The Female Villain and Male Villain Have a Kid Now: Chapter 5-1

{“Susu, I miss you so much” 1}

The man’s figure was tall and upright, his meticulously styled black wool coat already draped over his arm, and beside him was indeed a child dressed just as formally.

The child’s appearance was just as heartwarming as the encounter on the street the day before.

It touched her deeply, nurturing the once dry part of her soul.

In Yu Suye’s mind, she had already started imagining things.

For example, how a cold-hearted capitalist might have been deceived by another woman abroad, resulting in him returning with a child by his side.

Meeting the new wealthy elite in the country for the first time, she accidentally stumbled upon his private affairs.

Yu Suye felt nervous.

Unexpectedly, the butler was even more nervous than she was.

Butler Mo hurried to Bian Yuan’s side, standing a full head shorter than this imposing CEO, yet he chattered away like an old-fashioned elder to the young man. The young man didn’t seem impatient but listened carefully to every word the old butler said, only waving him away after he had finished speaking.

If it weren’t for Bian Yuan’s overwhelming presence, Yu Suye might have stepped forward to introduce herself.

Butler Mo left.

Now, it was just her, feeling out of place.

Yu Suye never expected the old butler would leave her there without introducing her or making arrangements for her departure.

For a moment, she didn’t know what to do. She thought about leaving, but the father and daughter were still blocking the castle door. If she stayed, the trivial matters regarding Lin Wushen didn’t seem worth bringing up.

Maybe she should sneak away?

Yu Suye wasn’t a coward, but she had never met someone on the same level as Bian Yuan before.

At this moment, she understood Xu Wanwan’s feelings. Even someone as naturally outgoing as herself felt immense pressure, let alone others.

As she watched, the tall and lean man patiently changed the girl’s shoes. Yu Suye became even more convinced of their father-daughter relationship.

But how could changing shoes take so long?

Since the butler left, Yu Suye realized five whole minutes had passed.

Wouldn’t a child get impatient with such a slow parent?

And just as this thought crossed Yu Suye’s mind, the little girl indeed spoke up, “Why do you take so long to change shoes?”

Every word the girl said, even her complaint about Bian Yuan, sounded unbelievably soothing to Yu Suye’s ears.

Suddenly, Yu Suye felt the castle wasn’t so eerie after all.

At least, the little girl seemed quite normal.

She no longer wanted to introduce herself and potentially cause trouble.

Since this same feeling had occurred twice, it confirmed her suspicion. All she needed to do was create opportunities to meet Bian Yuan’s daughter in the future, and that would suffice.

There was no need to greet Bian Yuan directly anymore.

It wasn’t that Yu Suye disliked Bian Yuan, but their social positions were clear. She had no hidden agenda to climb the social ladder, so there was no need to ingratiate herself.

She curled up in the corner of the sofa, waiting for the father and daughter to finish with the shoes.

Finally, there was hope.

The incredibly intelligent Bian Yuan finally completed the “important task” of putting the child’s slippers on.

Yu Suye was just about to slip away quietly.

But by coincidence, or perhaps it was the fault of the alluring pomegranate that got her in trouble, she accidentally tripped as she passed behind the sofa.

Yu Suye watched as the plump pomegranate rolled…and rolled…until it ended up at Bian Yuan’s feet.

As if it wasn’t enough to shamelessly visit uninvited, how could she also covet their fruit?

Yu Suye felt embarrassed.

However, in the next moment, the pink-cheeked little dumpling suddenly lifted her chin, her eyes filled with pure joy. That joy transcended life’s ordinary experiences, surpassing all emotions.

It was as if the girl recognized the importance of Yu Suye’s presence.

Yu Suye began to believe that maybe “destiny” really existed.

But the little girl didn’t speak right away; instead, she looked expectantly at the cold man beside her.

The man gave his silent approval.

Only then did the girl suddenly hug Yu Suye’s legs.

Yu Suye then felt a warm flow pass through her heart.

She heard the little girl whisper softly, “Su Su, I missed you so much.”

That voice seemed to penetrate all space and time.

No moment had ever felt more real than this.

Yu Suye no longer cared about the “bad man.” Her heart was now filled with warmth.

She knew that it was unconventional to interact with someone else’s child like this in their home.

So, she reluctantly turned to the man beside her and explained, “Mr. Bian, I apologize for coming here again to bother you because of the birthday party.”

“No problem.”

The man spoke calmly, one hand lifting the long wool coat he had taken off.

Yu Suye wasn’t sure why, but she actually helped this unfamiliar man tidy up his coat and smoothly hung it on the antique coat rack.

After doing all this, there was no “thank you” from the man.

But in Bian Yixing’s eyes, she felt as if she had returned to the days when her parents were affectionate.

When her father came home late, her mother, though unhappy about him working late, would still take care of him. At that time, there would always be a rare midnight snack prepared late at night.

Although the snack was supposed to be for her father’s health, most of it would end up in her belly.
