“…”
!
How could he even have done this?
Xin Ling suddenly felt that the man before her was like a monster. Everything about her was laid bare before him with no reservations, and he knew it all, down to the smallest detail.
Just as her mind drifted, Cen Yuyan lowered his head. A cool touch at her waist jolted Xin Ling back to her senses.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m checking Baby’s wounds.”
His fingers moved upward, finally stopping on the thin layer of bandages.
Her wound had healed quickly in recent days and already reached the scab stage. She hadn’t been applying medicine as often, and the gauze wrapping had grown thinner.
That was why, when his hand rested on top, the burning heat of his palm was especially distinct.
“No, you’re not allowed to look.” Xin Ling twisted her body to avoid his vaguely suggestive large hand, trying to push it away.
But his fingertips hooked the bandage downward, and the slight calluses brushed against her tender skin, making Xin Ling shudder.
“…”
“Don’t… don’t touch…”
“Don’t be afraid, Baby~”
As the tingling sensation spread from his kneading touch, his kisses followed. “Just leave it to me.”
He was especially excessive.
He ignored her reprimands and struggles, raising his hand only to soothe her, coaxing her, drawing her into the same downward spiral.
Cen Yuyan still didn’t let her go.
After all, beneath the hunter’s disguise was still a hunter. For the sake of his goal, he would use any means necessary. The little kitten had already fallen into his trap—how could he possibly give up the chance for such a fine meal?
He wanted to make her his.
To etch himself into her body’s memory.
The next morning, when Xin Ling woke up, her voice was hoarse.
From the black sheets, a snow-white arm slowly stretched out, fumbling clumsily across the nightstand for her phone.
The stark contrast of black and white was striking. On the girl’s fair arm, ambiguous red marks stood out vividly—even her slender knuckles hadn’t been spared.
It was just like being bitten by a little dog.
Before she could find her phone, its familiar ringtone rang. Xin Ling was just about to get up to answer, but the next second she heard someone already pick it up.
Before the receiver even spoke, a voice erupted on the other end.
“Xin Ling, you finally picked up! Where on earth did you run off to last night? Hurry back right now!”
That familiar arrogant, irritable tone—it was Ouyang Shaojing.
“Excuse me… my girlfriend is still sleeping. What business do you have with her?” A calm, deliberate male voice sounded, and Xin Ling instantly jolted upright.
She lifted her head and looked over.
On the other end, Ouyang Shaojing was instantly set off by those words, yelling curses. “What the hell, who are you? What do you mean she’s your girlfriend? She’s clearly my woman! Put Xin Ling on the phone right now and tell her to come home!
“If she doesn’t come back, then she might as well never come back again!”
“My girlfriend doesn’t need the concern of some nameless nobody. Even if she goes home, it’s to our home…”
Cen Yuyan deliberately paused, his lips curling into a mocking smile. His words dripped with scorn and disdain. “Not to the home of trash like you.”
“You bas—”
Before the enraged voice on the other end could finish, Cen Yuyan hung up without hesitation.
The busy tone beeped in the air. Only then did Xin Ling snap out of her daze and realize how much trouble this man had just landed her in.
“Cen Yuyan!”
She called out, angry.
“Yes, Baby.”
The man casually stood, phone still in hand, striding toward her.
Xin Ling lifted her gaze, her round eyes glaring at him. “How could you answer my call without permission, and even tell him I’m your girlfriend?”
“Then what should I have said, Baby?”
Cen Yuyan leaned closer and closer, knee pressing into the bed, bending down until he was inches away. “Baby, you’re not thinking of just eating your fill and then shirking responsibility, are you?”
“That wouldn’t be fair.”
His fingertips pressed lightly against her collarbone.
Her body still remembered last night. The sudden touch made her shiver uncontrollably.
That was when she realized she wasn’t wearing clothes.
When that big hand moved to tease, there was almost no barrier at all, grasping her weakness and forcing her to submit.
Xin Ling bit her lip, hearing his devilish whisper at her ear:
“Baby, who exactly am I to you? I’ll give you a chance to think carefully, alright?”
“Think it through, then tell me~”
“…”
She prided herself on being a person of virtue, incorruptible by wealth, unmoved by poverty, unshaken by force…
【Ding! Main mission triggered: ‘Framed and Betrayed’ event reached. Please prepare for male lead Ouyang Shaojing’s abandonment.】
【Main mission progress: 50%!】
Forget it. Perhaps she should just bend a little.
After all, a true gentleman can yield when necessary.
“B-Boyfriend…”
Xin Ling quickly stopped his wicked advance, her misty eyes gazing up at him pleadingly. “I’ll take responsibility, I promise I will.”

“Mhm, Baby is so good.” Cen Yuyan raised a hand to stroke her silky hair, lowering his head to press a kiss against her forehead.
“You’re my favorite.”
Xin Ling soon realized that acknowledging this man as her boyfriend was like digging her own grave.
Not only did he pin her down to stop her from leaving, he seemed determined to cling to her twenty-four hours a day. From bed to floor, he was endlessly inventive, disturbingly skilled in his persistence.
Ouyang Shaojing’s number was immediately blacklisted, and Cen Yuyan practically sealed her within his territory. No messages from the outside world could reach her. By her side, there was only him.
She didn’t even know how long this color-soaked life went on before one day Cen Yuyan suddenly held her and whispered by her ear:
“Baby, the weather’s so nice today. Perfect for killing someone.”
“…”
What kind of twisted logic was that?
Could demons stop treating killing like relieving themselves whenever the urge struck? It was really testing the limits of a little angel’s sanity!
Xin Ling silently protested in her heart but didn’t say it aloud.
But Cen Yuyan wasn’t just anyone. He knew everything about her. From the smallest change in her expression, he could guess her thoughts.
“Let’s go kill that bastard who clipped your wings.”
Cen Yuyan explained casually, as though suddenly remembering that someone was still left in a forgotten corner.
“Where shall we go to finish him off, then?”
