The Female Villain and Male Villain Have a Kid Now: Chapter 25-2

{“Hugging your waist.” 2}

Bian Yuan didn’t ignore her. “Do you still want to let them go?”

A thought surged in Yu Suye’s mind: being merciful to the enemy is cruel to oneself.

“I don’t want to.”

Bian Yuan turned the steering wheel with one hand, guiding the car back along the same route.

During this time, Bian Yuan intentionally—or perhaps unintentionally—amplified his emotions, allowing her to avoid the past constraints. It even gave her the illusion that he was indulging her.

Indulging her little temper.

Before stepping through that door again, Yu Suye felt for a moment as if she had transformed into Niugulu1 Suye. However, her aura was slightly diminished, but fortunately, she had the man behind her for support.

She scanned the room fearlessly.

“Zou Nan, is it you who rushed to gossip with my mom?”

Zou Nan exploded with anger. “How dare you come back here?”

It wasn’t that she couldn’t accept her niece’s lack of upbringing; it was that she had the audacity to openly look down on her family’s conditions. What infuriated her even more was that her normally weak and easily bullied sister was standing firm in support of her daughter.

“What, I come as a guest, and your family, at least, should be considered a well-off household. Is this how you treat your guests?”

“How can you consider yourself a guest?”

“Why shouldn’t I?”

Bian Yuan casually spoke, yet he seemed to intimidate the family. He placed one hand on Yu Suye’s waist, causing her to feel a tingling sensation; although she wasn’t used to this kind of support, for the sake of dealing with these terrible people, she figured she could tolerate it.

“Who is this…?”

Yu Suye had never introduced anyone in such an exaggerated and inaccurate way, but the words flowed out fluently.

“This is Mr. Bian from Bianji Group. He said that because I was bullied in this house today, he’s here to help me,” Yu Suye slipped away from Bian Yuan’s grasp, feeling that by saying this, there was no need for them to act so close. “He’s here to lend me a hand.”

But the moment she pulled away, Bian Yuan impressively wrapped her in his arms.

Zou Nan’s face turned pale.

Yu Suye added, “Mr. Bian is someone who stands up for fairness.”

Bian Yuan whispered in her ear, “Nonsense.”

Then he strolled into the center of the living room, interrogating Zou Nan, “When is your husband coming home?”

“He’ll be home… soon.”

Zou Nan stood there awkwardly, trying to twist the narrative.

“Mr. Bian, don’t listen to this girl’s nonsense. You have no idea how much I’ve sacrificed for this family. I’m just trying to mend her relationship with her grandparents, but she’s ungrateful.”

But the explanations were weak.

Bian Yuan always had that look of “I hear you, but I am not listening.” He acted nonchalant, and if he hadn’t originally been earnest in wanting to help, Yu Suye couldn’t imagine him caring about such trivial family matters.

But Bian Yuan’s presence here felt natural.

Yu Suye thought he wasn’t here to administer justice; he seemed more like someone come to collect a debt.

Her grandfather, however, didn’t seem as composed as she had imagined.

First, he offered his business card, and when the other party refused to take it, he didn’t get angry but instead began to praise Bian Yuan’s past projects.

The contrast between his obsequiousness now and his earlier harshness towards children was stark.

Yu Suye couldn’t believe the old man could shamelessly say such absurd things, “You are my granddaughter’s friend, which makes you a friend of the Zou family.”

At that moment, Yu Suye began to admire how impervious Bian Yuan was to such antics.

His calm indifference cast a shadow over him, a shadow that was hard to fool, clearly distinguishing him from those of low character.

Zou Nan’s husband returned.

Mr. Xu bowed and apologized profusely, practically wishing his wife had never caused such a scene. They never intended to provoke someone connected to Bian Yuan.

Mr. Xu quickly grasped the situation.

“Old man, didn’t you just go and throw a fit at that young girl?”

The old man was so flustered he jumped up, immediately defending himself, “How could I ever bully my own granddaughter?”

He even went out of his way to emphasize their closeness by affirming she was his “granddaughter.”

This only made Yu Suye feel more ironic.

Mr. Xu thought he had made a connection with his relatives and wanted to take the opportunity to discuss cooperation with Bianji, especially since Bian Yuan was visiting his home in person.

But he failed to recognize the situation.

Bian Yuan’s opening remark was icy cold: “In the future, can you keep your wife and father-in-law in check?”

Yu Suye interjected sharply, truly “borrowing the tiger’s might.” “No more messages to my mom. Since you’ve cut ties, do it completely. If you say another word to her, it won’t end so easily.”

Bian Yuan glanced back at her—just a brief look, yet it seemed to convey a very clear message.

He was quite satisfied with her response.

This only strengthened Yu Suye’s conviction about her initial judgment: Bian Yuan was clearly indulging her, wanting to see the same arrogance reflected in her face.
