Chapter 10: I have liked Lin Mu for many years

Mu Qingting nodded slightly when he heard Lin Ran’s voice.

“Yes, that’s right, I know your Gege. I’m an alumnus (schoolmate) with him.”

Mu Qingting opened his suitcase, took out a pile of candies and chocolates from it, handing them to Lin Ran, “Look, I bought you something delicious.”

Although Song Zhi Xu had said that Lin Ran was twenty years old, Mu Qingting always felt that he was just like a child, so when he came back, he had specially brought candies and chocolates from abroad as a first time meeting gift.

When he came back downstairs, Mu Qingting was holding the chocolates and handing them to Lin Ran one by one as he got close to him.

He was looking at his face, wondering what he was thinking about.Lin Ran didn’t even seem to notice Mu Qingting pressed close to him, he just continuously took the chocolates and stuffing them into his mouth.

His cheeks were already bulging yet he was still stuffing them.Mu Qingting kept handing it to him and he kept eating it.

Song Zhi Xu frowned and said in a deep voice, “Qingting, don’t give it to him anymore. He can’t even stuff more, can’t you see it?”

Mu Qingting had been thinking about something and only when Song Zhi Xu reminded him did he notice, he hurriedly took back the chocolate he was handing over.He looked at Lin Ran and asked Song Zhi Xu in a small voice with some doubts.

“He… obviously can’t even eat anymore, won’t he refuse?”

“He never says no to food.”

Song Zhi Xu said.

The person who was able to cry and at the same time stuff the food into his mouth, how could he refuse food offered to him?

Mu Qingting is a doctor. He had seen from the video that day that Lin Ran was not normal. Now, he was even more certain.

This is simply not the intelligence of a twenty year old youngster.Lin Ran’s mouth was stuffed with too much food and both cheeks were bulging like little squirrels that had hidden food, so there was no way for him to swallow it.

Both of Lin Ran’s cheeks were hurting but he couldn’t let the chocolate in his mouth go to waste, so he shook his head and didn’t want to spit it out.

Song Zhi Xu didn’t say much to him, with one hand cupping his chin and the other poking his cheeks, Lin Ran opened his mouth subconsciously and spat out all the chocolate inside.

Because Mu Qingting handed it to him too quickly, he didn’t even have time to bite it, and the square shaped of chocolate, one by one shoved into his mouth with sharp edges.Only after he spat it out did Lin Ran feel better and rubbed his cheeks with his hands.

He looked at the chocolate in the bin with pity.If the chocolate hadn’t been covered with his saliva and fallen into the garbage bin, he really wanted to pick it up. It was the first time he had eaten something so delicious.

“Ran Ran, there’s more here. I won’t…you take it and eat it yourself. There’s still candy in there.”

Mu Qingting looked at his reluctant gaze and handed the rest to him again.Lin Ran didn’t dare to take it this time, pulling Song Zhi Xu’s sleeve and rubbing it, carefully looking at Song Zhi Xu’s gloomy face.

Song Zhi Xu had just gone upstairs for a while and Lin Ran was already fed like a little hamster.

Lin Ran waited for quite a while yet Song Zhi Xu ignored him. He lowered his head and pulled Song Zhi Xu’s clothes even tighter.It was only because he was afraid that he wouldn’t be able to eat it in the future so he ate a lot of it.

He didn’t mean to make Song Zhi Xu angry.

“No.” Song Zhi Xu came back to his senses, took the chocolates and candies that Mu Qingting brought over to Lin Ran, “You can only have one a day, do you understand?”

Lin Ran looked up at him and nodded vigorously, holding the chocolates in his arms.Song Zhi Xu turned to him again and said, “In the future, if a stranger gives you candy, don’t take it and don’t eat it, understand?”

Lin Ran looked at Mu Qingting, only knitting his brows and asked him, “Is Song Zhi Xu’s friend, who knows Gege also a stranger?”

“Those you don’t know are certainly considered strangers.”

Lin Ran nodded, “Okay, then that’s a stranger.”

“Zhi Xu, I know you’ve liked Lin Mu for many years, so are you now treating Lin Ran as Lin Mu’s replacement?”

The two were so familiar with each other that Mu Qingting asked it directly without even the slightest consideration at all.
