Chapter 28: Selectively

Dean Lin’s attendant, named Yi An, came over to picked up Doctor Zhou’s medicine box, and said respectfully, “Please follow me.”

Knock knock!

Yi An knocked on the door several times in succession.

The door opened from the inside out. The gatekeeper said impatiently, “Are you someone who can’t understand human speech…?”

The doorkeeper quickly opened the door.

Yi An and Doctor Zhou went in first. And Su Wan led Gu Jingyun and Gu Baozhu inside.

The gatekeeper screamed in agony.

Yi An sought help from Doctor Zhou.

Doctor Zhou felt self-reproach in his heart, unaware of Su Wan’s previous disdainful treatment.

He pleaded, “Young lady, it’s the old gentleman you saved yesterday, he’s feeling unwell again. Please consider saving a life to the end, send…”

“Let’s go.” Su Wan turned around and entered the academy.

She has a fiery temper, but there’s one good thing, her temper comes and goes quickly too.

Yi An breathed a sigh of relief, and twisted his sleeve to wipe the cold sweat from his forehead. He glared fiercely at the gatekeeper and hurried to the front to lead the way.

It’s over!

The gatekeeper sat on the ground in despair.

A group of people entered Dean Lin’s residence.

Dean Lin came out from the inner room, and saw Yi An bringing people over. When he caught sight of Su Wan walking at the back, he asked amiably, “Doctor Zhou, is this young lady the divine doctor who saved the old gentleman?”
