Chapter 21 Is Jiang Tiantian Giving Me a Wife?
Qin Mo took her to a three-story building with a Republic of China-style decoration – Shuhui Xiaoguan.
Surrounded by large white gardenias.
Overall retro and noble.
The car stopped at the door, and someone immediately greeted them.
Qin Mo and she got out of the car, and someone took the car keys and parked the car. Another attendant in a vest shirt with a smile on his face respectfully led them to a private room on the third floor.
The dining table and chairs are all made of yellow rosewood, with small square tables and chairs of the same color.
The two sat down, and Qin Mo ordered the food.
Jiang Wansheng was a little surprised and felt that the portion was a bit too much.
After the waiter left, she asked, “Are there any other guests?”
Qin Mo chuckled, “No.”
“Then why did you order so much?”
“Taste each dish, and if you can’t finish, we’ll pack it.” Qin Mo said casually.
Jiang Wansheng clicked her tongue.
Extravagant.
She felt that the price of each dish here was excessive.
They could have just robbed directly, but they still had to open a restaurant.
Qin Mo quietly observed Jiang Wansheng’s taste, which was why he ordered so many dishes.
However, he found that this little girl ate very slowly, chewing slowly with every bite, and her eyes would squint involuntarily when she liked something.
So cute.
He chuckled lightly, “Do you like all these dishes?”
Jiang Wansheng was still chewing and could only nod.
Just now, his chuckle was a bit hoarse, with a hint of laziness and pleasantness.
Somehow, the light laughter of the little uncle suddenly made her think of the man’s gasping and voice on the Ming Yin side, which was also very provocative and… seductive.
Realizing what she was thinking, her earlobes suddenly felt hot, and there was a moment of guilty panic.
Ah.
Stop thinking.
As Qin Mo watched, he suddenly noticed that the girl’s head was getting lower and lower, her earlobes showing a strange blush, and her chewing speed slowing down. He raised his sharp eyebrows and asked casually, “What are you thinking?”
Jiang Wansheng was startled, choked on what was in her mouth, and coughed uncontrollably.
Her clear eyes were filled with watery meaning, and her earlobes were even redder.
Qin Mo stood up and walked over, squatting beside her, lowering one knee, patting her back with moderate force, somewhat helplessly, “Can you be scared by this?”
He handed her a glass of water, watched her drink it, and only spoke after she finished drinking, “Jiang Sweetie, what bad things are you thinking about.”
Jiang Wansheng couldn’t speak, she couldn’t say that she associated the little uncle’s laughter with a man’s light gasping.
Qin Mo squatted beside her, his gaze level with hers, his deep black eyes now carrying a smile, his handsome features close to her, her watery eyes turning in panic, not daring to meet his gaze, “…I’m not thinking about anything.”
Qin Mo stared at her now blood-red earlobes, raised his eyebrows, in a good mood, and said meaningfully, “Oh.”
Jiang Wansheng felt a little uncomfortable being teased, pushed Qin Mo’s shoulder with a soft and boneless hand, “Little uncle, sit back, I’m fine.”
The boneless little hand placed on his shoulder through a thin shirt made Qin Mo feel a little numb on that piece of skin.
He stood up and sat back, but still didn’t let go of Jiang Wansheng, “Jiang Sweetie, your ears are so red, can’t you tell Uncle what you’re thinking?”
At the words, Jiang Wansheng subconsciously pinched her earlobe, found the temperature above it astonishingly hot, felt even more guilty, and now even her cheeks inevitably blushed.
Feeling unavoidable, she simply gave up on herself, “Little uncle, don’t laugh like that in the future.”
Qin Mo raised his eyebrows, a sound escaping his throat, “Hmm?”
“And don’t ‘hmm’ like that either.”
Qin Mo chuckled lazily, “Jiang Sweetie, you’re a bit unreasonable.”
“You, too, are too…” Jiang Wansheng frowned, her small face serious, hesitated for a while, and then spoke again, “not observing male virtues.”
How can it be so seductive.
Qin Mo was surprised by the girl’s words, his movements paused, his eyebrows raised, “Male virtues? Who should I observe male virtues for without a wife?”
“…” Jiang Wansheng couldn’t say anything.
“Then…” Qin Mo leaned back on the chair, supporting his chin with one hand, casually and elegantly, “Jiang Sweetie, give me a wife?”
At this, Jiang Wansheng waved her hands in fright.
Qin Mo lightly tapped the armrest, stopped teasing her, and spoke with a smile that was not a smile, “I won’t tease you anymore, eat quickly.”
…
Halfway through the meal, Qin Mo received a call and went out for a moment.
Jiang Wansheng was quietly eating, when suddenly there was a noise behind the door.
Has the little uncle come back in just a few minutes?
She turned back at the sound, “Little uncle…”
The voice was abruptly cut off upon seeing the woman at the door.
The woman was dressed in a Chanel-style coat and a fitted skirt, wearing high heels, giving off a metropolitan lady vibe.
If her gaze at herself at this moment wasn’t so hostile, she might still admire her as a lady with good taste.
She stood up and greeted, “Hello? May I ask who you are…”
“You’re the little girl who came with Master Qin?” The woman’s eyes showed contempt, scanning Jiang Wansheng, “Not bad looking, but you seem quite young. Wanting to climb high branches at such a young age, it’s truly admirable.”
The disdain in the woman’s words was too strong, causing Jiang Wansheng to furrow her brows, “Although I don’t know who you are, your sudden unkind words lack manners. Since you’re older than me, you should appear more… mature than me.”
She had seen Qin Weizhao, and this girl was obviously not Master Qin Mo’s niece.
When did Master Qin Mo have a meal alone with a girl? She saw him when she arrived, just about to go up and say hello, but then she saw another girl with him.
Master Qin Mo never liked people rushing up, so even though she wanted to get closer, she didn’t have the courage.
Seeing Master Qin Mo leave, she couldn’t help but come and see who this girl was and what the relationship between the two was.
“I happened to be eating nearby and saw Master Mo coming out of the room, so I waited a while to come and say hello. Hasn’t Master come back yet?”
“You saw him go out, why didn’t you wait to see him come back before coming to say hello?” Jiang Wansheng felt uncomfortable under her gaze and didn’t want to engage in false socializing with her.
Zhong Rui’s expression stiffened, a hint of annoyance flashed in her eyes, but she continued to smile and talk to her, “Isn’t it just in case I missed him and came to ask? Little sister seems a bit unwelcoming, could it be that…” she looked apologetic, “I’m disturbing your date with Master? Sorry, I didn’t consider your feelings.”
Her probing in her words couldn’t be too obvious. If she denied it, she would know that the little uncle had no relationship with her. If she agreed, she would understand that there was a romantic relationship between her and the little uncle.
The little uncle’s personal information was rarely mentioned in public, and he was very low-key and rarely seen in public. Although she would deny it, she still felt uncomfortable with her insidious scrutiny and questioning.
Jiang Wansheng’s expressionless face said, “I’m just a friend of Miss Qin’s Weizhao, considered a junior taken care of by the little uncle, not a date. Your choice of words is inappropriate.”
Before Zhong Rui could feel pleased, Jiang Wansheng spoke again, “But I don’t quite understand, do you always use these leading questions to probe every woman who appears next to the little uncle?”
Zhong Rui frowned, “What do you mean?”
Jiang Wansheng continued, “You use the tone of apologizing for interrupting a date to secretly probe whether the other person is the little uncle’s partner, but does it have anything to do with you?”
“Do you use such questions to disturb the little uncle?”
“Are you being a bit… meddlesome?”
Zhong Rui stood in place, her smile almost impossible to maintain.
“Are you saying I’m meddlesome? I have some private dealings with Master Mo, our families also have frequent interactions, I just casually asked about Master Mo’s situation, how does that become meddlesome?”
“If you have interactions, why not just ask the little uncle directly, instead of being so cautious here.”
The woman in front of her, with ill intentions towards the little uncle, although she had not been in contact with him for long, she had an intuition that the little uncle would not have a good relationship with such a person.
Otherwise, she wouldn’t be so blatantly offensive.
Zhong Rui: “You…”
Jiang Wansheng suddenly looked apologetic, “I’m just afraid that you might offend the little uncle with your words, after all, the little uncle can be quite tough at times. So I spoke a bit harshly just now, but seeing you so angry, could it be…” her pause was just like Zhong Rui’s pause earlier, “hit the nail on the head? I’m really sorry, but according to your private dealings, it should be fine.”
Zhong Rui looked at the gentle girl in front of her, seemingly gentle, but absolutely untouchable, with a sharp tongue.
She was thrown back with her own trick, now feeling disgusted as if she had swallowed a fly.
She forced a smile, originally looking at the girl’s clothes and thinking they weren’t expensive, afraid that the current girl, who had hooked up with Qin Mo through Qin Weizhao, wanted to probe, if so, she could indirectly press her to make her back off.
Upon hearing the girl’s denial, confirming her speculation, she was indeed acquainted with Qin Mo through Qin Weizhao.
But before she could press her, the chilling voice behind her rang out.
“What are you doing?”
This sentence was unclear whether it was directed at her or the girl in front of her, but the chilling pressure made a chill run down her spine.
