Chapter 35 Deliberate Guidance
“You little bitch, you’re throwing dirt on my Qin family! You dare to scheme against my girl? And not just once? Good! You’re truly lawless, do you really think your Wang family is the emperor?”
Qin Laotai nimbly weaved through the crowd, rushing to the front of Zhu Shi and Wang Jiaojiao, who were still tearing at each other, and slapped Wang Jiaojiao twice.
Wang Lizheng dared not answer. Although Changhe Village was remote, that was only said in private.
This was the first time someone had been publicly exposed.
If someone with ill intentions reported it, they would lose their heads.
“Qin Laoshi, why are you arguing with a young girl? What emperor? You’re going too far…”
Wang Lizheng was both surprised and angry, but he had to force a smile and try to smooth things over.
“Bah! The old ones are shameless and grab the credit, the young ones are vicious and have bad intentions, full of malice. You want to pin the blame on my girl? Does your Wang family really think my Qin family has no one?”
Qin Laotai ignored Wang Lizheng’s words.
After making a veiled insult, she turned and slapped Zhu Shi several times.
“Old hag, I see your heart is as rotten and black as your useless son! You want to ruin my girl’s reputation? You want to scheme to get my girl into your Zhao family’s door? Bah, what a daydream!”
“Didn’t I tell you not to provoke my girl? It seems I didn’t hit you hard enough last time!”
Qin Laotai’s fighting style was chaotic, but her fighting spirit was strong.
Even Wang Pozi and her daughter-in-law, who were trying to pull Qin Laotai away, were caught in the chaos and received a few slaps.
The scene became increasingly chaotic and out of control.
With Qin Laotai’s involvement, Wang Lizheng had completely lost control of the situation.
When he tried to separate the group, he was caught in the chaos and received several blows, his face burning.
Qin Laotai was in high spirits at the moment. She didn’t care who came, she just grabbed Wang Jiaojiao and Zhu Shi and beat them.
Wang Pozi and Wang Laoer’s wife wanted to take sides, but they were met with Qin Laotai’s indiscriminate attacks.
Screams and cries filled the air.
Wang Lizheng was furious. He simply gave up.
With a scratched face, he stood there woodenly, not knowing what he was thinking.
After venting her anger, Qin Laotai quickly stepped aside.
She was not afraid of the Wang family, nor was she afraid of Zhu Shi.
When Qin Huaizheng was alive, the Wang family, although accustomed to being domineering in the village, dared not easily provoke the Qin family.
After Qin Huaizheng died, because of her, a formidable presence, the two families had kept their distance.
Now, knowing that Wang Jiaojiao had actually conspired with Zhu Shi to scheme against her granddaughter, Qin Laotai immediately exploded.
Although Qin Laotai didn’t necessarily care much for her granddaughter, she wouldn’t stand by and watch outsiders bully her own family.
Qin Laotai had gone out to show off and was about to go home happily.
But before she reached home, she saw a group of people running towards the Wang family’s house from another path.
On a whim, she took a detour and followed them.
Unexpectedly, she ended up getting involved in the drama.
She didn’t know about the conflict between Zhu Shi, Tian Shi, and Qin Ruo a few days ago.
Most importantly, Qin Ruo hadn’t told her about it when she came back.
It wasn’t until Zhu Shi and the Wang family started arguing that she realized the drama involved her family.
Especially when she heard Wang Jiaojiao repeatedly slandering her granddaughter.
Now, she didn’t care about Zhu Shi or the Lizheng family. She would go all out.
The onlookers saw that even the Lizheng didn’t care anymore, and he didn’t even pretend to try to separate them.
The villagers were happy to see Zhu Shi and the Wang Lizheng family turn against each other.
After all, neither family was a good person.
Now, hearing that Bao Gen was missing, everyone’s faces lit up with joy.
Over the years, the villagers had more or less had some run-ins with Zhu Shi and her son.
Given Zhu Shi’s unreasonable nature and Wang Lizheng’s repeated cover-ups and attempts to smooth things over, the villagers who had suffered losses could only accept their fate.
At first, hearing that Zhao Dala was simply missing, they felt a little pity.
The villagers wished that Zhao Dala would never appear in Changhe Village again.
They didn’t know that someone had already quietly fulfilled their wish.
When Zhu Shi and the Wang family’s mother and daughter-in-law finally stopped on their own, a whole incense stick had passed.
Wang Jiaojiao, Zhu Shi, and the Wang family’s mother and daughter-in-law all had varying degrees of injuries on their bodies and faces.
On the other hand, Qin Laotai, except for her slightly disheveled hair, was completely unscathed.
One against three, Zhu Shi was clearly at a disadvantage.
Unable to fight anymore, she resorted to her usual tactics, crying and making a fuss.
She was basically saying that Wang Jiaojiao was responsible for her son’s disappearance.
Either Wang Lizheng would organize people to go up the mountain to search, or she would go to the yamen.
At this time, Wang Jiaojiao, who had been beaten, glared, her nostrils flared, and her face contorted in anger.
Wang Jiaojiao, her eyes bloodshot, shouted at Wang Lizheng, “Uncle, arrest all these blind fools and send them to the yamen! Don’t let them go!”
The fools she was referring to were Zhu Shi and Qin Laotai.
In the Wang family, because of Wang Pozi’s favoritism, she had always gotten whatever she wanted.
This was the first time in fifteen years that she had been beaten.
She refused to acknowledge Zhu Shi’s accusations, and in her heart, she wished she could kill Zhu Shi immediately.
In her eyes, Zhu Shi and her son were just dogs of the Wang family.
Wang Lizheng didn’t want to take this matter to the yamen at all. In his eyes, it was a trivial matter.
If it went to the yamen, it would involve many things.
How clean had the Wang family been all these years? If it got out of hand, it wouldn’t benefit him at all.
Wang Lizheng couldn’t stand his stupid and dull niece anymore.
He raised his hand and slapped Wang Jiaojiao hard. The force of the slap sent her sprawling to the ground.
“Shut up! Tell everyone here clearly, did you actually see Zhao Bao Gen go up Humpback Mountain with Qin Quixi?”
“You’re crazy, eldest brother!”
“Big brother…”
The Wang family’s mother and daughter-in-law, one screamed and went to help her daughter, the other frantically pounded on Wang Lizheng.
After Wang Laoer’s wife helped Wang Jiaojiao up, her face was full of dissatisfaction and resentment.
Wang Pozi’s curses were incessant.
She couldn’t stand it that her son had hit his family for someone else.
“If you want her dead, go ahead and make a fuss.” Wang Lizheng turned his back to the crowd and said coldly in a low voice.
Facing this hopeless situation, he felt an overwhelming sense of anger and sadness.
Wang Pozi and the others looked at Wang Lizheng’s cold gaze and dared not move for a moment.
Wang Lizheng strode over and dragged Wang Jiaojiao in front of everyone.
He barked coldly, “Say! Did you see Zhao Bao Gen go up the mountain with Qin Quixi? This is a matter of life and death, think carefully!”
Wang Lizheng’s implication was clear. He could only pray in his heart that his niece would use her head for once and not drag them down.
