Chapter 3

Xia Yunxuan was drawing and writing with a pen, thinking about all the things she still needed to buy, hoping to give herself more time to stock up.

Since the villa was going to be sold, Xia Yunxuan put all the furniture, household items, clothes, and kitchenware into her space. She clapped her hands and felt relieved.

After putting everything away, she yawned and went to sleep. She would continue her shopping spree tomorrow.

The alarm woke Xia Yunxuan up in the morning. She stretched lazily and rubbed her eyes before getting out of bed. She had another dream.

She dreamt about the original owner again, being bullied by her sister. Her sister had already received hundreds of yuan in betrothal gifts. Xia Yunxuan said, “I want to buy cheese and milk powder. I need everything, for adults, children, and the elderly.” The Yiwu owner said, “We have everything here. Tell me how much you want, and I’ll write a list. I’ll deliver it to you later.”

Xia Yunxuan saw that they also sold snail noodles and various kinds of noodles. She bought tens of thousands of boxes. The owner said, “Okay, miss. Just pay a deposit, and we’ll deliver it to you later.”

Xia Yunxuan paid the deposit and asked him to deliver the goods later. She drove back home and ordered a lot of takeout on her phone, including all kinds of cooked food.

It wasn’t long before 2 pm arrived. The manager and a lawyer arrived with a couple to view the house. They were very satisfied with the house. Both parties agreed, and they signed and stamped the contract. The couple said, “Ms. Xia, thank you for solving our urgent need. We hope to cooperate with you again in the future.”

Xia Yunxuan politely replied, “You’re welcome. I hope you enjoy living here.” Soon after, Xia Yunxuan received a notification on her phone that several hundred million yuan had been transferred to her account.

After receiving the money, Xia Yunxuan handed the keys to the couple. They chatted for a while before she left because she still had things to buy.

She found a nearby hotel to stay for a few days. Who knows when she would be transported back? Now, the most important thing was to stock up on supplies.

After collecting some takeout, Xia Yunxuan drove around the city, buying everything she saw. The money was in her account, and she would be leaving the country tomorrow. She needed to get some weapons for protection.

For the entire afternoon, Xia Yunxuan hardly stopped. She was frantically buying supplies. She probably bought almost everything in the city.

She was glad she was leaving the country tomorrow to stock up. Otherwise, she might cause a panic. In the evening, she booked a flight for tomorrow, found a nearby hotel to stay in, and waited for the Yiwu owner to deliver the goods.

As a result of Xia Yunxuan’s shopping spree, many stores in the city were unable to restock and had to close for the day.

She went to the hotel, took a hot shower, and went to bed. She was exhausted from a day of shopping. She usually stayed up late, but today she was too tired.

Xia Yunxuan checked her list of things to buy. She had bought almost everything except for the things she would buy abroad. She turned around and went back to the hotel to rest. She had the earliest flight tomorrow.

She went back to the hotel and fell asleep soon after. She usually stayed up late, but today she was really tired.

The next morning, before dawn, the alarm went off. Xia Yunxuan was still half asleep. She remembered that she had important things to do today, so she quickly got up, washed her face, brushed her teeth, and checked out of the hotel. She then went to a breakfast shop.

After breakfast, she hailed a taxi and went to the airport. It wasn’t long before she heard the announcement that her flight was about to depart. She had to go to the gate to check in.

Xia Yunxuan pulled a suitcase and went to the gate. She boarded the plane soon after. It was the earliest flight, so there weren’t many people.

She found her seat, sat down, fastened her seatbelt, put on an eye mask, closed her eyes, and rested. She had gone to bed late and got up early, so she was still a little sleepy.

Xia Yunxuan slept very comfortably. When she woke up, the plane was about to land in a few minutes. The flight attendants asked everyone to prepare for landing.
