The House was Raided in Advance and I moved the Treasury to Escape the Last Days Chapter 5

Chapter 5: Online Shopping for Supplies

After packing up all the supplies, Xie Zhizhi closed the warehouse door and went to rent a larger warehouse in the suburbs, around 500 square meters, for a month.

Then she made a phone call.

It was to a good friend of her grandfather, who ran a pharmaceutical company in Haicheng. She had always kept in touch with this person, and would often stay at their house during the holidays. They were perfect for buying things that were hard to find on the market.

The call was quickly answered, and a deep, robust elderly voice came through the line, still full of energy. “Ah, Zhizhi, you called me. What’s the matter? Not planning to come work at my company?”

“Hello, Grandpa Shen! Your company is full of talented people, so you don’t need me. I just graduated and want to take a break. I need a favor from you.”

“A favor? Don’t be so polite, just say it.”

“I need to buy some medicines, many types, and some things that are hard to find on the market.”

“I thought it was something else. No problem, I have plenty of medicine! Just send me a list on WeChat, and I’ll get them for you. You should come over and visit when you have time!”

“Okay! Thank you, Grandpa Shen! But there’s really a lot, I’ll send it to you.”

After hanging up, Xie Zhizhi wrote a long list of medicines in her phone’s memo.

Potassium permanganate, antibiotics, vitamins, common cold medicines, heat-clearing and detoxifying drugs.

Skin disease treatments, anti-dysentery, anti-malaria, stomach medicines, vaccines, iodine tincture, anti-inflammatory drugs, surgical instruments, and a variety of other medicines, as well as several rare and common traditional Chinese herbs.

She then sent the list to him.

Although she needed a lot of different items, each one was just a small amount, so it wasn’t too conspicuous. Grandpa Shen asked her about it, but she gave a vague answer, and he didn’t press her further, just saying the goods would arrive tomorrow.

With the medicine sorted, Xie Zhizhi drove home to buy more supplies online.

Once home, she sat at her computer and began shopping.

First, she bought seeds for plants, fruits, and medicinal herbs, skincare products, cosmetics, solar panels, electronic devices, equipment, hardware tools, telescopes, walkie-talkies, and flashlights. She bought one of each.

Clothing of all kinds—thick and thin, both modern and traditional, including winter coats, wool sweaters, gloves, scarves, quilts, bed sheets, shoes, and boots. She also bought snow boots for cold weather, ensuring everything was of the highest quality.

Additionally, she bought items like hand warmers, hot water bottles, cold compresses, thermal and insulated protective gear, and transportation tools suited for extreme weather.

She bought all sorts of electric-powered machines: diesel generators, diesel engines, oxygenators, lathes, and other machinery for production work.

Since she could infinitely duplicate gasoline from her Land Rover, all she needed was to buy diesel. She ordered a barrel of it, along with some car repair supplies.

Building materials were essential as well. If she could infinitely restock, building and selling houses could support her lavish lifestyle. She ordered a variety of sturdy construction materials.

With the automatic restocking warehouse, she only needed to store one sample of each item, and it would be replicated infinitely.

She also bought high-quality iron, alloy steel, copper, walnut wood, and other metals to make tools and equipment as needed.

She bought materials for making guns, such as sulfur, nitrate, and charcoal—anything she could get her hands on.

She scrolled through various shopping apps, buying from local sellers who promised same-day delivery, ensuring everything would arrive the next day.

On her tablet, she downloaded survival guides for disasters, weapon-making manuals, and outdoor survival materials.

By the time she finished, it was already past 8 PM, and spending money felt… exhilarating.

Her two million had earned her badges in many shopping apps.

“I’m going to make myself a seafood feast to celebrate!” Xie Zhizhi excitedly ran to the kitchen, pulling out king crab and eel from the warehouse. Seeing that even after taking the ingredients, the storage boxes still had identical items, she couldn’t be happier.

While eating, she also brought the big black dog from the space to join her in eating eel rice. Life was blissful.

Later that night, as she slept soundly, she had another dream.

In the dream, the entire city felt like a scorching barbecue pit. She stood in the crowd, facing the blazing sun, drenched in sweat, feeling like she might faint from the heat. Her throat was dry, and she felt weak and exhausted.

The air around her seemed to be on the verge of bursting into flames.

The rough, sandy road ahead seemed to twist in her vision, and the oppressive, suffocating feeling nearly made her die in the dream, but it startled her awake!

It was still dark outside.

Sitting on her big bed, she took a deep breath. “Phew, a roast pig isn’t even that hot! It almost killed me.”

Thankfully, it was just a dream. She was drenched in cold sweat and couldn’t sleep anymore.

Checking her phone, it was only 3 AM. She decided to take a shower, read a novel to calm herself, and hopefully go back to sleep.

The next day, after breakfast, Xie Zhizhi, with faint dark circles under her eyes, went to the warehouse early to wait for the delivery.

She had gotten so absorbed in her reading last night that she had forgotten to sleep, and now she was sitting at the warehouse door, engrossed in her phone.

Time passed, and by 10 AM, the delivery trucks began arriving, one after another.

Since she had chosen the same logistics company, all the trucks were filled with her purchases.

The delivery drivers were quite curious and handed her the delivery slips politely, asking, “Hello, are you Miss Xie?”

“Yes, that’s me. Could you please bring all the items inside?” Xie Zhizhi signed for the deliveries and opened the warehouse door.
