Chief Yang Mingzhe entered and shouted, “Police! Don’t move! Put your hands up!”  Fu Yunting followed behind and was stunned to see Xia Yunxuan.  “How did you end up here?” he asked.

It seemed that this woman had dealt with these human traffickers quite effectively.  He hadn’t expected this seemingly delicate woman to be so skilled.

“That woman, do you remember me?  I haven’t had a chance to thank you for saving my life,” Fu Yunting said. “How did you end up here?”

Xia Yunxuan finally saw the man who had entered, the soldier she had saved on the mountain.  What a coincidence.

“There’s someone corrupt within your police department.  Those kidnappers let it slip, but they didn’t say who it was.  But you can guess that it must be someone high up.  Otherwise, why would those human traffickers know about your assignments in advance?”
