Chapter 10
Wei Liangchen smiled. “I remember Miss Ning likes to eat this too,” he picked one up and put it in her bowl.
Ning Xiujun: !! When did she say that?
Actually, she was allergic to shrimp and crab.
But since the Young Master had given her some, she naturally had to accept it. She gave a slight smile, her face slightly flushed. “Thank you.”
Jinye was stunned. Young Master Wei was amazing, after a night of passion, even the fierce and independent Miss Ning was now a soft touch.
She went to grab another one, but his chopsticks followed. Jinye glared at him, he sneered, “One isn’t enough.”
Ning Xiujun: I have enough.
Young Master Wei picked up two more in a row.
There was only one left in the plate. Jinye refused to let him have it. As soon as she picked it up, Wei Liangchen pressed down on her chopsticks with his own. She pushed his chopsticks away, and he grabbed it again. Four pairs of chopsticks were fighting over the plate.
Mrs. Wei and Wei Jiaqi looked at one, then the other. They knew they didn’t get along before, but they didn’t expect it to be so intense.
“Ahem!” Mrs. Wei glared at her son. “How old are you, still fighting with your sister over a snack?”
Jinye took advantage of his pause and grabbed the shrimp dumpling, popping it into her mouth. Wei Liangchen was still not giving up, he stood up and pinched her cheek. “Spit it out!”
“I won’t.” Jinye was about to cry, her two black eyes looked like they were soaked in water.
He was stunned for a moment, then he let go. “Is it necessary? It’s just a shrimp dumpling, don’t cry if you can’t have it.”
“It’s so good, I cried because it’s delicious.” Jinye chewed, her cheeks puffed out. “It’s really so delicious, you wouldn’t understand how good it is.”
Wei Liangchen frowned, his eyes were about to burst into flames.
“Alright, alright, Liangchen, sit down.” Mrs. Wei couldn’t stand it anymore. “Xiujun, don’t mind them, these siblings have always had a bit of a conflict.”
“Really?” Ning Xiujun felt something was off, but her heart was a little more settled than yesterday. She put the remaining shrimp dumpling in Jinye’s bowl, relieved. “I love to eat them too, but I can’t eat that much.”
Just then, Wei Jiaxin came in. “Third Sister, you haven’t finished breakfast yet, it’s already so late.” Then she greeted them, “Good morning, Mrs. Wei, good morning, Second Brother.”
Jinye took the opportunity to say, “I’m full.”
She didn’t touch the shrimp dumpling.
She didn’t look at a certain someone again. “Jiaqi, are you coming with us? If not, Jiaxin and I will go first.”
Wei Jiaqi’s school was two streets away, but it was on the way.
“I’ll take them.” Wei Liangchen picked up Wei Jiaqi, who was still chewing on a vegetarian dumpling.
He also took the plate of buns in front of him.
Wei Jiaqi: !!
The Warlord’s children went to school in a car driven by the mansion’s driver, a standard Ford sedan. Usually, Jinye and Jiaxin would sit together, sometimes Jiaqi would also sit with them, but she usually woke up late and took a different car.
Wei Liangchen shoved Wei Jiaxin in first, then let Wei Jiaxin get in. Before Jinye could get in, he pulled her aside.
Wei Liangchen said, “Little Jin offended Miss Ning yesterday, I need to settle the score with her. You two go first.”
“Ah?” Wei Jiaqi was startled. “Brother, take it easy, she’s on a blind date with Zhou Siwei now, you should give him some face.”
He didn’t get angry until this was brought up. “Mind your own business!”
Wei Jiaxin was even more anxious. “Second Brother, don’t hit Third Sister, I beg you.”
“I’m not hitting her.” Wei Liangchen closed the car door and told the driver to drive.
Deputy Commander Shen’s car followed closely behind. Jinye was dumbfounded as he shoved her into the car. The next second, he got in himself.
The familiar, powerful sense of oppression came over her.
Wei Liangchen didn’t wear cologne except for when he attended banquets. His clothes smelled of soapwort and sunshine, plus his strong male pheromones, which made her heart tremble.
“Wei Liangchen, are you crazy?” Jinye rarely called him by his full name.
Only when she was very angry, or, at that time.
He was holding her legs, swaying, forcing her to call him by his full name.
Her soft, sweet voice, like a cat scratching at someone’s heart, made him even more out of control.
Wei Liangchen pressed down on her hand as she tried to open the door. “Dare you get out and try?”
His eyes were fierce, but he was still holding a plate of buns.
It was more deadly than holding a gun. Jinye was afraid that the buns would be thrown at her, ruining her school uniform.
She didn’t have time to change into another one.
Seeing that she was obedient, Wei Liangchen handed the buns to Deputy Commander Shen. Deputy Commander Shen, of course, knew they weren’t for him. He drove with one hand and carefully placed the buns in the front passenger seat with the other.
Wei Liangchen wiped a little oil off his hand. “You’re getting more and more ambitious, stealing my food.”
“You weren’t going to eat it anyway.”
Seeing her puffed up with anger, Wei Liangchen regained a little smile, his eyes narrowed slightly. “Jealous?”
Deputy Commander Shen knew all about their business, he didn’t say a word, and even pulled down the sunshade. He had just installed it himself, to prevent it from getting needle holes, and he also very consciously plugged his ears.
Jinye said, “I’m not.”
Seeing Wei Liangchen about to hug her, she moved to the side. “Don’t even think about touching me again.”
Her eyes were still wet, her two braids, which had been a little messy from her struggle, fell in front of her. Wei Liangchen wanted to smooth them out, but she dodged back.
His eyes narrowed, his temper flared again. “You don’t want me to touch you, who do you want to touch? Zhou Siwei? Or someone else?”
Jinye’s heart skipped a beat. “It’s none of your business.” She looked like she was facing a great enemy. “You already have Miss Ning.”
He stared at her intently. “So, you want to draw a line between us?”
“Yes.” Jinye didn’t want to share a cucumber with anyone else. “Didn’t we say that before?”
They had agreed that once either party had a relationship with someone else, they couldn’t maintain this relationship anymore.
“What did we say? I don’t remember.”
“You’re being a scoundrel!”
Wei Liangchen laughed angrily. “Who’s the scoundrel? Do you want me to count how many favors you owe me? Should I start from when Secretary Wang slept with the actress and got syphilis and was kicked out by the Inspector General? Or should I start from when Deputy Commander Wu had a heart attack on his little mistress’s bed?”
Seeing Jinye tremble, he stopped smiling. “Can you count them all? Plus, I invited doctors from overseas, I used the best medicine for your aunt. You have backbone, pay back all of this, and then draw a line between us.”
Jinye was stunned. He meant that one year wasn’t enough to pay back.
“I can be your sister, care about you, be on your side, except for this one thing, I’ll do whatever you want, just like Jiaqi.”
He sneered, his eyes dark and gloomy. “Are you Jiaqi? Do you have Wei family blood in you? I have several sisters, do I need you?”
He asked a series of questions, leaving Jinye speechless, her body was trembling.
Wei Liangchen’s expression softened slightly, he pulled her towards him. “Look, I just said a few words to you, your hands are already icy. Is what you see the truth?”
Jinye looked a little dazed. “What do you mean?”
Wei Liangchen pecked her lips. “It means I wasn’t on the mountain last night.”
