Chapter 82: The Savior in Pink
Seeing Su You’s corpse, senior Kong Qing and others felt a burst of satisfaction.
Among them, Fu Ru cursed the loudest, “You bastard! You had it today! After a life of evil, you reap what you sow. The person you desired hates you to the bone, and this is your retribution! Your life is pathetic! Besides enemies, you have nothing—no friends, no family, no lover, just yourself!”
Kong Qing sighed, “I wonder if he had any regrets at the end.”
Chi Muyao looked at Su You’s corpse and sighed, “The only thing he regretted was regarding Yu Chaoluo. After all, he was cold to the core and cared about nothing except Yu Chaoluo. This is why he had to die.”
Chi Muyao and Xi Huai couldn’t find any useful clues from Su You, so they followed the map Fu Ru had given them to find a way out.
Chi Muyao analyzed the map and said, “Su You mentioned in the Heart Demon Realm that if only one person remained, they would need his help to open the formation to leave. This means Su You tampered with the exit.”
Xi Huai agreed, “I guess there’s a restriction that no one else can break except him. Now we can only hope that the restriction can be broken with my Nascent Soul cultivation or that these seniors you brought have some method.”
“We can only check when we reach the exit.”
Chi Muyao walked through the formation with the map. When the formation was activated, Xi Huai took the opportunity to refine some defensive artifacts.
Both of them had increased their cultivation, but they couldn’t attract the tribulation lightning while trapped in the formation.
When they leave the formation, the tribulation lightning will descend. Xi Huai wanted to ensure they both could pass the tribulation smoothly, so he needed to refine some defensive artifacts.
He refined everything they had salvaged from the spiritual spring, whatever was found on Su You, and what he had stored in his treasure bell, then placed them all on Chi Muyao.
Chi Muyao, being a disciple of the Hehuan Sect, usually walked lightly, but now he felt heavy due to the many defensive artifacts he was wearing.
“All on me?” Chi Muyao pointed at himself.
“You’re too weak.”
“…” Chi Muyao rolled his eyes at Xi Huai in displeasure.
“You’re weak and can’t admit it? Fine, your pride is strong, and that’s commendable.”
“Enough, shut up.” Chi Muyao nodded in resignation. His cultivation partner could only be gentle for a few days.
They had only been cultivation partners for a few days, the biggest enemy in the formation had just been resolved, and Xi Huai’s words were already becoming unpleasant again.
It was his own fault for having any unreasonable expectations for Xi Huai’s mouth.
During this time, Chi Muyao held the lamp and searched for other companions of Kong Qing and other seniors within the formation.
After a long time, the seniors no longer expected to find everyone.
Kong Qing sighed, “This time, with cultivators in the formation, some may have already been killed by them. Gathering everyone has become a fantasy. It’s already good to have the current situation. If you can leave later, just go and don’t worry about us.”
Chi Muyao patiently asked, “Would you seniors be willing to leave the formation with me?”
Kong Qing suddenly smiled, “It’s already very difficult for the two of you to leave together, and you want to bring us along? That’s quite a challenge.”
“I have a spirit pet bag. I can put you all inside. As long as I get out safely, you can come out with me.”
Kong Qing and others naturally didn’t want to stay in the formation any longer. After a brief discussion, they agreed to take the risk with Chi Muyao.
Staying here meant endless dark years; it was better to try to leave and see what the outside world had become.
Xi Huai was long used to the sight of Chi Muyao talking to a bunch of bugs. He glanced casually and continued studying the defensive artifacts in his hands.
Suddenly, he sensed something and walked towards a gap in the formation the moment it activated.
This gap was not on their pre-planned route, but Chi Muyao followed him, asking, “What’s going on?”
As soon as they entered the room, they were surrounded by attacks. Xi Huai immediately cast a spell to protect Chi Muyao while looking at the golden stream of light floating in the air.
“It’s the guiding golden light from Qing Ze Sect. My father and the others are trying to save us!” Xi Huai was overjoyed to see the golden light. It was the first news they had from the outside world since being in the formation.
While they struggled to survive inside, people outside the formation, including those from Qing Ze Sect, were trying to rescue them.
Chi Muyao also became excited, unable to hide the smile on his face, and asked, “What does this light represent?”
“It’s a guide and a pathfinder.” Xi Huai infused the golden light with spiritual power. After receiving the information, he told Chi Muyao, “My father set up a teleportation array in the formation for us. We can leave through it. We just need to follow this light to find the teleportation array.
“Where there’s a will, there’s a way. They had been worried about Su You’s tampering with the exit, but now Xi Lin had created a new path for them.Chi Muyao was happy for a moment but quickly calmed down, “Setting up a teleportation array in this Heaven’s Punishment Formation must have cost the sect master greatly.”
Just thinking about it seemed incredibly difficult.
Xi Huai realized this too, and after a moment of silent contemplation, he grabbed Chi Muyao’s hand, “Don’t worry about that now. Let’s get out first, or their efforts will be wasted.”
“Alright!”
Seeing the golden light, they were both invigorated, as if they could leave this damned Heaven’s Punishment Formation the next moment and return to the familiar world, with no more dangers.

Nuan Yan Pavilion.
Three Abodes.
Guan Nan Tianzun finally emerged from seclusion, and Yu Yanshu, who had been waiting for him, was overjoyed.
Not only him, but many disciples of the Three Abodes were also waiting for him and greeted him outside his cave residence.
Guan Nan Tianzun scanned the crowd and said in a deep voice, “Those who have something to say, follow me.”
He always disliked such occasions and found them bothersome.
Yu Yanshu and a few others followed him, reporting the recent events in the sect. When he heard about Nuan Yan Pavilion’s recent plans, he paused but then continued towards the main hall.
In the end, only Yu Yanshu followed him.
Seeing that Yu Yanshu remained silent, Guan Nan Tianzun didn’t urge him, knowing his matter might need to avoid others. He took Yu Yanshu to the main hall, set up a barrier, and then sat in his seat, “Speak.”
“Master, this action by Nuan Yan Pavilion is somewhat opportunistic!”
“What’s going on?” Guan Nan Tianzun had only heard about their actions but didn’t know the details.
Yu Chaoluo adjusted his emotions before speaking, “I need to start with the Heaven’s Punishment Formation.”
“Heaven’s Punishment Formation?” Guan Nan Tianzun frowned, as he had been in seclusion before the formation appeared.
“That’s right,” Yu Yanshu began to explain the entire sequence of events surrounding the Heaven’s Punishment Formation. He added, “Even the young master of Qing Ze Sect, Xi Huai, got caught in the formation. For the past two years, Qing Ze Sect has been building a teleportation array to connect to the formation and rescue Xi Huai. However, this array consumes a vast amount of resources, and many of Qing Ze Sect’s Nascent Soul stage cultivators have expended significant spiritual energy. They are currently severely depleted and haven’t recovered, yet Nuan Yan Pavilion is planning to lead all the major sects to attack the Demon Sect, which is clearly taking advantage of others’ misfortune!”
After the former head of Nuan Yan Pavilion perished, Xian Yue Tianzun became the acting head. Many knew that within two years, Xian Yue Tianzun would likely become the official head.
Now, Xian Yue Tianzun needed to do something to prove herself.
She had always opposed any peace agreements with the Demon Sect. As soon as she became the acting head, the first thing she did was tear up the agreement and began settling old scores.
Now, she wanted to take advantage of Qing Ze Sect exhausting its resources to save Xi Huai by leading an attack on the Demon Sect. She indiscriminately demanded that any sect that had dealings with Nuan Yan Pavilion must join the attack.
Her goal was to annihilate the Demon Sect in one fell swoop.
Yu Yanshu, usually a calm person, was pacing in the room, agitatedly saying, “Not to mention that even a peaceful sect like Yu Chong Sect was forcibly invited, just the way this is being handled is disgraceful!”
The Demon Sect can go all out to save one person, but what about us? So many disciples were caught in the Heaven’s Punishment Formation, and our sect has done nothing, letting them face danger without any help.
“Since the Demon Sect built the teleportation array, we could politely ask them to help rescue our disciples as well. But no, instead they choose to attack the Demon Sect!”
Is this still a righteous sect? This is the behavior of petty villains! How did Nuan Yan Pavilion become like this? The entire foundation of the sect is rotten and stinking. Am I the only one who sees the problem?”
Guan Nan Tianzun listened and then, after a moment of contemplation, sighed with his eyes closed.
He had lived longer than Yu Yanshu and experienced more. If not for his natural inclination to avoid meddling, he might have been as disappointed and disheartened as Yu Yanshu.
“Very disappointed, aren’t you?” Guan Nan Tianzun asked.
His words immediately calmed Yu Yanshu, who stopped pacing and knelt before him in distress, “Master, it shouldn’t be like this. Nuan Yan Pavilion should be chivalrous and righteous. How did it become like this?”
“Do as you see fit. If this matter isn’t resolved, you might develop inner demons.”
“Disciple just wants you to strive for the position of sect master. If it were you—”
“I’m not suitable,” Guan Nan Tianzun interrupted him, “My temperament isn’t right, and I have a weakness.”
Yu Yanshu was momentarily surprised before asking, “Is it because of Master’s wife?”
Thinking of Zhi Shan Tianzun, Guan Nan Tianzun’s eyes softened briefly before he said, “But I can help you.”
“Me?!” Yu Yanshu was shocked, “My rank is too low, my qualifications are still shallow…”
“One day you will grow up. Changing perceptions cannot be rushed.”
Yu Yanshu looked at Guan Nan Tianzun in disbelief. He had never thought he could compete for the position of sect master.
He was only in his twenties, how could he compare to seniors with a century of experience?
Guan Nan Tianzun continued, “If you cultivate with this obsession, you can smoothly advance to the Nascent Soul stage. Maintain a stable mindset, understand?”
“Yes.”
“You remind me of an old friend. Seeing you always brings him to mind, but I hope you will be stronger than him.”
Yu Yanshu suddenly thought of Yu Chaoluo mentioned by Su You.
He vaguely remembered this elder but wasn’t familiar with him, only recalling that Yu Chaoluo was very thin, unwilling to speak, but his eyes were extraordinarily gentle when looking at others.
Yu Yanshu stared at Guan Nan Tianzun for a long time before clenching his fist, “Master, I will try my best!”

Hello guys it’s SheWee!!
So first of all, many of you might be disappointed to know this but my translations are all MTL and I have little to no knowledge of Chinese. That is why I always use lots of different methods to Translate, tally all of them and in the end make a full translation. But still there are few things, for example names of people and things that are highly inconsistent in MTLs. So if there’s anyone who is interested in editing this novel for me might come forward to contact me. I will really appreciate it. It would be even better if you know at least a little bit of Chinese as well.
Thank you.
