Chapter 3: Su Jingwen’s Illness Flared Up

“Third Uncle, what are you doing? Why are these silkworms sucking blood on me?”

Su Jingwen woke up and found silkworm pupae crawling on her body, which terrified her and made all her nerves tense. At the same time, she looked at Ding Laosan with wide, pleading eyes.

Ding Laosan said, “Wenwen, this is a folk remedy. It can help you desensitize. After this, your allergy won’t flare up again!”

Su Jingwen shook her head and said, “Third Uncle, I think you got smarter after you fainted and woke up.”

Just like the bully “Big Tiger” said, Third Uncle’s eyes really did have a new sparkle!

“Silly girl, isn’t it good to get smarter?”

Ding Laosan touched Su Jingwen’s belly, which had turned from blue to white, and was delighted: “Look, your belly—hasn’t it turned white?”

More than a dozen silkworm pupae split up and moved very quickly, clearing the blue toxin on Su Jingwen’s body!

Su Jingwen dared not look at the wriggling pupae. Since she was little, she had been terrified of crawling bugs.

She closed her eyes and said, “Silly Uncle, you’re just trying to make me happy, right? A few silkworm pupae can cure my congenital weird illness? Could it be that these pupae are even better than the top experts in big hospitals? Impossible, how could that be?”

Seeing she didn’t believe him, Ding Laosan noticed the pupae on her belly had shifted, half crawling up her tender neck to clean toxins there, and the other half moving toward her two thighs.

He picked up her phone, took a close-up photo of her belly, and showed it to her.

Su Jingwen looked at her belly and almost couldn’t believe her eyes: “Ah! Silly Uncle, it really did turn white—so white! Is that really my belly?”

Ding Laosan laughed: “Stubborn girl, you don’t even believe your Third Uncle! If it’s not your belly, then whose belly would it be?”

Su Jingwen playfully reached out and touched Ding Laosan’s dark-skinned belly and giggled: “My silly Uncle’s belly is so flat! Forty years old and still no signs of aging—still so flat. Oh my god, I like Uncle’s belly. Let me touch it!”

Then she playfully ran her small hands over Ding Laosan’s belly.

Suddenly, she accidentally touched a sensitive spot and screamed in shock, “Silly Uncle, how come… you think about women too? You’re a bad boy! You’re not honest!”

Ding Laosan mentally wailed: I’m only in my twenties inside my head! I’m forty on the outside, okay? At that age, a young man full of vigor, if he doesn’t think about women, what kind of man is he?

“Stubborn girl, be polite to your Third Uncle. Didn’t you touch it yourself?”

Su Jingwen knew she was in the wrong and kept silent.

Her beautiful almond-shaped eyes half-closed, and suddenly she felt an itch around her neck.

Looking pale, she said, “Silly Uncle, did those creepy bugs crawl to my chest?”

“Yes, they did. Don’t underestimate these silkworm pupae. They’re cleaning the blue toxins for you. They’re even better than the best doctors in hospitals! Once your congenital illness is cured, you’ll thank them.”

Ding Laosan had initially not believed it, but now he couldn’t deny it. The “Medicine Immortal Space” was real, and the fairy “Red Cherry” inside it was real too! The golden silkworm herb really could cure Su Jingwen’s congenital illness. It was all true!

“Silly Uncle, where did you find these creepy silkworm pupae?”

Ding Laosan said, “I found them on the mountain.”

For a moment, he didn’t know how to explain more. He certainly couldn’t say he had opened a Medicine Immortal Space.

“Ah! Silly Uncle, the villagers say you’re dumb, but in my eyes, you’re the smartest man!”

Suddenly Su Jingwen screamed, “Silly Uncle, something’s wrong with my waist!”

“What’s wrong with your waist?”

Ding Laosan was startled and hurriedly lifted her shirt to take a look.

“Touch it yourself—I feel like I’ve lost all sensation here,” Su Jingwen said, pinching the area near her lower back. When she realized there was no feeling, she grabbed Ding Laosan’s rough hand and placed it on her waist.

With a pained expression, she said, “I’m doomed. Am I paralyzed? Is this the end for me?”

“You mean this? It’s just that while the pupae were clearing out the toxins, they also drained most of your energy and vitality. After the treatment is done, rest for a few days and you’ll be back to normal.”

Ding Laosan cursed silently—when the Medicine Fairy gave him the golden silkworm herb, she hadn’t mentioned any side effects!

“Silly Uncle, hearing you say that, I feel reassured. I trust you. I know you’d never hurt me.”

Half an hour later, the ten golden silkworms finished their diligent work, completely clearing the blue toxins from Su Jingwen’s body.

That fair-skinned, radiant beauty had returned!

Looking at her rosy complexion and sparkling eyes, Ding Laosan was dumbstruck.

“So white… so fair!”

But then he felt troubled again. If only his body were twenty years younger—then he could openly pursue Su Jingwen!

Su Jingwen, still half in disbelief, looked into the mirror. Her jaw dropped. “Whoa! So fair-skinned! Silly Uncle, is that pretty girl in the mirror really me?”

She still couldn’t believe it.

“If it’s not you, then what—me?” Ding Laosan teased.

Su Jingwen, overjoyed, said, “Thank you, Silly Uncle! You’re amazing! I want to reward you—put your lips on mine. Hurry!”

Seeing Su Jingwen’s soft cherry lips, Ding Laosan gulped loudly. Shamefully, indecent thoughts began to take root. His mind became hazy, and he leaned in and kissed her mouth greedily…

“Ah! Silly Uncle, you’re a perv! I’m not your girlfriend—one or two kisses are fine, but you’re going overboard!”

Su Jingwen, blushing furiously, pushed Ding Laosan away.

Ding Laosan chuckled, “Blame yourself—you’re just too beautiful.”

But deep down he thought, No, this can’t go on. I need to find a way to release all this pent-up emotion—or I’ll explode!

This body’s previous owner was a forty-year-old virgin, never even had a wife.

Just as he was about to sneak back to his room and, well, “deal with things,” Su Jingwen called out sweetly, “Where are you going!”

“Back to my room?” Ding Laosan replied innocently.

He quickly put the golden silkworm herb back into a porcelain bottle, ready to bolt. But Su Jingwen suddenly turned bashful and said, “Silly Uncle, I can’t get up and walk… What if I need to pee? I really need to pee—can you carry me to the bathroom?”

Ding Laosan said, “I’ll go find a woman from the village. If I carry you, you’ll accuse me of taking advantage of you!”

Truth be told, he was tempted—he’d get to see everything up close.

But then he remembered: he’s a forty-year-old uncle now. He couldn’t bring himself to do it.

“I don’t want anyone else to carry me. It’d be too embarrassing if word got out. I only want you—Silly Uncle, pleeease!”

Su Jingwen was close to bursting.
