ankle, resembling a drop of fresh blood, highlighting the surrounding skin’s whiteness.
Moving up, one could see the plump curves hidden beneath the small fabric.
The first thing Su Jiu did after gaining consciousness was to make herself a pair of soft, skin-tight underwear.
With the underwear, she felt secure wearing a skirt.
Qi Chaoye’s claws immediately gripped the cushion beneath him. With a tearing sound, Su Jiu turned her head in shock and saw the rabbit she had placed on the soft couch had torn apart her cushion!
She felt a jolt of panic, unable to comprehend how a rabbit could shred the cushion. She assumed it was just poor quality, and the rabbit might be getting restless.
She quickly stepped forward, picked up the rabbit, glanced at the torn cushion with pity, and said helplessly, “Okay, I know you’re bored, but I need to take a bath. I can’t bring you along, can I?”
Qi Chaoye lifted his head slightly.
Well, it wasn’t impossible.
Su Jiu felt as if she understood the meaning in the rabbit’s eyes.
She fell silent.
[This rabbit seems to be a bit of a lecher?]
Qi Chaoye was momentarily stunned.
He clearly hadn’t seen Su Jiu speak, yet why did he hear her voice?
