Chapter 7

Ning Xiujun’s grip on the gun tightened. Her emotions were affected, and by the last round, she didn’t perform well, only hitting ninety-four rings.

If Xu Jinye had performed well, she could have overtaken her.

Everyone watching was a little nervous.

In the end, Xu Jinye didn’t perform well either, she was still one ring behind Ning Xiujun, with ninety-three rings.

“You won, Cousin, you won.” Yang Xin was sweating. “Young Master Wei, you have to fulfill your promise.”

The weather was still a little hot, everyone was sweating, they went to the changing room to change clothes.

Jinye had just changed and came out when she met Ning Xiujun.

The next second, Jinye looked towards the door, thankfully no one had passed by. She closed the door. “What are you doing?”

The light inside was dim, making him look even taller, like a shadow falling over her, the sense of oppression was everywhere.

Wei Liangchen’s gaze was gloomy. “You’ve gotten bold, you dare to play tricks on my blind date, aren’t you afraid of being your future sister-in-law?”

“Is she?” Jinye asked.

Wei Liangchen’s eyes darkened even further, then became a little nonchalant. “Do you hope she is or do you hope she isn’t?”

Jinye was more concerned about whether someone would suddenly barge in, what if Ning Xiujun realized no one was behind her and came back to look?

“You’re the one getting married, not me.”

Jinye pushed him, but she couldn’t move him. She turned her head. “Who dares to be angry with Young Master Wei?”

Wei Liangchen turned her chin back with a large hand. “What are you afraid of? You even dared to stand me up. I asked you to wear a cheongsam to welcome me, you didn’t come, and you even asked me for money. I haven’t settled the score with you yet.”

“Mrs. Wei pulled me to play cards.”

“Who were you playing cards for?” His eyes suddenly darkened, his large hand slid to the back of her neck.

Her skin was smooth and soft, it felt good to touch. Wei Liangchen applied a little force, and her head tilted back, her fair little face facing him, her eyes sparkling with water.

His gaze fell on her soft lips, his Adam’s apple bobbed, his voice was a little husky. “Stay at the villa on the mountain with me tonight, and I’ll forgive you.”

Young Master Wei knew how to turn the tables. Jinye was annoyed. “I don’t have time, I have to go see my aunt this afternoon.”

“There are two maids taking care of her, it’s the same whether you go or not. I’ll take you tomorrow.”

“I have class tomorrow.”

Wei Liangchen’s laughter grew louder, but his pupils were as black as ink. The hand around her waist tightened. “How good? You knew he was good the first time you met him?”

The small mole at the corner of his eye seemed to twitch, the dark, fierce energy in his eyes surged out instantly. The hand on the back of her neck rubbed, ready to cut off her air supply at any moment.

Jinye didn’t expect him to react so strongly.

Wei Liangchen at this moment was like a leopard about to charge, extremely dangerous. Jinye’s courage from before instantly vanished, she lied through her teeth. “You can’t judge a book by its cover, maybe he’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a monster in human skin—”

It was Ning Xiujun!

The sound was getting closer, almost at the door.

“Young Master Wei.” Ning Xiujun actually knocked on the door.

Knock, knock, knock, like knocking on Jinye’s heart. This Ning Xiujun was too hasty, she didn’t know she thought she was catching her husband cheating.

Wei Liangchen kissed her again, Jinye was about to suffocate, but she didn’t dare to make a sound, so she could only pinch his armpit.

His mouth finally released her, he said with a smug mouth shape, “Tonight, the villa.”

Jinye’s chest was heaving, she wanted to punch him. “I promise you.” She mouthed back.

Wei Liangchen finally smiled contentedly, he sucked on her lips before straightening up, adjusting his collar and going out.
