The two of them paid for the phone call and postage and rode their bicycles home, unaware that their grandfather was already planning to discipline his grandson.

After fifteen minutes, they arrived home.  They still had some time before work.  Xia Yunxuan asked, “Yichen, why don’t you rest here?  You don’t have to go back to the educated youth dormitory.  You’ll disturb others.”

Xiao Yichen said, “Xuanxuan, are you inviting me?  But I’d love to.”  He immediately lay down on the bed, adjusting his position.  “Xuanxuan, hurry up.  Don’t waste time.”

Xia Yunxuan thought, “What kind of wild words is he saying?  If outsiders heard this, they’d think we’re doing something wrong.  Is this inviting the wolf into the house?”

Xiao Yichen said, “Xuanxuan, what are you thinking?  Hurry up.  I can’t sleep without you.”

Xia Yunxuan said, “Then you’re telling me you haven’t slept this whole time?  You’re quite capable.”  She kicked him.  “Roll over.  You’re taking up the whole bed with your big frame.”

Xiao Yichen thought, “My wife is too fierce.  How do I deal with this?”

Xiao Yichen said, “Xuanxuan, don’t get cocky.  You’ll be my wife in a few days.  You’ll see how I’ll deal with you then.”

Xia Yunxuan immediately pushed Xiao Yichen down and looked at his face.  “I want to know how you’re going to deal with me right now.”

She acted like a hooligan and rubbed his abs.

Xiao Yichen said, “Xuanxuan, you’re playing with fire, you know that?  Don’t blame me if I take you right here and now.”

Xia Yunxuan said, “Come on, come on.  Who’s afraid of you?  We’ll fight for three hundred rounds.”

Xiao Yichen said, “You’re sure I won’t do anything to you now, aren’t you?  Don’t forget, there are other ways.”  He slapped Xia Yunxuan on the butt.

“Ouch!  You really hit me?  Grandma just said you can’t bully me.  You’re already hitting me.  I’m going to call Grandma and tell on you.”

Xiao Yichen said, “Xuanxuan, you act, you keep acting.  I’m getting a free show.”

Xia Yunxuan thought, “I’m a pro, and this newbie is giving me advice?  That’s not going to happen.”

She immediately used her skills.  Let’s see what else he could say.

“Yichen, stop acting.  Get up and go to work.  We’ll be late again.  How are you going to support me if you don’t work?”

Xiao Yichen said, “Xuanxuan, relax.  Even if I don’t work for a day, I can still support you.  I’m only working here because I don’t want people to gossip.”

A moment later, someone knocked on her door.  Xia Yunxuan opened the door and saw Da Bao.  “Sister Yun, the captain wants you to go to the brigade headquarters.  Someone is waiting for you.”

When she arrived at the brigade headquarters, she saw a car parked there.  The captain, the police chief she had met before, and Yang Haoran were standing nearby.  The captain saw Xia Yunxuan and waved her over.

“Yun Girl, this is Chief Yang from the county.  He came here specially for you.  You did a good deed, why didn’t you tell me?  You kept it a secret from everyone.”

Chief Yang said, “Xia comrade, I came here specially to thank you.  You saved so many people who were kidnapped.  I haven’t had a chance to thank you yet.”
