Chapter 23: “Seeing Him, Tang Zhishu Was Completely Stunned”

When Tang Zhishu saw Yan Luo and Yan Bing, the twin sisters, stepping out of the car, she was truly shocked.

She couldn’t understand why they were here. From what she knew, these two weren’t celebrities, so were they also participating in this show as regular participants?

Yan Luo, who was the first to step out of the car, wore a petite frame wrapped in a custom-made designer outfit. Her face was slightly round with baby fat, her skin was pale and smooth, and her features were small and delicate. What stood out the most were her large, round, dark eyes that made her look lively and cute.

In contrast, her twin sister, Yan Bing, had a completely different style. She was dressed entirely in black, giving off a more mature and composed vibe. Though her facial features were identical to Yan Luo’s, the lack of baby fat and her cold expression made her seem distant.

As they stepped out of the car, they immediately noticed Tang Zhishu. Yan Luo puffed her cheeks and glared at Tang Zhishu with a pouty, cute anger—clearly still upset about being tied to the bed last time.

Yan Bing, on the other hand, shot her a cold glance, though her brow furrowed slightly, revealing a hint of confusion and puzzlement.

Tang Zhishu had no idea what was bothering Yan Bing. She just grinned and teasingly raised an eyebrow at Yan Luo.

Seeing this, Yan Luo’s cheeks flushed even redder in frustration, making her look even more adorable.

Director Chen, noticing the twins, stood up and greeted them with a smile. “You must be Miss Yan Luo and Miss Yan Bing. Please join the group; everyone’s been waiting for you.”

Still fuming, Yan Luo, who had been spoiled her whole life, gave Director Chen a mere glance. However, she seemed to think of something and, tugging her sister along, approached the group. Her reluctant smile showed her displeasure as she greeted, “Hello, Director Chen, I’m Yan Luo, and this is my sister, Yan Bing.”

They were using fake names to participate in the show. If their older cousin hadn’t told them not to mess things up, Yan Luo wouldn’t have even bothered greeting anyone.

Yan Bing simply nodded coldly.

Director Chen looked at the identical twins in front of him and smiled. He could tell them apart now, but he knew he’d struggle later on. “Nice to meet you both. These four are also regular guests on Escape Room, so why not get to know each other?”

Both Yan Luo and Yan Bing turned their attention immediately to Tang Zhishu, completely ignoring the other three guests.

Thinking of what their cousin had instructed them, Yan Luo begrudgingly held her sister’s hand and stood next to Tang Zhishu.

“Are you both so bored with your pampered life that you’ve come to experience the excitement of filming a show?” Tang Zhishu leaned in toward Yan Luo, teasing her in a soft, playful voice.

The moment Yan Luo heard her voice, she exploded. She put her hands on her hips and glared at Tang Zhishu, angrily puffing up her cheeks. “You evil woman! If it weren’t for my cou—”

“Luo!” Yan Bing interrupted her before she could finish.

Realizing her mistake, Yan Luo quickly covered her mouth and glared at Tang Zhishu. “You tricky woman! Don’t think you can fool me into talking! I’ll never believe you again!”

Tang Zhishu was stunned for a moment, about to ask something, when suddenly, the actress who had been asking Director Chen about when Fu Yushen would arrive shouted excitedly, “Senior Fu Yushen is here!”

Hearing this, Tang Zhishu immediately turned her gaze in that direction.

At the same time, a black van pulled up nearby.

A moment later, the van’s door was opened by the driver, and Fu Yushen, standing at about 1.88 meters tall, stepped out of the vehicle.

His presence was naturally distinguished and cold, his handsome face expressionless, and his amber eyes glanced over the group with a chilly gaze. However, when he saw Tang Zhishu in the crowd, his eyes seemed to pause briefly, though the moment quickly passed.

Director Chen hurried over with a friendly smile. “Yushen, you’re finally here! Everyone’s been waiting for you. Director Wang couldn’t make it today due to an emergency, hope you don’t mind.”

Fu Yushen nodded expressionlessly, his deep voice calm as he replied, “No problem.”

Director Chen, already familiar with Fu Yushen’s personality, didn’t take his coldness to heart.

“Yushen, come over and meet the other guests for the escape room show,” Director Chen said as Fu Yushen approached.

The two female stars were visibly excited, and even the male guest, Lu Zilin, couldn’t hide his excitement as he watched Fu Yushen approach.

Unlike them, Yan Luo and Yan Bing were unimpressed. In their eyes, no man could compare to their cousin, both in looks and capability. To them, their cousin was like a god.

But Tang Zhishu was different from everyone else. While she wasn’t as visibly excited, her eyes followed Fu Yushen closely, staring at him for several seconds.

As she looked at him, Tang Zhishu couldn’t help but feel that this man resembled her younger brother more and more, especially those amber eyes. Her brother had the same eye color.

One of the actresses, Lin Xiaoxiao, eagerly introduced herself, “Hello, Senior! I’m Lin Xiaoxiao, looking forward to learning from you!”

“I’m Liang Xiaoya, and I’ve been a fan of yours for a long time. You’re my favorite idol,” the second actress added, beaming.

The male guest, Lu Zilin, a bit shy, smiled cautiously. “Hello, Senior Fu. I’m Lu Zilin, but you can call me Zilin.”

Fu Yushen nodded coolly in response to their enthusiasm, simply stating, “Fu Yushen.”

Though his greeting was brief, the three of them didn’t seem to mind and were instead delighted by it.

After everyone had introduced themselves, Tang Zhishu stepped forward and offered her hand with a smile. “Hello, I’m Tang Zhishu.”

As Tang Zhishu extended her hand, Fu Yushen glanced down at her slender fingers. Just when everyone thought he wouldn’t shake her hand and the crew began to feel awkward, Fu Yushen unexpectedly reached out and shook her hand lightly. “Fu Yushen,” he said flatly.

Their hands touched briefly before letting go.

Tang Zhishu suppressed the rush of emotions inside her. She was almost certain now—this man was definitely her younger brother. Only someone with the same blood as her could make her feel this heat in her veins when they touched.

Afterward, Tang Zhishu didn’t say anything more, lost in thought.

Meanwhile, Yan Luo, seeing Tang Zhishu willingly shake hands with this man, felt a surge of anger inside. This wicked woman not only defiled her cousin, but now she was secretly shaking hands with another man.

Yan Luo was already planning to tattletale on her to her cousin at the first opportunity when suddenly, a luxury car pulled up.

Everyone watched as a man stepped out of the car.

The moment she saw him, Tang Zhishu froze on the spot.

Oh my God! Why is he here?

Not just her—both Yan Luo and Yan Bing were equally dumbfounded.
