Chapter 1 Crossing Warning

Lin Yuexi was peeling an apple when her hand slipped, the sharp blade cutting her finger. A drop of blood splattered onto the jade pendant she wore around her neck. After that, she fell into an endless nightmare.

In her dream, there was a small, earthen house with a thatched roof. The windows were narrow, the white paper pasted on them trembling in the wind. The room was dimly lit and gloomy.
