Chapter 10: “You’ll Call Me Sister-in-law in the Future”
In the bedroom.
“Left shoulder, left shoulder! Haven’t you eaten? Why is your strength so weak?”
Tang Zhishu, lying on the bed, complained disdainfully.
Yan Luo, who had been reluctantly agreeing to give her a back rub, glared at her with gritted teeth. Frustrated, she pounded her fist down hard onto Tang Zhishu’s left shoulder.
Tang Zhishu winced, turning her head with a feigned angry expression. “Are you trying to kill me? I never would have guessed that someone so young could hold a grudge like this.”
Yan Luo shot her an angry look. “You’re such a bad woman! I really don’t understand why my cousin brought you back.”
Tang Zhishu raised an eyebrow, suddenly intrigued. She decided to tease Yan Luo a little. “You’re so stingy! Don’t you want to know how I made your cousin fall head over heels for me?”
Yan Luo froze, trying to play it cool, but her hand, which had been massaging Tang Zhishu’s back, halted as she adopted an air of arrogance. “W-who cares? Do you think everyone is as shameless as you?”
Tang Zhishu chuckled. “Oh, really not interested? I was planning to share my secrets with you, but since you’re not curious, I guess I’ll just keep quiet.”
Hearing that, Yan Luo panicked. How could she not be interested? But she could tell this bad woman was just messing with her. Her eyes nearly shot fire as she protested, “You could at least tell me voluntarily, you bad woman!”
Tang Zhishu found her reaction amusing. With a plan in mind for what she wanted to do next, she decided to indulge her curiosity a bit.
At that moment, Tang Zhishu turned over and lay back on the bed, one foot resting on the knee of the other, casually glancing at the innocent little girl in front of her.
“Ugh, I suddenly feel a bit thirsty. My throat is dry, and I don’t feel like talking,” Tang Zhishu sighed dramatically.
Yan Luo was taken aback for a moment before she realized what she meant. She immediately frowned. “Are you trying to make me get you some water?”
Tang Zhishu grinned widely, revealing her white, neat teeth. “If you want to go get some, that’s fine. After all, you might have to call me sister-in-law one day.”
Of course, she was just joking.
Sister-in-law? Who would care about that?
Yan Luo glared at her. Even though she was infuriated, her curiosity got the better of her.
In the end, she puffed out her cheeks and reluctantly got up to pour a glass of water.
“Here, hurry up and drink. You’re so annoying,” Yan Luo said impatiently as she handed the cup to her.
Tang Zhishu found Yan Luo even cuter now.
She took a few sips from the cup and then set it down on the table beside her.
“Can we talk now?” Yan Luo asked, sitting on the edge of the bed and looking at her impatiently.
Tang Zhishu cleared her throat dramatically, pretending to be mysterious. Under Yan Luo’s curious gaze, she began, “Do you know how I met your cousin?”
Yan Luo’s face lit up with curiosity. “How did you meet?”
Tang Zhishu didn’t answer right away but suddenly asked, “Did you drive here by yourself, or did you come in Ah Ming’s car?”
Yan Luo was puzzled by her question and instinctively replied, “I drove my own car.”
Hearing this, Tang Zhishu nodded with satisfaction. Then she extended her hand and beckoned her closer. “Come here a bit; I’ll tell you a secret.”
Driven by curiosity, Yan Luo obediently leaned in.
“I actually have a thing with Yan Kui…”
Just as Yan Luo heard those words, in the next second, she found her hands suddenly captured by Tang Zhishu.
Immediately afterward, Tang Zhishu pulled out some rope that she had prepared earlier and skillfully tied Yan Luo’s hands to the bedpost.
After a moment of shock, Yan Luo finally reacted, bursting into tears and staring at Tang Zhishu in disbelief. “You bad woman! You tied me up again! You did it this morning and now again. I shouldn’t have trusted you! Wuwu…”
Seeing her cry so sadly, Tang Zhishu felt a twinge of guilt in her heart.
She bent down and gently patted Yan Luo’s chubby cheeks, sighing, “Ah, I really have no choice. Your cousin locked me up here and won’t let me leave. Actually, your cousin doesn’t love me as deeply as I claimed. I was just making it up. But I did sleep with him; that part is true. You’ll have to bear with this for now. Don’t worry, if we meet again in the future, I’ll make it up to you.”
After speaking, Tang Zhishu stuffed a towel into Yan Luo’s mouth to muffle her sobs.
Then, while Yan Luo was whimpering, she started removing Yan Luo’s clothes.
Covering her with a blanket, Tang Zhishu looked at her apologetically. Unable to resist, she pinched her soft cheeks again. “So pitiful. Don’t worry; I’ll remember your kindness.”
With that, Tang Zhishu left the bedroom.
She then found a maid and asked her for some makeup.
She claimed she was bored and wanted to put makeup on Yan Luo.
The maid, without any suspicion, handed over some cosmetics that she had bought not long ago and hadn’t used yet.
Returning to the bedroom, Tang Zhishu began applying the makeup on herself.
Before long, Yan Luo, who was tied to the bed, was shocked to see what was happening.
Under the disguise of makeup, Tang Zhishu’s appearance surprisingly resembled Yan Luo’s by seventy to eighty percent.
And after putting on Yan Luo’s clothes, she looked almost identical to her.
In the midst of Yan Luo’s astonished gaze, Tang Zhishu glanced at her and then left the bedroom.
Stepping out of the villa, Tang Zhishu went straight to a pink Maserati, opened the door, and got in.
Starting the car, she drove towards the estate’s gate.
As she passed through the gate, the guards stationed there stared at her for a few seconds.
Tang Zhishu flashed them a cute and mischievous smile.
The guards opened the gate of the estate.
It wasn’t until she had left the estate that Tang Zhishu finally felt relieved.
A wave of excitement and exhilaration washed over her.
She had finally escaped this cursed place.
On the other side.
Just after Tang Zhishu left the estate, Ah Ming looked at the man before him, confused. “Young Master, you worked hard to capture her; why would you intentionally let her go?”
In reality, Yan Kui had ordered her release, allowing Tang Zhishu to escape the estate.
With his back to Ah Ming, Yan Kui stared at the car disappearing in the distance, his dark, cold eyes glinting with something unusual.
The corners of his lips curled into a slight smile as his deep, melodious voice replied, “Before today, I did want to imprison her, but now, I’ve changed my mind.”
What kind of expression would she have if she later found out he was her fiancé?
Tang Zhishu, who thought she had finally escaped Yan Kui, had no idea what awaited her soon…
