Feeding Ran Ran Fat Together
As deep autumn settled in, the weather grew colder. Jiang Yi was about to enjoy a seven-day holiday, already having plans to go out and have fun with some people.
Su Ran and Ye Qiao were also part of the group heading out on a trip, heading to a southern city where the weather was still warm.
Before their trip, Su Ran was in his room, holding a velvet box in his hands. Inside was a watch worth enough to buy an entire house in his hometown. He had never found the right opportunity to return it. Now, as he was about to leave, he figured he should return it before his trip.
With that in mind, he placed the box into his bag and was about to head out when there was a knock on the door. Su Ran opened it to find Ye Qiao standing outside.
Su Ran sat back on the bed, asking, “What’s up?”
Ye Qiao closed the door behind him and sat beside Su Ran on the bed. He handed him a bag and said, “Ran Ran, I told you I would get you a watch. Open it and see if you like it.”
“You didn’t need to get me anything… You really are…” Su Ran said, though he couldn’t help but smile. He knew it was Ye Qiao’s thoughtful gesture.
When he opened the bag, a beautifully crafted watch appeared before him. Ye Qiao’s eyes stayed fixed on Su Ran’s expression, though he seemed to notice that Su Ran wasn’t as thrilled as he had expected.
The watch in his hands was undeniably luxurious, yet Su Ran stood frozen for a moment. He recalled the brand he had researched earlier. That night when Ye Qiao had mentioned the expensive watch from He Zhiwen, Su Ran had looked it up online. He hadn’t realized just how expensive it was until he saw it for himself—millions for a watch from that brand was perfectly normal.
As he scrolled through the website, Su Ran found the one He Zhiwen had given him was worth over two million, but the one in his hands, the limited edition, was valued at over six million.
Su Ran felt a little dizzy. How could their currency be so different? How was it even possible for Ye Qiao to give him something so outrageously expensive?
This… was beyond what he had imagined. He usually had to think carefully before accepting a gift worth over five thousand.
“This… This is also a Patek Philippe, right?” Su Ran asked hesitantly.
Ye Qiao was briefly surprised, not expecting him to know, but quickly smiled and took the watch back, sliding it onto Su Ran’s wrist. “It’s nothing, just a replica. It’s really well-made, though.”
Hearing this, Su Ran let out a sigh of relief. So, it wasn’t as expensive as it seemed. If it was fake, that made sense.
“Look, it’s beautiful. Ran Ran, your wrist is so nice; it deserves such a beautiful watch,” Ye Qiao said.
Su Ran felt Ye Qiao’s fingers grazing his wrist and immediately pulled it away, worried that Ye Qiao’s habit of touching him might kick in.
The watch, now on his wrist, was indeed beautiful. Su Ran smiled, “It’s nice.”
Ye Qiao, seeing that Su Ran liked it, rubbed his soft hair and looked toward another bag by the bed. “Ran Ran, are you going to return this to He Zhiwen?”
Su Ran nodded, “Yeah, it’s too valuable. It’s better to return it.”
Ye Qiao agreed, standing up. “Then you should go. I’ll go pack my things.”
Once Ye Qiao left, the room grew quiet again. Su Ran looked at the watch on his wrist, then after a moment of hesitation, took it off and placed it in the drawer. He planned to return it to He Zhiwen later, but he didn’t want He Zhiwen to think he was showing off by wearing an even more expensive one. Besides, wearing a watch worth millions while dressed in cheap clothes would look ridiculous.
Su Ran knocked on the door of the room next door. He Zhiwen came out, and when he saw Su Ran, his face lit up with joy. “What brings you here? Didn’t you have plans to go out today?”
He Zhiwen looked at Su Ran with deep, affectionate eyes, making Su Ran feel a little flustered. He had been about to return the gift, but now he wasn’t sure how to start.
Just as Su Ran hesitated, He Zhiwen’s gaze shifted to the familiar bag in Su Ran’s hands. He paused for a moment and asked, “What’s this? What do you have there?”
Su Ran looked at him, and after a moment of hesitation, extended the bag to him. “He Ge… You should take this back…”
He Zhiwen looked at the bag, but he didn’t take it. He knew exactly what it was. His expression darkened slightly, almost as if he were hurt. “Why?”
Su Ran, feeling awkward, lowered his head. “I looked it up online. It’s really expensive. I can’t accept it.”
He Zhiwen frowned deeply, his eyes locking onto Su Ran’s. “Su Ran, look at me.”
Su Ran nervously raised his head and met his gaze, his dark pupils reflecting Su Ran’s face.
“Su Ran,” He Zhiwen said, his voice serious, never breaking eye contact. “This gift isn’t even one ten-thousandth of my feelings for you.”
Su Ran’s eyelashes trembled, and for a moment, he felt lost and touched. But they weren’t family or anything—he couldn’t accept something so expensive.
He Zhiwen seemed to sense Su Ran’s discomfort, his expression softening. He placed a hand on Su Ran’s shoulder and gently rubbed it. “Take it, it’s not that expensive. Honestly… it’s not as much as you think.”
Su Ran looked at him, lost in thought. Then, he suddenly wondered if He Zhiwen’s watch was also a replica… Originally, he had bought a replica, but it seemed like he hadn’t realized. If that was the case… things would get awkward.
But when giving gifts, wouldn’t he have mentioned if it was a replica?
After a few moments of silence, He Zhiwen suddenly spoke. “Well, the thing is, a friend of mine works internally. This watch has a slight flaw. According to their strict standards, it should have been disposed of, but… you know how it is in-house… It’s actually not worth much.”
Su Ran understood at once. “Oh, so that’s how it is.”
“Yeah,” He Zhiwen said, wrapping an arm around Su Ran’s shoulder and smiling with his usual charming grace. “Now you can accept it without worrying.”
“Even so, it’s still really expensive, right?” Su Ran asked. After all, it was from such a prestigious brand.
“Not that expensive,” He Zhiwen replied. “Think about it. It was originally going to be disposed of.” He smiled playfully. “Now take it before I get mad.”
Su Ran finally relaxed and smiled, “Alright then, thank you, He Ge.”
He Zhiwen looked at him, feeling a rush of affection. He bent down, wanting to kiss him, drawn by the soft, fresh scent of his skin. But he still had some control over himself. He didn’t want to scare Su Ran off. Instead, he patted his head gently. “You’re heading out for the trip, right?”
“Mm,” Su Ran nodded, then remembered, “If Mingzhe looks for me, make sure to send me a video. He listens to me, so he won’t cause any trouble.”
He Zhiwen couldn’t hold back any longer. He pulled Su Ran into his arms, burying his nose in his neck. “Ran Ran, you’re so good. Have a great time. We’ll miss you.”
Back at home, Su Ran took out the watch and examined it closely. He hadn’t dared hold it for too long earlier because it was so expensive.
But after staring at it for a while, he still couldn’t find any flaws. Was it inside the watch face?
Such a prestigious brand, and yet it was still called a flawed item?
After looking at it some more, Su Ran placed the watch back into its box. He still didn’t feel like he was suited for such an expensive item. He’d rather keep it safe in the drawer as a collectible.
After packing his things, he went out, only to see Jiang Yi carrying his suitcase. When Jiang Yi saw him, he said, “I’ll send you some money. Buy whatever you want over there. If it’s not enough, let me know.”
Just then, Ye Qiao also came out and saw the scene. Su Ran’s phone buzzed with a notification.
“Let’s go. The car’s waiting downstairs,” Jiang Yi said, leading the way.
Su Ran took out his phone and saw Jiang Yi had transferred twenty thousand yuan.
Ye Qiao glanced at the screen and then leaned over to whisper in Su Ran’s ear, “How much did my brother give you, Ran Ran?”
As they walked behind Jiang Yi, Su Ran looked at his back and quietly replied, “Twenty thousand.”
For Su Ran, that was a lot—his monthly salary was only about ten thousand.
“Ah…” Ye Qiao thought for a moment, calculating Jiang Yi’s finances. He had a mortgage and car loan, so twenty thousand wasn’t a huge amount, but it was reasonable. For Su Ran, though, it was plenty. Jiang Yi was the kind of person who knew how to calculate things well, always getting the most from Su Ran with the least effort.
“Ran Ran,” Ye Qiao said softly.
“Mm?” Su Ran looked at him.
Ye Qiao grinned and asked, “How about being my model? I’ll pay you twenty thousand for one session.”
Su Ran was stunned. “Twenty thousand for one session?”
“Yeah, it’s not much. I usually pay five thousand for a professional model. But you’re not professional, so I’ll pay a little less. Don’t complain, okay?” Ye Qiao joked, trying to get Su Ran to agree. He couldn’t offer too much or too little—just enough to make Su Ran agree.
“Being a model makes that much money?” Su Ran was completely shocked. That was more than two months of his salary!
“It probably doesn’t make that much, but I have high standards. You know I really like your bone structure, Ran Ran,” Ye Qiao said.
Su Ran felt a rush of excitement. He had never made so much money so easily, let alone that much!
But at the same time, he felt a little shy. “Is it okay for me to earn money from you like this?”
“Ran Ran, I already told you, I’m giving you a reduced rate. It’s up to you if you want to do it. If not, I’ll find someone else,” Ye Qiao said.
This hit Su Ran right where it mattered. Of course, he liked making money—who wouldn’t? He had been saving up for a sense of security.
Su Ran immediately grabbed Ye Qiao’s arm, “I’ll do it, let me be your model!”
Ye Qiao looked at his bright, eager eyes and had the impulse to pull him into an embrace, to do whatever he wanted. He could smell the faint scent of Su Ran’s skin, making him want to keep him close forever.
“Alright, Ran Ran. It’s a deal,” Ye Qiao said.
At that moment, Jiang Yi had already entered the elevator, holding the door open so it wouldn’t close, his patience wearing thin as he had been waiting for a while.
Ye Qiao smiled, watching Jiang Yi.
He wanted Su Ran to know: Jiang Yi could only give him twenty thousand for the trip, but for being his model, he’d get twenty thousand for just one session. He intended to feed Su Ran’s desires, to make him realize that Jiang Yi was just a fool who could never fulfill him.
