Chapter 17: A Calculated Release

Chu Ning was truly hungry.

The first meal provided didn’t include white rice, but there were steamed buns and meat, which wasn’t bad.

Chu Ning ate everything in one go.

Fu Yuzhou arrived quickly. When he entered, Chu Ning was preparing to wash her food containers.

“Give them to me.”

Fu Yuzhou stopped Chu Ning, taking the military uniform he’d collected from the supply room and throwing it on the bed.

“I got you some clothes. Change quickly.”

Chu Ning was overjoyed. She hadn’t expected the cold Fu Yuzhou to get her clothes.

Fu Yuzhou said coldly, “The size should fit.”

Fu Yuzhou had carried Chu Ning yesterday and practically seen everything, so he knew her size and requested the appropriate size from the supply officer.

The humiliating words made Chu Ning grit her teeth in anger. “No different from a man? Fu Yuzhou, I’m a woman! My features are so obvious, how can you insult me like that?”

Chu Ning threw down the clothes and rushed towards Fu Yuzhou to argue.

Suddenly, Fu Yuzhou, putting down the food containers, undressed in front of Chu Ning. “Move, I’m going to shower.”

She kissed Fu Yuzhou’s Adam’s apple.

The next second, Fu Yuzhou’s body trembled, his throat tightening.

His blood rushed to a certain place. He knew he couldn’t resist Chu Ning’s teasing, and he was driven mad.

“You crazy woman, Chu Ning, you’re asking for it.”

Fu Yuzhou gritted his teeth, his hands tightly gripping Chu Ning’s waist, suppressing his urges.

It was broad daylight, and he still had to train his soldiers.

“Stop right there.”

Then, she fell into his cold embrace.
